Bonbon Frozen Yogurt & More

I just found this little gem a week ago. I love to mix the Euro tart frozen yogurt with strawberry frozen yogurt and top it off with the strawberry boba. The shop has a upstairs area and free wifi. They also have a big selection in gelato.

The tart yogurt is amazing! Yum!!!
The flavor and topping selection available isn’t nearly as vast as some other places I’ve been, but the gelato alternative makes up for that. (In my opinion!) We’re a husband-​loves-​gelato, wife-​loves-​yogurt kind of couple so this is a happy place.
I found boba and mochi in the toppings section. So there’s definitely enough choices for me.
Futuristic interior: blonde wood paneling with molded white plastic chairs, robins egg blue paint and those big plasticky looking globe lights like you would buy at Ikea (so THAT’S the kind of décor those fit in with!) We prefer to sit upstairs in the comfy chairs and watch the goings on below.

So, The reason why I’m giving this low stars is because of the quality of the gelato. I dislike fro-​yo so I don’t really know and or care how good it is. The gelato is terrible, it has the texture of sandpaper. The girl at the front was nice. I have very high standards when it comes to ice cream/​gelato.

A collection of everything sweet and trendy, with cupcakes, gelato, AND self-​serve fro-​yo, Bonbon is part of the newly developed Cherokee South group of businesses. The gelato was nothing out of this world, but the attentive service from the owner really made the difference.
Clean and nice. Let’s see if they stick around.

I don’t tend to see a lot of difference between the self-​service yogurt places, but two things make Bonbon better than most: product variety and atmosphere. In addition to the froyo options, they’ve got a nice selection of cupcakes and cookies. And I do like the lounge upstairs very much. Nice to have a frozen yogurt place in this area.

I love the décor of this place. It is very modern, go upstairs for some couch/​chair seating.
When you first walk in to your left there will be gelato, i tasted some and it tasted great but I was in the mood for froyo. Until I passed the cupcakes and cookies… i reallllly wanted to try some of these but just kept walking to the froyo. They have 4 – 5 froyo machines. While this froyo is not my favorite it satisfied me.
They have hot fudge which seems to be hard to find in froyo places so it made me super happy. They also have alot more toppings then im use to seeing like snickers, reeses, oreos, like actual cut up candy bars.
My hubby broke down and got a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie which was massive and soft and chewy… this is something to come back for.
I had to push him out the door to stay away from the key lime cupcake…
We will come back here whenever we may be in the area again.

High quality treats with several healthy options and fresh toppings. Salty caramel gelato was amazing! My husband had a cupcake so I snuck a bite. It was not as sugary as it looked and it was very moist. Friendly service. We will go back.

Very tasty stuff, and reasonably priced I suppose, for ice cream type treats and for JoCo.
Cool, clean atmosphere with a (small) upstairs and patio outside.
Nice flavors and texture.
Friendly service.

I recently moved from plaza to overland park, I have been looking for a place for gelato, i tried the coffee almond and the banana cream pie combination (although i hated coffee). that was a really good combination, perfect tasting.

Several self-​serve yogurt places have opened recently in the area, but this one is in our neighborhood! They not only sell self-​serve yogurt but gelato and cupcakes as well. The fresh blue and white décor adds to the overall appeal of this fun neighborhood treat shop. The gelato flavors were different than what I’ve seen before — the peanut butter cookie was a definite fav! Show your support OP and visit Bön Bön!

This place just opened down the street from me. I have been waiting for this since last year when the «Bön Bön Yogurt Coming Soon» sign first went up. It’s actually a combination of various recent trends all put together:
Want frozen yogurt with all the toppings? Come on down!
Craving some gelato? Come on down!
Care for some cupcakes? Come on down!
I have had the frozen yogurt a couple of times, but have yet to try the gelato or cupcakes. There aren’t as many flavors of anything as in one of the places like Paciugo, Orange Leaf, or the scads of cupcakeries, but if your family just can’t decide which trend to partake in, no worries, because here you don’t have to choose. I will say that the self-​serve dulce de leche yogurt and blueberry pomegranate sorbet are awesome without ANY toppings…
