Cupcakers

Amazing, delicious, delightful owner. We were coming through town and wanted to try them for the first time, and were welcomed in after closing. After picking up a dozen cupcakes, we brought then for an extended family dinner and they were a huge hit. A new hometown staple for sure.

I work up the street from cupcakers and we pop in all the time to try the new flavor a they post on their Facebook. I love that they do mini cupcakes so you can try the different flavors without having a giant cupcake. My fiancé is a die hard red velvet fan and he says theirs are the best! Great addition to the downtown area

I don’t like saying negative things about a small business, but I’m hoping some constructive criticism can help, as they are a fairly new business.
The inside of my cupcake was sticky– as in not cooked all the way through. As another poster said, the other cupcake I ordered seemed pretty stale. The only redeeming quality was the frosting, which was beautiful and tasty. The cake part of the cupcake– not so much.
I plan to try them again in the future once they’ve been open longer.

Pretty surprised to come home for the holidays and see a brand new cupcake shop open in Oswego. I was really excited to try it out so on a lazy day after Christmas I swung down to the bakery. Pretty impressed when I walked in, the space is really nice and the price was very reasonable ($ 2.75/cupcake). The selection seemed extremely large for what I would imagine wasn’t a super high volume day — maybe 15 – 16 different flavors with a dozen or so cupcakes for each flavor. I decided to try a carrot cake cupcake and a cupcake with mint frosting and an Oreo on top (figured I couldn’t go wrong there). The carrot cake cupcake was really very very good — the downfall was the other cupcake, it had clearly been made many days prior to selling. The Oreo was soft (read completely stale) and the cake didn’t taste much better. The frosting was amazing, but frosting alone can’t save a cupcake. I was really disappointed that they served such a stale product, otherwise this would have easily been a five-​star review.
