Walgreens

Trying to buy something at Walgreens always goes one of two ways:
1. The checkout person is either nowhere to be found or is preoccupied with some busy work behind the counter that apparently has to be done in the next two minutes, or
2. The line is 15 people deep and the checkout person is nitpicking over what kind of Coke some ridiculous coupon applies to.
I always think «I’ll just stop and get something quickly,» but that simply isn’t possible here. They don’t even give you magazines to read while you wait at this store! But seriously, this seems to be the case at almost every Walgreens I’ve shopped at in Orlando, which sucks.

First impressions: nice parking lot, clean exterior.
Inside: Wow. Suuuuuper clean looking. Nice polished concrete floors, shelves nicely stocked and a «Welcome to Walgreens» that makes me think I’m at Moe’s. (I’ll take a Joey Bags with extra cilantro please).
There’s a light sound of your standard music overhead, oddly enough it was Hall and Oates when I walked in — YES! Love me some H&O.
Still, it’s a Walgreens, and the myriad of products from a plethora of brands can make finding just what what you want a bit challenging. Also, as we all know, the prices can be a bit higher than your neighborhood superstore.
But if you sign up for their FREE rewards card — they have some great deals. And it’s automatic.
Yes. No coupons to clip — unless you enjoy papercuts and schlepping an encyclopedia of newspaper clippings everywhere you go.
All in all it’s a great store here. Lives up to the standard and earns its College Park zip code.
Oh, and their «Nice!» Brand has some great deals and products. Mmmm yogurt covered pretzels…

FINALLY WALGREENS IS BACK IN COLLEGE PARK!
The new store just reopened and it is better than ever — sooo happy they are back in business. The store is clean, well-​stocked, very very nice staff (including the pharmacy). They also have a huge selection of store-​brand items (I think it’s called «Nice!» brand) for cheap and a sweet photo printing section. This is now my go-​to pharmacy/​convenience store.

The store itself is now closed, but the pharmacy is open right across the parking lot. My doctor called in a prescription for me to pick up there, and I have to say that if they weren’t the only ones that had it in stock, I would not have gone there because the staffperson was downright rude. The shop itself is orderly and clean, which is why I’m giving it two stars instead of one.

Good place to buy a few things if u dont want to stop by the market. good service
