food is alright but customer service is bad when my boyfriend and I go through the drive thru they were just basically trying to get to the next customer not caring what we were asking on what sauce we wanted just basically saying yea yea yea…

Good food, but this unit is especially slow and unorganized. After 40 minutes from the time I paid for it, I am still waiting for my order– tropic hop bowl! Not the most complicated thing to make for sure. Drive past this place!!!

Absolutely filthy location! We arrived right at open, the restrooms were disgusting, dining room unclean and the sauces were not fresh they tasted old/​stale! We will never return to this location again.

So dirty! I had a bad feeling as soon as I pulled into a parking space. There was garbage all in the space, but didn’t think much of it. When we walked in the line was long. As I waited, my gf used the bathroom. She came out and told me how dirty it was. The longer we waited, the more we saw. We thought about leaving and should have! The floor was sticky, most tables had mountains of dirty dishes, and the condiment bar looked like it hadn’t been attended to in quite a while.
Once we ordered, my gf grabbed a table. Dirty of course, but no dirty dishes like so many others. I stopped by the condiment bar where it was covered in spills and most items were close to running out.
As we waited, we noticed that there didn’t seem to be a dedicated person to just running food or just cleaning. One woman would run food, then start the bar… which left our food sitting on the counter. While another half heartedly cleaned tables. I watched one man eat his entire meal next to a huge pile of dirty dishes. When he was finished, the guy finally came over and asked if they were all his dishes.
The food tasted fine when we did get it, but we both got upset stomachs as soon as we left. So I wouldn’t be shocked if the kitchen is kept like the dinning room.
Skip this location and visit another. I love Pollo Tropical, but won’t go back to this location unless management makes changes.

So I decided to stop by for a quick lunch with my girlfriend. As we walked in the line was super long. I went in the restroom and OMG it was soooooooo dirty! I was already disappointed. Nonetheless we decided to still stay. We ordered our food and as I went to look for somewhere to sit all of the tables were dirty with plates and garbage. I can understand one table but it was every empty table even the trash was piled. I was so disgusted, as we waited for our food which OK forever a guy came to pick up the dirty dishes by the trash. He was slamming them into a bin like he was so unhappy to do his job. Needless to say we ate fast and left. Never again!!! If you are reading this trust me leave before you make the same mistake. Oh and we both had a ver bad tummy ache after eating here.

My first time here was about a year ago and it was a bad experience. I can’t recall why it was, but I just remembered I didn’t want to go back. Anyways, I went back again recently and here’s what I have to say to justify the 1 star.
Let me start by saying within seconds after getting our food from the drive-​thru, our order was completely messed up. That was an easy fix though as all I had to do was go inside and show the manager my receipt. After that, I found out they ran out of hot sauce AND curry mustard, the only two sauce I ever get. When inside, I also noticed the area where you would get the sauces from was a complete mess.
We ordered 4 mojo pork tropi-​chops and 1 half chicken with mashed potatoes and waffle fries. When we got home, we discovered that the pork was extremely salty to the point where it was no longer edible. I’m not sure exactly how that happened but they don’t normally taste that way! We ended up throwing away all 4 of the tropi-​chops. Thankfully the half chicken was finger lickin’ good as per usual.
Overall, my friends and I will never go back to this location. However, that’s not to say we won’t ever go back to Pollo tropical because we absolutely will. I’ve personally never had issues with any other Pollo tropical besides this one. My typical meal here is a half chicken with waffle fries and mashed potatoes. I would recommend that to anyone!

This place is so dirty you can’t even eat. If you drive by keep it rollin it’s too dirty to have anything to eat here place is a mess and it’s actually 10 o’clock in the evening I can’t believe how dirty it is

Filthy location– We love Pollo Tropical and visit a location closer to us on a regular basis, but this was by far the dirtiest, stickiest, grosses location I have ever been to and I highly suggest the management do a spring clean on both the building and potentially the employees who are letting down all of the customers who come through here.
The woman taking care of the soda and sauce station had every cabinet open revealing how filthy it was under the cabinet, sauces were empty and gross looking. soda was spilled all over the floor, the Lids, and the counters. Boxes to refill everything were on the table (noon-​lunchtime) and sprawled on every area inconveniencing the crowd that was coming through. Food was cold. And the staff was not very friendly. Highly disappointed.

