This is another go to restaurant for my family. We especially like to go on Taco Tuesdaze (2 tacos, chips, and a drink for around $ 5.50). My favorite taco is blackened chicken with Refried beans. They will add Refried or black beans to your taco at no extra charge.
They have great kids meal selection and prices.
If you order chips and queso or a trio they will refill those items for you. Give you more chips or guacamole or queso or salsa for free. I’ve heard not every location does this, but this one does.
This location on Narcoossee gets really busy at lunch time on Tuesdays so it’s best to get there early or plan on a late lunch so you’re not stuck standing in line for a long time. But you can always call your order in before you get there and skip the line. We ordered our food online and sat and ate it there when we arrived.
And they have the best dessert in the land — the Cookie Dough Flautas. OMG I could eat them every day and be a very happy woman.

The bad I ordered a burrito and after a LONG wait they finally called my name. It was barely warm. Meat was just above room temp. The outside of it was cold. It was good and had nice favor.
The place got slammed right after I ordered and didn’t feel like finding someone to fix it. Knowing it would be another long wait. About half way through the manager (didn’t get his name) asked me how it was. Told him the meat was cold, he offered to remake it but told him I would finish it. It was good just cold. He came back right as I was finishing and made my meal right with a gift card and asked me to come back and give them another chance. I will but when it is not so busy.

My faith has been restored at this location. A few weeks ago I placed a Togo order and was taken by what I think was a manager since when I came in he was wearing a polo shirt. My order was done incorrectly and he was very short on the phone and in the store. Today I did the same order, they got it right and another gentleman possibly a manager as help me out at the counter. The experience was night and day.
I order the chicken enchiladas with verde sauce, I like to add a side of queso for my chips. It works out as an appetizer for me.
For the price you really can’t beat this place, and the quality of food is good definitely a better choice to some of the fast food places in the areas. Also they have a great patio and friendly staff!

Quesadillas were awesome!!! Good prices and good food. And great customer service! If I lived locally, I’d be there once a week.

The Burritos are very good and are a great value on Thursdays. Add a star for the hot selections at the hot sauce bar. The staff is very friendly.

First experience with a TF. There’s one quite close to my place in the Tampa Bay area, but I have never been. Went for a quick lunch and was very pleasantly surpised. It is very casual. Some people had well-​behaved dogs next to them outside. There is lots of choices in hot sauces. For a simple fun lunch, I would definitely advise this location. I will likely be giving my local TF a shot soon because my experience with this one was so good.

Food is good as always. Service was slow. We had to get up and approach the counter for refills and a box for out take home stuff. I am very dissatisfied as this is the one closest to my house. I would have expected the usual run over you service but no go. What a shame. I think this one is checked off as new and not the norm, slow and non attentive.

So, we reach Orlando from the airport and starving. My brother suggested TF. I was pleasantly surprised of the overall experience. Tex-​Mex chains outside of Texas aren’t a usual go-​to for me, but I gave them a shot. The food was good, but a little on the pricey side.
I like the idea of the hot sauce bar, which offered 10 or so different flavors and spices located inside the restaurant.
The operations/​ordering part was a little frustrating for me.
To elaborate we came in the restaurant and didn’t know where the menus were. Turns out there was a stack by the register, and when we discovered this there was a long line behind us and I felt pressured to make a decision quickly without having time to explore the menu. I ended up taking the advice of the one of the local Unilocalers for the steak burrito.
Other than that I think the restaurant is nice for lunch or an early dinner.

I love coming here for Taco Tuesday but would NOT recommend using their catering services. The manager was very helpful on the phone and I was certain he had my order correct but when I opened up the box, everything was all wrong. I was very particular I wanted 20 hard and 20 soft tacos. I received 40 hard tacos instead. Very disappointing!

First things first, they only serve Beer and Sangria. Really? No margarita? not even canned?
The good: the hot sauce bar, the friendly people. The steak ANYTHING is great, well seasoned and tender. Put the steak in or on anything, it’s the best.
The bad: Tiny seating area, the taco shells are BLAND, they do not season them AT ALL. Stay away from them and head for the Chimichanga, etc.

