I got there at 11am today and the front door is covered with tarp and no lights coming from the inside, I called the number listed, it rang, no answer. Are they still in business? It looks like their either under construction or permanently closed.

A fantastic hidden gem!!! Authentic Hispanic/Venezuelan food served with a smile. The empanadas were fresh and excellent and the flan was the best we’ve ever had, this is coming from someone who spent three months on foreign study in Oaxca, Mexico. The coffee was far better than the multitude of Starbucks around and there were many things we didn’t have a chance to try. The tres leches cake looked amazing and none of the dessert portions were overwhelming in size. Definitely a don’t miss spot in Orlando and highly recommended.

My family and I have gone a few times. This a Venezuelan restaurant and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant itself is very small and intimate with a few tables for eating in or al fresco. The pastries and arepas are delicious, but more expensive than other places with same foods. Arepas with cheese only are 6.50 and 12 oz hot chocolate is 2.95. In one of my visits ladies room was out of soap. Staff has been friendly.

Arrived with my family on 10÷5÷14 at 12 pm(Sunday). The employee told me they didn’t have anything available on the menu with eggs(There went our breakfast/brunch). My kids decided they wanted a hot dog. The girl then tells me that also wasn’t available. Only 2 things on their breakfast and lunch menu was available. Absolutely atrocious place and will never recommend to anyone.

I came in here on a Sunday morning with friends, because it was close to their house. I loved that on a Sunday during brunch times there was no wait and we were seated immediately. The menu is limited as they are more of a bakery than a restaurant. But the food we ordered was good and came out quickly. My friends all ordered the Criolla for breakfast and I ordered an American breakfast. As soon as I saw and tasted their dishes, I immediately regretted my choice. The Criolla was much better and was a larger, more filling dish. It came with shredded braised beef, which was very tender and flavorful, eggs, queso blanco, and an arepa. The American came with eggs, bacon and toast. The only thing was that all the eggs were a bland and needed salt. My friend ordered a café con leche and it was so creamy and frothy, again I was jealous. I ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for a quick and cheap breakfast. In the future, I would like to try the numerous selection or empanadas and baked goods. They also have cakes that you can order as well as personal sized desserts like cheesecake and strawberry cake.

I got the shredded beef, plantain, black bean, and queso empanada. It was hot and so yummy. It also came with a cilantro aioli. I wish there was a bakery like this in New Orleans.

Excellent service and the food was even better. I ordered a latte and it was perfect! My mom and sister had the club sandwich and there was nothing left to take home. The sauces that they give you are awesome! Definitely a stop on the way to Disney and we will be back before we leave!

I initially had high hopes for this new place(new for me). That said, it was a rather disappointing 1st visit. Sure the décor and everything seems nice. But it lacks in service and product knowledge. I was very disappointed in their ‘barista’. She lacked knowledge of her coffees, failed to make any suggestions, etc. The other factor is…, I think this is a café that is mostly geared toward the Hispanic guests. While I’m writing this there have been no other ethnicity here, and I’m Asian lol. This place defines itself by its name, and they don’t seem to really accommodate other guests of different ethnicities. This is not me judging, this is pure observation.

Good random spot to stop on the way to Disney World. Bakery items looked wonderful. Ordered eggs, ham and toast. All good. Nice spot to stop. Make sure you have your Spanish translator…

I stop by for try their«hallacas»(typical venezuelan dish for Christmas time), I found it simple, combination of beef chicken and pork kind of tamale, it was ok ! At least is flavored but the the best ones … I think their specialty is the empanadas and the cachitos that I do recommend! The place is really clean and the servers are nice. Good ambience

The empanadas are to die for. Some with chicken, others with beef and sweet plantains… add in the garlic sauce and it’s game over. They’ve upgraded their furniture since my first review and have a great patio area with outlets to hook up your electronics and enjoy your food outdoors. Love this place.

It is a little tricky to find. Just know if’s right around the corner from the Cuban bistro. Now, some have written about their disappointment with the Unilocal deal, however, my experience was seamless. I simply purchased my deal on the phone, and then let the server know I had it before I ordered. She took my phone, showed it to someone else, and he then took my phone and headed off to the kitchen.. . Now, not sure about you, but I get nervous when people start handling my phone – especially if I cannot see them, but he came back and there was no issues with the deal. I ordered the desayuno special. Everything was really tasty, especially the eggs and the queso. A really healthy portion was served, along with an arepa. And just for fun I also ordered café con leche. The server was really sweet, which I found amazing as the restaurant was really busy on my visit. This little shop has a few bonuses in my opinion: 1. Power outlets that run parallel to the wall 2. Free wifi 3. Pet friendly 4. Free immersion Spanish lessons 5. Human rights campaign sticker in their front window.. . Got to love it.. .

Alright so I biked here for the free wifi and left a happy ass customer. I failed with the $ 5 for $ 10 deal(which goes a LONG way in this place) but still got great quality for the price. I just forgot to buy the coupon): lol. The ground beef empanadas are okay, but the first bite of the fried cheese empanada shot me through heaven. It was simply amazing. I’m actually eating it right now. Trust me, it’s really, really good. I also got shredded beef and a tres leches on the way. So please hold while I eat and browse the(free) internet out here at the Villages on a beautiful day. . . . So this shredded empanada right now isn’t a fried cheese one, I wish it was): but it is still very flavorful and meaty. Now I’m at the Tres Leches and I’m pretty disappoint that I did not receive a spoon to eat it with.): brb I’m going inside now to ask her for a spoon. This tres leches is perfectly spongy and milky, blasting me off to the heavens once more. Overall, I’d come back to this place and I’d recommend it to anyone. Good find

I really don’t know why I keep coming back to this place. The empanadas, cachitos and pastries are always mediocre at best. The service is slow and subpar. My last purchase from this place was a cake for a special ocassion. The cake looked promising but when we finally sliced the cake it was hard, dried and tasted like crap. I really think the cake sat on display for a week or at least that what it taste like. All 8 of us seemed to agree on the subpar cake, no one finished the cake and just went ahead and disposed the rest of the cake. I don’t recommend this place at all. There is another bakery nearby that is a million times better than this place.

Their Brazo Gitano is extremely good. This is a dessert common in South America which consists of a spongy kind of cake that has a roundish rectangular shape filled with cream and strawberries. It is just plain heavenly! I’ll say it is the best one you can find in Central Florida. Their tequenos don’t disappoint(But really, tequenos never do). They’re always delicious. I’ve had their lovely carne mechada empanada, and it was worth a mention in this review. I’ve also ordered their Golfeado which is a kind of sweet bread that appears to have sorta of a glaze with cheese on top… it’s very good but I’ve had better elsewhere in Central Florida for cheaper. They have the appearance of a cinnamon roll, but it’s not and trust me when I say it tastes way better than a cinnamon roll. For birthdays, almost 95% of the time I buy the cakes here. Every single one of them have been very very very goood. It’s just a matter of taste when deciding on which one to buy. I highly recommend purchasing a cake from them.

Very nice bakery inside. We went in to see if they had guava pastry and they did. It was excellent. We got a tiramisu and two guava pastries. The tiramisu was expensive around $ 3.50 but he guava pastry was very reasonable around $ 1.50 each. We would visit again when in the area.
