I have heard that they have closed… that didn’t take very long. Sorry to hear about any business failing — but I could have predicted this one.

Enjoyed the Burgers ok. Tried the Guilty Pleasure burger and it was just too much food and too rich. But maybe on a real hungry day I could do it. I was a little confused about not having ketchup bottles but only packets. Place was clean. I wouldn’t steer anyone away from this place… but it’s not really a «must eat» either. When you want a decent burger, go ahead and check em out.

Sweet potato fries, best I ever had. Not a hint of sogginess. Had the west coast burger, so full of flavor! Loved it! Fries twinkes were a good way to end it :)

While on vacation in Orlando earlier this month, we stopped by Twisted Burger for lunch because it seemed to be casual and quick but also different. Our expectations were met as soon as we walked in the door. Strange, somewhat macabre murals covered the walls and the«registers» appeared to be iPads. It was clear this was not your normal mid-level burger joint. We were greeted promptly by a polite worker and our order was taken with minimal fuss. Prices were quite reasonable, very much on par with other bargains like Five Guys Burgers and Fries. As other reviewers have pointed out, it did take a while for our food to be prepared, and we went during the mid-afternoon when there were only two or three other customers in the store and no one who hadn’t already been served. I suppose one could take this as evidence that the food is cooked to order and be satisfied that you aren’t being served meat from trays or pans of water. My burger was very good. I wish I had tried the burger with pepperjack and barbecue, but I didn’t notice it until we had already ordered. The Mrs. ordered some sliders, which seemed rather bare to me, but she was satisfied, not being as hungry as I was. The fries were good and crisp, and served in a very generous portion. They were not very flavorful or unique, but they were a solid companion to a solid burger. All-in-all, I still prefer Five Guys Burgers and Fries, but Twisted Burger is worth checking out, and you may find you like the ambiance and style of this burger joint over that of its competitors.

Nothing special from my very first visit here, fried cheese balls looked and tasted like it came straight out of the freezer. Which led my boyfriend and I to wonder if anything there could be considered fresh??? The twisted salad, which sounded refreshing, was simply shredded iceberg lettuce, diced red onions, cucumber, avocado, and sliced tomatoes. The only thing on the salad that looked like it didn’t come from a pre-packaged bag was the avocado. From what I saw on the menu, the burgers sound pretty good so I will return to give them a try, but I will remind myself not to have such high expectations the second time around.

I visited this place because I had bought a Groupon for it. I’m glad I discovered it! The atmosphere was chill. They weren’t very busy when my boyfriend and I went, so we got all of the attention of the GM, who took our order. He was super friendly and very helpful with the menu since it was all new to us. Their burgers are delicious and the basket of fries was more than enough for the two of us to share! The Groupon was for $ 14 worth of food, and I only ended up paying a dollar and change more than that because my boyfriend got a drink. It’s very reasonably priced, especially for the portion sizes! I will definitely go back!

I am not a beef eater, but I loved the Portobello Veggie Burger! Go for the taste, stay for the chill atmosphere, and go back to try the fried Twinkies.

It seems like a lot of «new burger» places are starting to pop up all around town: Five Guys, Pine 20, World Famous, now Twisted Burger. I have to say, this one did not shine. First off the décor really needs some work. It looks like they moved into an already built storefront and stuck their logos everywhere. The other comment that was mentioned before is the menu. The paper menu and LCD screen do not really match. Why? lt was very difficult to read. the portabella burger was listed under«vegetable».hmmm Yes it’s a vegetable, but that was the only item listed… Anyway, I just think that they should match and be simple to read. Now onto the burger… Well we had a portabella burger and a West Cost burger(I think that was the name. something with avocado) First bite. not impressed.the meet was actually kind of hard and«gamey».not sure what the flavor was, but it seemed off. Now onto the portabella. First bite, excellent. last bite.inedible. The entire bun was soaked! The last thing we tried were the sweet potato fries. those saved the day, and is what helped them get 3 stars… With so many options out there, they need to step up their game!

First post, but long time user of Unilocal.Thought you may want to know that I had to go through the sign up process just to tell everyone that this place is not all that great. Definitely had a better burger… for instance, Johnny’s Fillin’ Station and yes even Chili’s. Beware — the«TV menu» and their«paper menu» aren’t consistent w/each other — pricewise and foodwise. Went about 1:30pm, ordered our food(«Twisted» burger w/added avocado, twisted combo(app sampler), and West Coast Burger), and waited about an hour for our food — which the West Coast Burger was completely wrong. In fact, I think the guy knew that something was wrong(since we were starving and eyeing the kitchen) and turned around, did something to the burger, and came back prior to us even telling him that it was still wrong. We weren’t the only ones receiving the poor service — the table next to us cheered loudly when they got their food. Another dude next to us finally received his HOTDOG after waving his number to the kitchen. He was there before us and we’ve waited 40 mins about this time. Ok — so aside from the very poor service we received(should have brought a book or watched a netflix movie on my phone, because magic bullet infomercials were playing on TV), we first had the twisted combo — it came w/sweet potato fries instead of regular(per the menu) which ended up to be really good. The fried pickle chips were good(my first time trying) and the fried cheese balls were good with a kick of heat. The burger(their namesake) sucked! It was such a big let down and I was STARVING! So, to wrap it up, we won’t ever return again for a mediocre burger.