I went to this establishment only to be greeted by pothead who happened to get this job smoking weed. I took a bite out of my burrito only to find some weed in the first bite. Suprised? No. Enjoyed? Absolutely. Completely enhanced meal.

Love this place. Been here a million times and never had a bad meal. The tacos are awesome, and Taco Tuesday is a great deal. Love the guac, chips, everything! And the service is great. They’ll give you free refills on queso and chips… Can’t beat that.

Having lived in CA for 10 years, this is not the kind of tacos and burritos I’m used to. So to be politically correct, I’m hoping this is central FL version of tacos and burritos, and not CA/​Mexican version. I think the food is okay. It definitely beats Taco Bell, but Whenever I visit this restaurant I miss CA/​Mexican tacos! Surprisingly Chipotle is the closest resemble of CA tacos. That being said, I love the services. It’s second to none. These girls work very hard without the tip. Only thing I would like to see is that if the food can be served from clean baskets…

Delicious. Visiting from Connecticut. First restaurant we visited here. The chimichangas were phenomenal. The hot sauce bar amazing. Would give 5 stars if a waiter took our order instead of ordering at register.

Often crowded, which should tell you something. They have tasty food. My wide loves their salads, and i love the tacos. Plus the option to pick two means i can get a taco and burrito. And don’t forget to smother the burrito queso. Everything in life should be «wet with queso».
Taco Tuesday is crazy. The fact that the line is out the door should indicate how good those tacos are. And don’t get me started on the sauce bar. Enjoy the names of the sauces and pay attention to the heat ratings.

People who are comparing this place to Chipotle… just stop. The burritos here are mediocre. Very fast-​food like. They’re just a little bit better than Taco Bell. This is definitely an overpriced Taco Bell. I prefer my burritos to taste fresh and refreshing with their mr ingredients. An $ 8.00 consists only shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and cheap cheese. This was an extremely disappointing experience. Chipotle is cheaper and has a lot more ingredients. The beef is GROUND beef. Ugh. That was so disappointing. Customer service was extremely nice and the girl who gave my order made sure to repeat it I make sure she got everything right. I appreciated that, but the food did not my expectations. Go to Chilito Green Express on off the 528 exit Semoran instead for genuinely tasty burritos.

I am a weekly regular for Tijuana Tuesdaze where you get two tacos, chips, and a soft drink for $ 5.40+tax. Each taco is easily customized to your preferences and if you wanted to split the meal with a friend, they will put each taco in its own tray, each with chips.
This location is always pretty busy on Tuesdays for lunch, which makes for a great, lively atmosphere. You just have to snag your table at the right time or order online ahead of time.
The staff are super helpful and on top of things refilling your chips and dip, and drinks really quickly and are happy to do so! I love when the manager comes around and checks on each table to see how we are doing and get us refills.
A few of my favorite items on the menu are the Bangin’ Chicken Tostadas, Blackened Chicken Flautas, and Cookie Dough Flautas.

First time at Tijuana Flats and I was not overly impressed with the quality of my Steak Tacos. For $ 10.00, I was expecting much more than what I got. Two oversized crunchy tacos with steak and all the toppings except jalapeño, not much to rave about. My order was to go and the service I received was fast and efficient and this is the only reason I gave my review 3 stars. I don’t really see a big difference between these tacos and the ones I get at Taco Bell.

I wish this place had more seating. If you come here on a Tuesday, try to arrive before 11:30 or after 1. Between those times, you’ll likely be sitting outside. And for good reason. The tacos are really that good. I also like the guacamole and queso sauce. The best way to enjoy the queso is to stir in some of the hottest sauce from the bar. It gives it great flavor.
If dining in, try giving your name and where you’re sitting. That will give the server an idea of where to find you. The food is served kind of lukewarm to begin with. I hate the idea of my food going cold while my server searches for me.
If not for the seating and food temperature issues I’d give this place 5 stars.
