Staples the Office Superstore

You can create your own design, place an order online, and pick it up in the store. How convenient is that? I ended up calling ahead to make sure this really worked. The associate even recommended the paper size and stuff based on resolution of the picture and the current sale prices!
Great customer service. That «loud mouth clown» mentioned in another review actually cracks me up. I dunno — maybe you have to be in the right mood to deal with him.

This store is Awesome on service! Left Office Depot because they did not have what we needed in stock. Staples not only had what we needed, Aria, the service rep remembered my name from when she worked at OfficeMax. She called myname, greeted with hello, asked what I needed, called for help and the stock employee was waiting for us at the end of aisle six waving with a smile!!! I may have to convert to Staples!!!

The workers in this store are extremely rude (even the supervisors), and incredibly slow. It takes forever to get help or get rung up. I love Staples but I can’t stand this store, I’m just going to have everything delivered or drive farther to a different location from now on.

So you buy a brand new HP printer and then when you get home find that you also need a $ 25 usb lead that isn’t supplied although is absolutely essential to set up the printer — surely someone should have told me this when I was checking out.
Otherwise primer seems inexpensive and store was fine.

Good store for office supplies.
There are other advantages:
1. hardly anybody there, so service is relatively fast
2. they take UPS returns. Just walk in and drop off the packages
3. secure shredding service. I just shredded a whole stack of stuff that would have killed my home shredder
Finally, there’s this one guy who works there who is hilarious. He usually works the register near the front doors. You’ll know him when you see/​hear him. =)

The copy center always has my order waiting for me and always turns my order around with minimal time. This is my «go to» place for all office suplies.

Cashier/​sales associate Tony, with the curly short hair, lacked any customer service and was just very unplesant. I go there often for work supplies and by far that was the worst experience there.

Four stars instead of three, solely because I enjoy the exuberant «WELCOME TO STAPLES!» greeting from that guy who’s working here more often than not, much more so than the soul-​sucking nothingness that typically greets me at any other big box office retailer in town. For the most part it is your standard office supply store with your standard office supply inventory and pricing, with an upgrade over some office supply stores in that you can also utilize UPS mailing here.

I have always been attracted to Staples. I’m sure it has nothing to do with their great customer service. Went in the other day to buy some clips and label making tape. I was able to locate the clips, no problem. I could not find the tape. I spoke with one of the employees and he did not tell me where it was… he took me there. When we got to where the tape was, the display was empty. The young man informed me that they had received a truck earlier that day and would go and locate it.
My label tape was not an emergency, so I did not need it right away, but I sincerely appreciate the effort he was willing to put into it to provide some great customer service.
To all you other office supply store… customer service is where it’s at!!!

Surprisingly great customer service! It is a pleasure to shop at a place that actually values my business, even though it’s a big corporate giant. Well stocked, clean, friendly!

The gist: It’s a place where you buy all of your business supplies and I’m in here a great deal. I also have great luck with the people that work there and have yet to have an item on my shopping list that they don’t have.
It’s a fairly large store and I’m one of those grumpy people that likes to shop for my office supplies in the morning. Normally while wearing sunglasses, drinking a coffee, and wanting to be left alone. I like the people at this store because they will ask you one time if you need any help and if you happen to grumble «No thank you. I’m just picking up a few things.» they’ll go about what they were doing and leave you alone. This is SUPER important to me. Its like when you get that one waiter that just won’t shut up. Stop being so happy and let me shop. I’m a grown adult and I’m capable of picking out which three refills I need of over priced printer ink. Thank you ever so much for not hovering and allowing me to wander and walk around your store without the constant need for me to be helped by you. We are all adults here and lets face it; it’s office supplies. No one wants them but we need them to make money and to work. It’s like a «necessary evil» shop and I like this one a lot.
Great store with great employees that handle themselves the correct way. I will continue to go there.

Staples offers a lot of retail items and services, but the price is just so jacked up on many items. I found things that were considerably cheaper at FedEx Office and Office Depot.
The service was great, however. Our cashier was friendly, and the store was very clean and organized.

Right after church, my wife sprang on me yesterday’s Staples ad, which featured a Kodak 14 mp «Slice» touch screen digital camera for $ 99 ($ 200 off — oooh!!) So off we went even before lunch to get this bar-​gooon, «before they’re ALL GONE», she preached, with fire and brimstone in her eyes. While there, we succumbed to picking up a few items that were «free after rebate» — stuff we don’t need really, but it would appear that, even right after Sunday Service, we discovered we haven’t greed-​proofed our psyche and soul. What hurts the most? The sermon was EXACTLY on the subject of Christians needing to guard against acquiring too much «stuff». Ouch! Moving along… on a POSITIVE note (and niftily shifting focus from the sinful ways of Adam and Eve here): the Staples staff were all knowledgeable and helpful. I’m not one to talk up the big «evil» big box stores — indeed, this is the first time I’ve reviewed a BB of any kind; so it’s at risk of furnishing definitive proof that I’ve sold my soul, that I commend Staples for the super easy rebate process. Seriously: all you need to do is keep the receipt, fire up the computer, go to their site, and in less than 5 min., it was done. Of course we have to wait 4 – 6 weeks, but no licking envelopes or stamps, or making messy copies — the process was lean and GREEN! Kudos, Staples — that WAS easy.

I have only been into this store a couple times but I have to say that it is a large store and seam to have anything I am looking for at the time. They keep the place clean, and the people are always nice.

Outstanding Customer Service!
No matter what time of day or day of the week I stop in, the Staples staff is always professional, efficient, and more than willing to go out of their way to help.
After spending several weeks recently, exploring business card options online, and finding out that quick delivery would cost more than the cards themselves, I decided to check out the local choices. Within minutes of walking into Staples, Maria was giving me the 411 on types, styles, and costs. Her suggestion: go to
, create my new biz card and upload the draft to the store.
Following her advice, I had business cards created at home, on my computer, in about an hour, and picking them up at the store was even quicker. Approve the draft, and they are printed on the spot. How’s that for fast and reliable? My cards came out beautifully, and I’ve gotten lots of compliments on them.
However, I believe the compliments should go to the Staples, East Colonial staff, who are exceptional.
