The food is great! There aren’t a lot of vegetarian options on the menu, but you can customize! The staff is so nice! This is SUCH a great restaurant for Oroville.
I had the caprese panini but switched the chicken to avocado, and got a side of fries. Wow amazing. The French fries are really good and seasoned with pepper.

This is a great little place! They are very close to Mitchell Ave/​Myers St stop light intersection (across from Steve’s Barber, Raley’s parking lot area). There is an Italian Flag painted on the front windows, so it shouldn’t be too hard to find. They have both indoor seating and outdoor seating. When you walk in, there is a register/​counter area to place your order, pay, and then take a seat wherever you like. Usually the kitchen staff will bring out your food to you. Near the soda machine is silverware, extra condiments, straws, etc.
I’ve come in a few times for lunches. The pasta dish I tried was delicious and flavorful, spaghetti and meatballs were good, and I really liked The Gladiator sandwich. They have a great menu with lots of choices, sometimes it’s hard to decide. The names of the sandwiches are very cool. You have the option to buy the sandwich by itself or add a side of potato salad or french fries for an extra cost. Prices are very reasonable and the food doesn’t take long, probably less than 15 minutes.
Customer service has been friendly and I have enjoyed the lunches I tried so far. I would really like to order a Take and Bake pizza one of these days. The salads look really good too! Would like to come back again…

Wonderful take and bake pizza’s I often get coupons for half off buy one get one. They have a punch card and the prices are reasonable. This local gem is owned and worked by the owners who really put their heart into everything.

Friendly, helpful. Quick service. Food creative and tasty. Presentation ok but not special. Atmosphere average. Clean bathroom. Owner super nice, came by table to check in us.

Very good food and service! Order what you want! Fresh and tasty. Hope you can make it and keep them in business so they can order a pizza oven! Then this place will be hopping! Great, after a long day of traveling by car!

After reading the reviews i got excited to try this restaurant. What a disappointment!
I got the Mediterranean salad. It was tiny in size and had maybe an ounce of chicken. It was supposed to be grilled but rather looked like it came out of a package from the grocery store!
Mediterranean salads usually come with a Greek dressing but that was not a choice. There was parmesan cheese instead of feta. Who does that?
Well I got the Italian dressing and it tastes like it came out of a bottle.
This is my first review I have ever written. I just felt angry while eating because I don’t go out that much and when I do I want to enjoy what I’ve eaten. I left hungry and unhappy for my experience.

Tried this place for the first time today. Service was great and the employees are certainly friendly and welcoming. We ordered the godfather Philly cheesesteak and the caprese panini w/​fries which were very filling and delicious. Love that they have take and bake pizza as well as to go lasagna and spaghetti. Great place to go for a reasonably priced lunch/​dinner. Would definitely recommend.

Pretty good food, even though what i got seemed something easy to make and cheap. It seemed it was more money to buy there but pretty good if you don’t want to go home and cook and have money to spend like that.

This place is awesome!!! You know it’s good when your 3 yr old and 4 yr old eat their whole sandwich quietly!!! Service was spectacular! Also the owner is very nice!
Will make this a regular family outing!!!

Came into Oroville to watch my wife bowl in the Women’s State Tournament. When we got into town we immediately searched Unilocal for a place to eat. Our first choice was a German Restaurant but they closed at 3pm. Then we decided to try this place. It is a small place with a few tables inside and a table and picnic bench outside. I ordered the lasanga and the wife spaghetti and meatballs. Both were very tasteful. The lasagna did not have a meat sauce which I would perfer however it still was very tasty. They only thing lacking is there is no alcoholic beverage to go with the Italian food therefore four stars. Spoke with the owner during our meal and learned everything is made from scratch including the pasta which is big plus. They have been open only a short time and still making improvements. If your in the area and in the mood for great pasta and or sandwiches give this place a try.

That’s a big meh. I was really excited after seeing all these reviews, but the hype was well beyond what this place could live up to. I think the girl at the counter forgot to put in our orders, because we waited a very long time fore pasta to boil, and sauce to be labeled on top. The marinara was a massive let down. I have had tomato purée from a can with more flavor. Maybe I should just have had lasagna, but I was told there was none so I suspect I will never know. The price was on the steep side given the quantity and quality. Won’t be returning, but maybe it was just an off day. Visit at your own risk.

The staff was extremely friendly. I ordered the godfather (Philly cheesesteak) and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had.

This place does quality food! I’ve had the Italian Sausage sandwich and the Godfather, both of which were very good. I’ll definitely be back, keep up the good food!!!

Reviews are spot on, this place is a real find. Fresh made sauces and pastas. I had the lasagna and it was outstanding. The fresh for focacia bread is not to be missed, also had the Asian chicken salad. Super nice folks great service awesome food totally recommended

First time we tried The Italian Kitchen and was really impressed. The Spaghetti was excellent and so was the clam chowder. The menu has a lot of variety and we will be back to try many of the other dishes. Great addition to Oroville.

Nice surprise to find and Italian eatery in Oroville! Love the Black Angus and Bleu Cheese Salad. The lasagna is really good, and the baked spaghetti special was delicious as well. All served by friendly staff, can’t wait to try more…

We stopped in today for a nice lunch after reading all the great reviews. We were greeted by the chef, waitress and owner! We shared the Meatball Sandwich and Chef Salad… everything was very tasty and fresh! We were given samples of the pesto and alfredo sauces — wow… great flavor — looking forward to going back and having some pasta. You get to choose type of pasta and sauce plus extras… sounds like fun! Interesting sandwiches that I also look forward to trying. The take and bake pizzas sound awesome too… may just have to swing by to grab one for dinner tonight… :) Super friendly staff and quick service…

Went here for lunch based off other reviews. This place was fantastic!!! The food was high quality and made to order. The owner brought us samples of pesto and alfredo sauce to taste while waiting for our sandwiches. Great flavors all around! Will come back to try their pasta!!!
I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and my friend ordered The Old World sandwich which was a new ale on a BLT. It had bacon, spinach, sun dried tomatoes and pesto on focaccia bread! Absolutely delicious!!!

Very very good! Bella sandwich is amazing. Really friendly staff. Quick food… Finally some good restaurants opening in Oroville!