I love burgers, so I thought I would give this place a try. Oops. Everything except the burger was quite good… sweet potato fries were tasty, and the spicy cheese balls were actually spicy(though the first one I had was still cold in the center). The problem is the burger. To be blunt, I’ve had theme park burgers better. The patty is oddly dense and dry. They are frozen hockey pucks. It is a shame, as the toppings for the burger all were decent. Unless you must have sweet potato fries and/or a milkshake, just go to Five Guys.

Twisted Burger is a paradox… stuck somewhere between McD’s factory-rendered concoctions and 5Guys lipoid-discs. I doubt anyone would say Twisted is a «healthy» alternative… but it IS different! I love the char only a super-hot grill can perform on mammal flesh. Twisted«steams» their burger on a grill, rendering a gray-colored patty that resembles my Auntie’s meatloaf. I ordered the Triple B($ 6.99) and the«hand-cut» FF’s. A friend ordered the Classic and sweet potato fries. My burger was huge but had what tasted like a tablespoon of ground pepper in it… all I could taste was pepper. The bun was very nice and it didn’t finish as a glob of dough. If their FF’s are«handcut», so are McD’s. The star of this show — was the sweet potato fries! After just one, I’d direct attention to something in the room… then strike — like a sweet potato bug right off my friends plate! YumfrikenO. I’ll be back.

Burgers in this country are a dime a dozen. A TWISTED burger is a quarter for a bushel. I realize this analogy has no meaning. Lets get on to the burgers… I DID enjoy these burgers. They are from $ 6 – 8 each, most of them 1⁄3 pounders or ½ pounders. I love how America has gotten too fat for the ol ¼ pounders.(Remember when that sounded like a big burger back in the day?!) So, i tried a California burger, bc i LOVE avacado. And like a previous reviewer, the avacado is near non existent. ONE thing i do love is that they do this small portion to allow all the burger elements to compliment each other and don’t take over. The same goes for the Hawaiian burger my buddy got, the pineapple was a nice thin slice to add some sweetness, without having to eat a whole pineapple with a side of burger. The BUNS are amazingly soft and delicious. The little chopped red onion and i can’t pinpoint it, but a almost vinagrette dressing sauce is what took it over the top. LOVED it. The meat is quality also. The difference between 5 guys(which i enjoy) and Twisted is that 5 guys puts mass amount of fixings to overpower you with quanitity, Twisted uses small amounts of DIFFERENT tasty fixings to help harmonize the burgers flavor. Needless to say, i finished burger(1⁄3 pound) and half order of fries and was still kinda hungry, that dissapointed me a bit. The worst part, and they would have gotten 4 stars if not for the small portion of fries we got for $ 2. They were tasty fries, but I guess hand-cut fries are rationed in this tough economy. I felt it was a midgets pinch-hand worth of fries. After a friend and i split the order(thinking of 5 guys fry portions would be given) we each left with about 5 fries. Thats about 20cents a fry. Inflation is a biatch. Also, someone mentioned how COOL it is they use ipads at the register, BUT the ipad doesn’t let you type numbers in, so your debit card is useless here! The novelty/cool factor of using ipads is stupid. Its like having a calculator with no plus sign. Get a normal register! So, Here’s the deal. GO try their burgers. They are tasty, don’t expect a big basket of fries-remember, midget pinch. And call me in the morning.

Try the fried pickles & sweet potato fries. We had the portabella burger & the guilty pleasure(I think that was the name) — a hamburger cooked inside a donut! — and shared both. both were tasty. It took a little while, but the food was delicious! great(and different) burgers!

I think Twisted Burger might struggle a bit with identity. The burgers best feature is not the twistedness, but in the quality off the meat. I tried the Twisted Burger, because I figured that was the namesake, so it must be good. I wish I had just gotten the Classic Burger so I could enjoy it au natural. And really, the twistedness of the burgers on the menu really aren’t that twisted. There was no peanut butter burger, no burger with cranberry orange sauce… I did appreciate that there was a portabello burger for the vegetarians. The french fries tasted off to me… I don’t know what kind of oil they were using, so maybe the taste come from that. I want to go back to try other things on the menu, but for a $ 6 burger, I’m hesitant. Maybe ¼ pound burgers would have been a better option that they could sell for less(the burgers on the menu are ½ or 1/3, except the Lil Twisted sliders). Summary: Slightly expensive, topping options not twisted enough for the name, but the meat on the burgers is really good and worth a try.

