Fun Kuts 4 Kids

We’ve been going here since we moved to
Oswego in 2012. My son had his first haircut here and both my kids go here every time they need a cut. It’s a super cute place, friendly staff, and they do a great job on the cuts. I think it’s because of this place my kids love getting their haircut so much. They get to pick the vehicle they sit in, their favorite show to watch while they’re having their haircut, there’s a fun little play area to play in while they wait, and a small prize at the end to choose! Perfect place for the little ones.

Second visit wasn’t as great as the first.
The people did not really listen to what I wanted in the haircut. There was hair all over the place from the last kids, and they did not really do much to clean it up.
It wasn’t horrible, wasn’t great like the first time either.
I’m going to be checking out other kids haircut places in the area.

Didn’t realize before today that they do adult haircuts, too! You can get your hair done and the kids can play in the play area. Doesn’t get much better than that. They did a great job on all our hair!

We walked in on a Saturday for my sons 2^nd haircut and they got us right in and he absolutely loved it! Al the ladies were nice and worked well with kids.

This place is fantastic! The employees are very patient and friendly, they allow the children you watch a movie or play a game while they’re getting their haircut. After the haircut they get a small prize. Would recommend.

Absolutely love this place for the kids haircuts. The staff are all friendly and talented, both with our princess who loves getting her haircut, and our boy who gives them a workout while he kicks and screams.
We always get in and out quickly, with or without an appt (but I do recommend an appt). They do have a nice play area if waiting is required and plenty to entertain the kids.
Prices are very reasonable.

I walked in without appointments for my two kids but since I was looking for a new haircut place I was more interested in just checking it out and wasn’t bothered if we couldn’t get haircuts.
The staff was friendly and said walk-​ins are welcome. Adults can also get their hair cut. I said can we get ours done and they said of course, it would mean waiting a bit as the customers with appointments obviously had to go first but that was fine. The kids played in the play area and time passed.
My daughter got hers cut first then my son… the screamer… had his turn. He wriggled, kicked, screamed, cried and all the while Yvonne just kept trimming while I got my workout trying to hold him in my lap (he wasn’t interested in the fun kid airplane or car seats if it meant a haircut). Considering how much he was moving he got a really good haircut. Kudos to Yvonne. She cut my daughter’s hair and I even got mine trimmed. I was very happy with the service and the prices were fantastic.

I’ve taken both of my sons (1&3) here several times. Who wouldn’t love to sit in an airplane and watch Backyardigans while getting a haircut?
We’ve had a different stylist every time we’ve come and haven’t been disappointed. The cuts are consistent & they do well with squirming kids. I appreciate the advice too because I originally wanted identical cuts for the two boys, but didn’t think about how much thinner my younger ones hair was.
We usually just walk-​in for a haircut in the morning during the week & wait 10 – 15 minutes. Always greeted when we walk-​in and very courteous.
The only reason this is 4 instead of 5 is the cleanliness factor. I realize it’s got to be difficult to keep all the toys in the area clean with the use, but some of them look a little rough. And with the odd shapes and crevices of the airplane/​car/​etc it would be difficult to sweep out all the hair after every client, but I think a little more effort would be great.

We have been going to Fun Kuts for 5 plus years now. Michelle, the owner, has cut our sons hair since he was 10 months old. And we haven’t stopped going back. My husband goes, our boys go and we love it there. Fun, friendly environment. Attention to detail never falls short. Great place in Oswego for kids hair cuts. And they do great things for the community too. Thanks!

Have taken my son here a few times and honestly, not sure we will be back. It is a nice facility; however, the stylists we have had each time did not really seem to enjoy being around kids too much (I get kids are tiring, but you should at least know how to deal with them if that is your choice of work). Just did not seem that professional and poor customer service in my opinion.

My son had his very first haircut at Fun Kuts 4 Kids and the staff did a great job despite my son screaming the whole time! They were very patient and professional.

Love this place! They have very good staff and always do a great job with my children’s haircuts!
