La Costena De Acapulco

Love this place. The most authenticate mexican food around in my opinion. Plus the staff is friendly which is always a plus.

The few times that I have been in for lunch, food was OK and customer service was not that great. I was very disappointed in my enchiladas being DRY! There wasn’t enough sauce or perhaps their meats are reheated/​recooked which makes it more drier. I didn’t like the rice, but the beans were fresh and tasted good! As for the salsa and chips, they only gave me a little bit, like sample size and the salsa has a strange vinegary taste! For spiciness, I was expecting my food to be much more spicier but it was mild on both the combo plate and burrito.
On a Sunday morning I came in and it was not too busy, yet it took forever!!! There was a family of 4 who ordered before me and I could tell they had been waiting a very long time… plus all their food did not come out at the same time. I am sure I waited at least 20 minutes for my burrito. It was just a bad day, but I gave them another chance and was still disappointed. I am not sure if I’ll return again here… The prices don’t seem worth the Quality/​freshness of food or small portion sizes! The interior of the place is nice and I enjoyed seeing all their décor and pictures on the wall.
