I usually only do reviews when an establishment is very good or really bad. Wawa’s food at this location is great speciality beverages the same. What my concern is the ice machine has been down for 5 days and when I asked the manager what was the matter she indicated that the consumers got to much ice. You offer free ice then are upset that customers come in for ice. I am sure people abuse that face that ice is free however a customer like me only gets gas at Wawa because I will get cup of ice after I pump $ 30 worth of gas or get my subs there because it reminds me of home. This location had done nothing about this broken ice machine and I feel as a customer they should do something about it.

The environment is clean over all. I never would of thought a gas station would have better food then the fast foods in the adjoining area but this Wawa has really good food and is fresh to order. I love the turkey and ham club sandwich beats going to the Walmart and getting subway. They also have smoothies which are amazing as well. Overall if u don’t want the unhealthyness of fast food stop at Wawa!

This store happens to be in a location that I drive by several times a day. It is about a year and a half old. The food: soups, sandwiches, subs, etc… as good as most sit down restaurants. The store is very clean, well staffed and the whole place has a fun feel to it. The employees are very helpful and friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy being there. I am not sure how that happens, but congrats on a well run location!

Had a breakfast burrito and it came with a white price of plastic or piece of bone. I almost chipped my tooth. Pretty freaking disturbing: never eating here ever again

Hoagiefest! Hoagiefest! Hoagiedest! Man you cannot go wrong with one of these delicious subs. When you go to make your choice they have a selection of hoagies from different parts of the country. Go ahead and be adventurous and try one of those, I promise you will not regret it. On a recent trip I tried a hot Italian hoagie with several different kinds of peppers. It was the shizzle! Go ahead and give it a try.

Love stopping in here. I’m always on the go and fast easy and affordable just makes my day better. Wawa’s is always clean and offers just what I need. The staffers are neat and cheerful and there’s usually no lines for checking out. They’ve always have a nice selection of fresh salads and sandwiches ready to go if you don’t want to order something special. I’m so happy WAWA moved into town. No wonder wherever they open up the 7 – 11 closes.

Just picked up a roast beef club at the Lakeland, FL98 N location tonight and it was fantastic. 1:30 am actually and people were still hanging out, eating, and shoppers coming and going. The WaWa’s seem to be going like a well oiled machine and look forward to frequenting this location often.

Can never get anyone to take your money, and this has to be the worst place I have seen to be nasty by where the cups are. No one in there cares about the customer

Horrible customer service. Made to order food came screwed up too many times for me. I used to go to this place everyday, sometimes TWICE a day but they just don’t care and therefore they will never get another penny from me.

Wawa came to stay! Love the practicality and the subs at any time, coffee is excellent with a great variety and breakfast has nothing to envy to McDonald or dunkin.

This has got the be the busiest Wawa in Orlando! Stopped on my way to work to get a bacon egg cheese croissant. i had to wait five minutes as they were cooking, The store on crowded as everyone was buying breakfast and/or lunch. My sandwich was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The bacon was crispy and it was just GOOD when I bit into it. Love this breakfast sandwich. The coffee fresh, hot and just darn good! This place is like a DRUG and the addiction has begun!!!

Thank you coffee Gods!!! Wawa is the blessing I never expected to happen. I’ve been told this is a northern company and thank you for coming to FL. I legit drink Wawa coffee 5 days a week. I even bought the Wawa 20oz reusable mug(best option for avid coffee drinkers). I love this place. It’s clean, organized, aesthetically pleasing and all the employees are happy. Oh Wawa you have my heart. I need to buy stock in Wawa.

Nothing less than *****. I fell in love with the Wawa experience living in the Philly area and truly missed it when I moved to Florida. Now I am a happy camper again — happier when Wawa finds S Florida. Ive yet to meet a Wawa employee who did not exude pride in their job and their employer — and that shows in the quality of both product and service. Excellent job, Wawa.

Wawa is … AMAZING. If you’re wondering why it’s popping up like mushrooms after the rain, wonder no more. Just venture into one, and you’ll soon see why. For one thing, it’s single-handedly lowering the gas price of its immediate vicinity, by 5 – 10 cents on average — and that’s on all 3 grades, instead of the«loss leader» games that some stations play(does that not irritate you as much as it irritates me?) For another, the staff is more polite and better trained, and the store, bigger, more pleasant, and offer WAY more choices than most any other gas station/convenience store you’ve seen. The«high tech» ordering is designed to cut down lines, but it’s only as effective as the users in front of you are familiar with how it works. With so many things going for this chain, you may have reason to think that they name it ‘Wawa’ because of the loud howls of distress made by rival stores when they move into an area, and you won’t be too far wrong: except they’re thus named because they’re based in Wawa, Pa. BTW, it’s pronounced more to rhyme less with ‘Ah!” than«Awe!» — which works, too, I suppose. That said, while their coffee price(and quality) is very good, some of their other food and beverage choices are not inexpensive, and they’re not always good(e.g., the smoothies tend to have way too much ice, and they’re not blended thoroughly — at least it’s true of this store which I frequent the most these days). Offsetting the high price are some generous coupons from the receipts that keep you coming back. If Pastor Joel(Northland) is mentioning your store in his sermon, you’re a somebody, Wawa! My one other complaint is their lack of paper towel option and the sole use of these ultra-loud hand dryers with the unfortunate brand name of Xlerator — this is a bit of a peeve of mine. As much of a tree-hugger as I am, I vote for hand-drying OPTIONS. Use dryers PROMINENTLY by all means, but do offer paper towels —(like Costco does(not to mention that their Dyson«Blade» dryers, 3x more expensive than Xlerators, are also quieter). There are times when paper is the only good option(think, splashing your face or cleaning up a messy kid — what, I have to use TOILET paper to wipe her mouth?). Second, these outrageous contraptions that are over 100 decibels should be banned because they’re so freaking loud. Folks will just find ANOTHER excuse not to wash their hands. And when it’s your own staff, and they’re PREPARINGFOODANDDRINKS! … that’s just not a good combination. So, Wawa — maybe you want to heed this customer’s comments, your waw-someness notwithstanding!

