Love this bakery. It’s clean. The team is friendly and efficient. The pastries and bakery items are fresh and delicious. I’m a particular fan of the bunuelitos, empanadas, and pasteles. Their pastries and cakes are beautifully decorated, and taste just as good. A particular guilty pleasure of mine is the guava and cheese bread.

omg. yes. yes. yes. Can everyone clear out? because this now my spot. This is high priority on my to do list whenever in Orlando. Bump Disney, just kidding don’t kill me. Be ready for a full house because it’s more than likely. This is a hot spot for locals. You will see a lot of Latin Americans because where there is smoke, there’s usually a fire and someone is baking up a storm. The dessert glass showcase will be enough to increase your blood sugar. Thankfully the desserts can be quite light, such as their tiramisu(I highly recommend), with a cup of cappuccino, let’s not be crazy. I am picky about my tres leche and their’s is overly sweet to me, but there are so many other great options here. While dessert will steal your attention, their savory food worth your time. The options include tamales, or chicken and beef baked into bready delights. All foods seem to showcase their baking prowess, whether crumbly, or soft and heavenly, they perfectly pull off empanadas side by side with croissants. You won’t believe how affordable this place is and it’s worth noting that this location is a rock’s throw away from Ritz Carlton(if you have an arm canon). Stupid cheap. You can’t go wrong here. Try a little of everything and feel good about life choices.

I can’t find anything wrong with this place! The arepas are as good as they get, the ham and cheese croissants were pure comfort food. Coffee was perfect. Well deserved 5 stars.

It is a great place to have some sweet treats. However, some cakes are too sweet for kids.

This bakery is incredible. So many delicious sweet and savory baked foods, and I was surprised and delighted to have one of the best cappuccinos I’ve ever had at this bakery. The staff is very polite and competent, and the environment is great for having a bite to eat and enjoying a coffee. Highly recommended!

I’ve never been disappointed by anything I’ve gotten here. they currently have watermelon limeade that is a very limey but also good. I love the empanadas and the pan de Bono I pretty much get them every single time I go there. the people are very nice service is always fast and courteous. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

Incredible food, wonderful service! Everything was so good, the guava pastries, ham and cheese croissants, that we went back for lunch! The empanadas, flan and Princess cake were so worth it! Only regret was that we found this place on our last day in Orlando.

My husband and I didn’t intend to eat there. We usually go inside bakeries so I can get a feel of what’s new in the baking field because I have a small catering company with desserts but their desserts and breads looked so appetizing I was really impressed. The girls greeted us and were nice. The flan was our favorite of the four we tried. I’d definitely come back!

5 stars all the way! Everything is great here. Beautiful deserts, amazing strong café con leche, croissants, pan de bono, you name it, it’s all good! All decently priced items. Their staff, some have been around for years now. Oh and they are happy working here which means great service and smiling faces for you. They have a small area inside to sit that is always clean. The interior is typical euro café. Sleek & modern. They have a few chairs and tables outside too. They are usually very busy but it is worth the wait!

Every road trip our family tries to find unique bakeries to hit and we’ve tried all sorts of bakeries from Korean to Japanese to Cuban and we have not tried Columbian so we were so excited to go here. It was a little bit out of the way so we were hoping that it would be very good but came down a little bit disappointed just because of the taste not because of how clean it was nor how nice it was. There was a long line but very efficient and I was a bit overwhelmed as we don’t know what to order besides what we looked up at Unilocal or TripAdvisor so we did try a variety of stuff and my teenage daughter love this place. She loved every single thing that we got however the rest of us was it’s okay because we were comparing to Porto’s Cuban bakery in LA and that we always had in California and we were comparing to a really good Japanese and Korean bakery that we just hit on our last road trip however we love the beef empanadas here. It was delicious! Wished we got more! Everything was really fresh. The guava turnover was pretty good. We did wish it was less of jammy inside and more like fresh less sweet guava but it was good. The skin was fresh and flakey. However the cheese ball and the cheese corn Patty was so weird. I’m sure it was good and authentic. But it was just too heavy. We were heading out to the beach area actually so it was very heavy and we couldn’t finish it as a family of seven. We got a huge guava bread cuz we love guava but it was really big and dry but again my teenage daughter love this place and she would want to hit here again if we are ever in town in Orlando. We are just glad we tried it. It was very clean inside. Its just the line was really long and they’re moving us and we just don’t know what to order so that was the only hesitancy otherwise I’m glad we found it and that we tried a Colombian Bakery. And I’m sure the coffee was really good too. We were just so overwhelmed we didn’t even get a cup of Colombian coffee for my husband when we were rushed out the door lol there was nowhere to sit either :/So definitely worth a visit. Go early and expect a line :)

