My husband & I ate lunch here a few days ago. I ordered e memo special with chili Colorado. I took one bite of the chili Colorado & it was horrible. It had a burnt taste to it. You can’t not know that smell & I can’t believe they served it to customers. I let the waitress know & she took it off the bill. We haven’t been there for a few months and can’t see us going back any time soon. I do love their chips & salsa & Their long time waitress, Judy is always fun to talk to. She’s a great waitress too.

Food terrible, 6 of us no one liked theirs. Portions small for a tostada, nothing on it. And too salty. Guacamole was a runny liquid. Charged for wet burrito barely had any extra on it.

Good food, good service. Everyone in our party cleaned their plates. Would definitely come back.

The food was absolutely disgusting. My chicken burrito was very dry, the gaucomole lacked flavor, the salsa wasn’t too bad. The nachos were the worst thing I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. The nachos had that nasty fake cheese and the ground beef reminded me of stuff you’d get at Taco Bell. They’ve definitely gone down hill since I was a kid.

I came here for a birthday lunch and was excited to see how low the prices were, but alas, you get what you pay for. Most things on the menu were under $ 10 except a few speciality plates. I ordered a tostada and soda and spent about $ 8, but the soda was the best part of the meal. The lettuce and tomatoes were not that fresh and the chicken tasted like they seasoned it with mild sauce from Taco Bell. We ordered ahead an hour before because our group was large and on a lunch break, and we still had to wait more than 10 minutes for the food to come out. They didn’t even bring drinks until halfway through eating, and the bad service wasn’t justified because the place looked empty to me. Not a fan.

customer service was terrible. Paid high price for food that was not all that great. The restrooms are clean. I don’t think I will be a returning customer.

Need’s a little work on the service and the food a little bland nothing I couldn’t do at home but if your out and about and on a budget it’s a notch or two above taco bell.

I was surprised at how quickly our food came. Speedy service. However every filling of the chimichanga except the meat was outside the shell. I ended up just mashing it all together. The shell was limp and tasteless the meat had a weird smoky flavor to it. My friend nacho were a small portion tasteless with few toppings and gross cheese. No thanks.

Good food for a good price. We really like the servers. They are always friendly and do a good job of taking care of the customers. They have a banquet room for groups or parties which is separate from the rest of the restaurant which is really nice for bigger get togethers.

Francisco’s used to be my favorite Mexican food place in Oroville. If we were in the mood for Mexican we would pick there hands down every time. that is until this evening. We went in and ordered our favorite the mixed fajita plater. I made my fajita and began to eat it and noticed it had a foul taste to it so I had my husband try his. To our disbelief the meat in the fajita tasted bad. Now mind you we don’t complain often but we believed that they would treat us right because we always went in there. The waitress took the fajitas back(after asking us if we wanted to just ‘pick out the bad meat”) and came back to the table and told us that because we ate some of it she was only going to discount half of the bill. I was semi ok with that because we did pick out some of the shrimp. When I recieved the bill I noticed that she charged us $ 11.75 for half of a fajita(the normal price of the platter was $ 20) without complaining any further but some what dismayed I went to the register to pay. The owners son cashed me out and when I asked if they had showed him the platter and if they had tasted it he gave me an additude and told me there was nothing wrong with the meat that she(the waitress) discounted my ticket and to have a nice day(in a not so nice manner) I am so disgusted that we were treated like this that I cant over look it and will not be returning. I have ignored the poor service from the lack of staff due to the prices being reasonable and the ok food. Im heartbroken because this treatment is why small businesses fail in a small town.

I gave this place 2 stars because of the staff. The owner however is not so great. Not a supporter of the community at all. I have not actually eaten here, however, I was throwing a community event and wanted to speak to the owner. He did not give me even a moment to speak to him and instead sent his staff to tell me he did not deal with personal events. I am sad to say this was the most negative reaction I got from any establishment that I visited. This was not a personal event, in fact it was quite the opposite. I will not take the time to eat here and have shared this experience with others as I am well known in the community. Next time at least say hi.

Not bad food. Salsa could be spicier and the service was awful. Now I try to bare in mind that I was there with a group and we were holding a meeting in the back room. The fact that we reserved it didn’t stop other people from being seated back there. The waitress took our drink orders by writing it down on the palm of her hand and When our food came out, I got Mary’s plate, Mary got Steves, Steve got Bob’s and they forgot someone elses order all together. Plus the food orders took a long time to start coming out, and nobody ever offered to refill my soda, and since we were in the back room and one big group we didn’t exactly have a server just wondering around at any given moment that I could of asked. The back room that we were in was quite nice. It has big, to the ceiling, windows that overlook a cute little side yard with an arrangement of desert plants. Really cute. One thing I can’t complain about was the price. It was very resonably priced. That’s the ONE thing though. I’m tired of going to Mexican resturants that have deluted their grandmothers recipes for the sake of their caucasian patrons. I wouldn’t call this place my top pick for mexican food in the area.