Listen brochachos, this place is a convenience store on steroids. If you look them up on Wikipedia, this place is called WaWa Schwartzenegger… just kidding. YEAH, but you know you were gonna check! What can I say? This place has it all. I especially love the 2 for $ 3 Sizzli breakfast sammys. DELISH! The lunch sammies appear to be on point as well however I have yet to try one. I have also grabbed a pack of the Krups seasonal pumpkin flavored coffee packs for myself and folks at work. They are a huge hit. Gas is always sold at a pretty competitive price and I usually grab a tank when the price is right. There are deals galore on various products so you are bound to snap one up should you venture into this place. I usually hit this spot on the way home from work for breakfast sammys and I am always sassified to the max. If life should occasion your path into this store, you will be sold. I would demand it, but it’s simply guaranteed sucka! So get on down to your local WaWa and let the love affair begin!

In order to preview the Wawa arrival in Tampa, I sampled this one in Orlando.-lin Very impressive overall. First, their gas prices were same as the nearby discounters. But gas is just a sideline to their real strength is in food/beverage lines. They have the usual array of items available in convenience stores, with a walk-in beer/wine cooler and dozens of coffee and smoothie variations. Some sandwiches/fruit/pastries/snacks are ready to go, but most food is custom-made based on your touch screen selections. So you can choose from dozens of condiments(dab of mayo vs. mayo), several bread types, cheeses, meats, etc We had excellent Philly Cheese Steak, chicken quesadillas, mac & cheese and lobster bisque. All very good and prices comparable to fast food. Wait time was not bad for us but expect it could slow at meal times due to the detailed touch screen process and individual sandwich prep. This is a nice addition to the niche between fast food and deli, so I expect to try it again in Tampa.

I freakin’ love Wawa. I hate when people are like, «Isn’t that just a gas station?» WHAT blasphemy is that. Wawa is an establishment. I can’t even really call it a convenience store, because that doesn’t do it justice. There’s a few things I love about Wawa: 1) The coffee — 12oz coffee = $ 1.25. And it’s GOOD coffee. My personal favorite is the Pumpkin coffee with Hazelnut creamer. It’s delicious. 2) The breakfast sandwiches — I’m a fan of the bagel w/egg whites, Swiss cheese, and turkey sausage. Very good stuff. They usually have them prepared fresh in the morning, but if they don’t have them out, you can request and they’ll make you one. 3) The hoagies! They are awesome. You order them at one of the little touch screens and they are made fresh. I had the Italian and it literally had a ROLL of meat on it. Delicious, tasty, fresh meat. Their bread is also impressive. 4) The service — the staff is super, super friendly. They greet you at the door and help you happily if you need it. 5) Tastycake! They have a bunch of different varieties and deliciousness. All in all — get in there and give it a chance. :)

Closest to my house! Seriously, anyone who doesn’t «get» the hype around Wawa, just walk in! So clean and fresh! So user friendly, I just wish they would add an order screen near the Coffee station so you don’t have to wait for people ordering a lot. Or, if you are waiting for your Hoagie and forgot your drink, you can hit that up while waiting. Also, in the automated offerings, you can choose double meat but sometimes I just want double of one certain meat. But overall, doesn’t take away from the whole experience. Like I mentioned in my other Wawa review, Herr’s chips & tastykakes FTW! Still missing the Wawa Icecream, I hope that is an addition once they see they are loved here in the South too =)

I love Wawa. One of the biggest things I miss about my beloved homeland of Pennsylvania, is Wawa. Every time I go visit my family outside Philly I make a point to indulge in copious amounts of Wawa goodies. My favorites include but aren’t limited to, House raspberry iced tea, lemon iced tea, almost all the coffee is good and they have about 20 different kinds, turkey hoagies, the sizzli breakfast sandwiches are good my fav is the turkey sausage and egg white and The Philly soft pretzels. I haven’t seen the soft pretzels here in Florida yet but I have been assured they will be migrating south and cant wait. I’ve heard alot of people ask what does Wawa mean? The Native Americans around the Delaware valley, present day Philadelphia were called the Lenape and Wawa was their word for Goose. That’s also why their logo is a goose. I know thats way too much information about a gas station but it feels almost like an old friend has moved to town… lol