My friends and I visited this bakery three times during our weeklong vacation in Orlando. For me, the standouts are the bunuelos, corn cake(add cheese), and dulche/tres leche cake. The coffee was also very good! When you enter the bakery/café, line up at the end and someone will take your order. Fortuna is a neighborhood gem offering tasty pastries and friendly customer service.

This place is a fun little gem located away from the tourist attractions. Everything here looks and tastes delicious. We tried the baked empanadas, turnovers, sausage, cakes and the fruit bowel w/bavarian cream. I believe the cakes were the dulce, flan and strawberry shortcakes. These were lightly sweet and not heavy at all. So good! The empanadas(baked) were light and delicious, perfect amounts of bread and meat. Ok, so we tried a lot — but we shared as a party of 6 and there was something for each of us. The prices are very affordable and the staff took the time to explain menu items that we were unsure about. I’m so happy I found this place!

First of all, on presentation alone — five stars! Their cakes look absolutely GORGEOUS! I almost just wanted to get a whole cake to take home, but I had to force myself to stay focused on my goal of sampling a few things because. .. well. .. calories are very real! Hey, it’s all about balance, right?!! ANYWAY, I’d had this place on my radar for a long time and finally got a chance to go try a few things out today! Upon pulling up to the place, I immediately noticed a long line inside! I was a little worried there’d be a long wait, but once we got in, I was relieved to realize that it moved very quickly, thanks to being well staffed! So how did it taste? Well, my husband and I ended up deciding on trying a mocha dessert, while he also picked out a sugary pastry with a cheese filling(not sure what it was actually called), and some empanadas. As much as I wanted to like this place and still do, nothing blew me away, at all. The mocha dessert didn’t really taste like mocha to me. The sugary pastry with the cheese filling was good because it actually tastes like a cheesecake filling on the inside and I love cheesecake, and the pastry itself was nice and flaky, similar to a croissant. It was great, honestly, it just wasn’t my thing. It just wasn’t really what I was in the mood for at the moment, you know? Finally, I personally wasn’t a fan of the empanadas. I couldn’t even tell what the filling was — chicken, pork? It was really mushed up, which I’m not used to. Plus, my husband was the one who ordered it as I went to sit at a table with our son. Speaking of which, he was the only child there the whole time we were there, but it seemed like a nice spot to spend some time with a friend or family member and just relax. Overall, I definitely didn’t hate it, and I will definitely go back sometime, but I will definitely be trying other items next time. I love chocolate, so maybe something more along those lines will do it for me! I’d definitely recommend trying this place out, though!

I’m not from Orlando but Ive had Fortuna bookmarked for over a year eagerly anticipating an opportunity to indulge in the delicacies behind the pastry showcase. The selection here is great, from empanadas to donuts they have it. I really want to love this place but I just can’t based on what I had. I ordered two types of cake the both consisting of alternating layers of cake, fruit and frosting. I can’t quite remember the names but one had almonds and the other a strawberry paste of sorts. The frosting was great but the only negative I can say is that the layers of cake were dry and not as moist as I hoped they would be. I will go back and try something different because I know that there must be something here that I’d like. This is my kind of place because I love desserts. Today I was not impressed but maybe next time I’ll be blown away.

My boyfriend and I stopped in at Fortuna Bakery & Café on our way to Orlando’s International Airport. It is conveniently located about ten-fifteen minutes from there and offers the fast service of ordering and dining. Immediately on arrival to Fortuna, I noticed their amazing display of sweet treats. It was as if I hit a dessert jackpot, but of course it was too early for dessert. So I opted for a guava turnover and my boyfriend ordered the meat turnover. Honestly, it took us a while to decide upon the two because Fortuna’s menu is massive and their astonishing display of bake goodies makes you what everything. You can probably get everything too because prices are cheap almost dirt cheap. Our two turnovers came out to be around 3 something; a very affordable breakfast on the go. Not to mention, it was pretty darn good.
