Glad we found this hidden gem. Great food and great service. You can tell it is family owned or so I believe. It is small and quite. Great prices and glad to know they deliver as well I want to go back and try the breakfast. Will be going back for sure.

As good as it gets when it comes to authentic Spanish food and an unbeatable price. The restaurant was clean and the food was amazing. I had the ½ chicken lunch special which came with 2 sides — under $ 8. Walked out full as full can be and didn’t even finish my bird. The group that I eat with had a little of everything and everyone was satisfied with the experience. They have many authentic dishes and also carry sodas and drinks that you do not see every place. I will going back at on a regular basis with food this good. I will keep you posted when I go back for the cuban sub.

Ate here to avoid getting back into traffic and the recommendation of a business next door. Lunch specials served all day. I got ¼ chicken which was moist with excellent seasoning. Hubby ordered the smothered steak, 3 good sized pieces cooked in Spanish salsa which practically fell apart. Tender yellow rice and beans, which unlike another review were plenty warm. The highlight of our meal had to be the sweet plantains. Yum! Could’ve easily split a meal. The owner is the cook and shows pride in his product, service was excellent. Just a little hole in the wall, but exactly the kind of place we look for on vacation. All for under $ 15 for two. Minus one star because like most places the music is just too loud for us old folks.

My first visit and I must say the food we had was great. The yellow rice was perfect, plantains were huge, crispy and cooked perfectly. The chicharrones of chicken had a tasty flavor, but I had a side of red beans that just did not impress me — a bit cold and bland. Now we also had mofongo with octopus. octopus is my favorite and not all can cook it right, except for this place! Oh My Gosh!!! amazing! I could have eaten a bowl of that stuff. In each bite you tasted all the flavors of the ingredients. The mofongo was incredibly moist — perfect combo. With only 3 customers in the place the service was very slow. I would hope during the week service is better. Overall it was an excellent Spanish meal.

We came for the grand opening and we were not that impressed. It started out pretty good, although the tables were lind of small(there were 4 of us). We got an appetizer(I think it was fried plantains/tostones Fritos, but I’m not 100% sure since I didn’t order them… I posted a picture though) and they were good. Then when my main dish came(chicken mofongo with garlic butter) I wasn’t that pleased. I do not normally send food back so I ate it. It had too much butter and that’s all I could taste. I’ve had mofongo in Puerto Rico once before so I am comparing it to that. I do not believe it should have had so much butter. My plate came with a small salad on the dish but no dressing, oh well. Then we had dessert which I wasn’t happy with mine. It could have been me(I take medicine for migraines which can alter the way food taste) so I won’t hold that against them. But my dad had a hair on his plate. They gave him his dessert for free, but my dad probably won’t be returning. I am only visiting Orlando so I won’t have a chance to. Overall, bad first impression. Since they are a new business I wish them good luck and hopefully they can work the kinks out.