Burgers make me happy… This took a long time to get made but boy could I taste the time and effort, it was delicious! Now, I have to admit, not a huge 5 Guys fan and not sure why everyone compares them to burger places, they are not«the» burger spot. So, in my opinion, this place well exceeded 5 Guys. I have to say, the décor eh… sells it’s quality of food short. I went with the Twisted Burger which is a ½ version of the classic, just«pressed with cheddar cheese oozing with every bite» and that is exactly what it was, oozing with every bite, delicious. I went with the sweet potato fries and they were ok but some were not cooked all the way through, I was sad about that. Overall, it had so much flavor, did not skimp on anything and it was very memorable, making top 5 burgers on my list! And what was awesome? The staff! So nice and friendly, truly appreciative of your visit.

This place has no unique selling point. 5 Guys kills it in proportions of the burger and fries. Why choose from a pre-made burger when you can get a better one just about anywhere. It took nearly 20 minutes with one small order in front of ours(1 party of 3). Don’t bother with adding the avocado as an «extra» because there was practically non existent amount of it on my burger, the cook had to come and point where it was. This place is a joke. Mark my word… this will be the second concept to fail at this location.

I was in search of good burgers today with my boyfriend and when we saw the sign for Twisted Burger, I thought we had just hit a home run. The menu was short, concise with some interesting ‘twists’ on burgers. We placed our order and sat down… We sat some more. And some more. The milkshake my boyfriend ordered completely melted… And then we waited some more. All in all it took about 35 minutes for 2 burgers and not at the same time either. My burger came first and his followed about 5 minutes later. There were maybe 4 other tables in the restaurant. When they came out, the burgers were alright. Nothing special to be honest. 35 minutes later and $ 23 poorer(and that $ 23 is strictly burgers and drinks. no sides included), I can say I will never eat there again. I don’t mind waiting for great food or great prices, but waiting for mediocre foods and slightly pricey foods just doesn’t make sense to me.

I visited Twisted Burger for a quick lunch today and, as a vegetarian, was pleasantly surprised. Although the menu is short — in the vein of choosing one thing and doing it well — I did find multiple vegetarian options. Mingled among the burgers and hot dogs, there were also portobello«burgers,» a substantial salad and grilled cheese options. I opted for the portobello veggie burger, a grilled mushroom cap served with an assortment of fresh(still crisp!) vegetables and condiments on a bun. At $ 4.99 is was quite a bargain and seemed like it weighed two pounds(even though I know that cannot be true). The sauteed-but-not-quite-caramelized onions were a welcome feature and the burger, as a whole, had me immediately contemplating a return visit. I ordered my burger with a side of hand cut fries. The fries were well prepared but they did not translate into a «to-go» side as well as they might. The problem was not the preparation but the packaging. Served in a sealed plastic container, my fries had already begun to steam when I opened them about 5 minutes after receiving them. While I believe they were crisp coming out of the oil, they were a bit soggy, although no less flavorful, coming out of the container. Since I got my order to go, I cannot comment on table service but the counter staff was pleasant any my burger was ready in about 10 minutes. Twisted Burger fills the space most recently occupied by Pizza Fusion. I think Twisted Burger is a winner and should have staying power. Of course, I thought the same thing about Pizza Fusion. Let’s hope I am right this time!

I just got back from my first tour of duty at the new, and pretty awesome ‘Twisted Burger” over on SandLake rd. It’s tucked into that little shopping center across from Publix. You know, the one with the Moe’s, Firehouse and MoonFish, and it seems to have taken over the old Pizza Fusion storefront. It’s a kind of high traffic area, so I’d expect the place to get reasonably crowded around lunch times. As for the eatery itself and the food dispensed within, I’d have to say that I liked it and that I’ll certainly be going back. The staff was extremely interested, polite and attentive and the food came out real snappy-like. I ordered the namesake ‘Twisted Burger’ and a side of fries. The Twisted Burger itself comes on a really fluffy sort of roll and is heavily topped with vegetables and mustard. The interesting thing about it, is that it’s a half-pound sandwich and seems to be absolutely full of cheese. The patty, I guess is some blend of ground beef and brisket, so it has a sort of unique texture compared to similar sandwiches. The whole ordeal went over rather well. The menu has quite a few novel sounding burgers, including one which they deep-fry and then dust with powdered sugar. I’ve not yet tried this sandwich because, as things stand now, I’d like to go on living for a small while longer. When I’ve grown weary of life, then I shall order their decadent sleep-bringer of a hamburger. They also offer salads, fried cheese balls, sweet potato fries and if I remember correctly a couple of dessert items. Greatest among them in my memory being the fried Twinkie. Oh. And also, there were hand-spun shakes. So, you know. That’s there, if you’re down with the cow juice. Overall, it’s a pretty cool establishment. If you’re over on that side of town, you should certainly check it out. It’ll probably be a great lunch/weekend spot if crowding isn’t much of an issue. My advice would be to get in before word gets out.