Where do I begin? How about i start where this pollo tropical location motivated me to start a Unilocal account to submit my first ever review of anything! Ive used this app for YEARS but never had an experience bad enough to actually say something pubicly… heh publicly. PUN INTENDED
I love pollo trop. I frequent it actually. Even horrible locations that seemingly always get my order wrong or insult me with tones of voice or dirty looks.
This location is TERRIBLE! The manager needs fired asap, and possibly some of the staff along with him. My order has been wrong 4 out of 5 of my last visits. But as i said, i love pollo and can deal with a mistake here and there. NEVER AGAIN.
I ordered a chicken breast meal with white rice, black beans, mash potatoes with the meat well done. It usually comes with a roll and a small salad, but these two items are frequently forgotten at lots of locations so i usually remind them/​dont bother them if they are busy.
I recieved 2 undercooked breasts with no salad, no roll, NO RICE, and corn (?) But heres the kick… A HUGE FRICKING PUBIC STYLE HAIR SMEARED ACROSS THE TOP OF MY CHICKEN IN PLAIN SIGHT! The horror and insult still stain my eyes.
They will know who i am, they will know why i will never eat at this location ever again, and i will be as nice as i can when i tell them how bad they are at their JOB. But Unilocal will get the brunt of my frustration so they should be thankful for this wonderful app that makes them look so terrible.

The food is good but the service is horrible. Drive thru lady had an attitude, the people working didn’t really seem to Happy to be there. Every time Ive attempted to order from here they are out of something that I want. I’ve given it three tries and at this point I’m ready to cut my losses. My advice is go inside don’t take your chances at the drive thru.

Love the simple but very delicious Menu. I most of the time get the quarter chicken with black beans and white rice.

If I could give a zero star I would. Let me start by saying that this review is for this particular location. I ate at a different location and it was wonderful.
We waited over 45 minutes to order and get our food. The food here was not flavored well. Half of our order was missing and we had to remind them. They gave us our plaintans charred black burnt. We sent it back and 10 minutes later they presented us with another order that was even worse and more burnt.
I love pollo tropical but will NEVER visit this particular location again.

The food taste good but the service is HORRIBLE. The people running the drive thru always get my order wrong and they seem to not listen to a word I say. I have to repeat my order more than once and it’s still wrong. Good place for a quick bite to eat, but be ready to deal with people who hate their job.

I will never go back it was terrible service. She repeated my order to me correctly but it had no lettuce & no tomatoes on it, but it did have the onions & way too many! I was very disappointed.

This place was decent. Good for a quick bite. They give you a lot of chicken and it’s pretty tasty. The customer service was average as well. Everything about this place is mediocre. The sides were nice, but I dislike that they mixed some of my corn with the mashed potatoes. Overall, this place is just average.

The food is usually pretty good but the service is terrible. The girl running the window during lunch today seemed to hate her life, got my order wrong and when I asked for sauce, I got 3 containers with barely anything in them (not even enough to fill 1 to the top). The poor service seems to be a common theme with the Orlando area locations.

Got food poisoning and was sick for quite a few days as their service is ridiculously slow

The food quality went down tremendously. Was in the area and needed something quick but semi healthy to eat. Got the family meal as I was with my family. They didn’t fill the sides a the way only half way and the chicken, there was barely any meat on there
Don’t think i would return on my own

We were visiting the Holy Land Experience in Orlando and stepped out to enjoy lunch nearby. We found Pollo Tropical and were SO impressed! Not only was the food really good, the staff was AWESOME!
For fast food, I was impressed with how healthy their menu is. Their chicken Caesar salad had HUGE chunks of delicious chicken. My husband loved his chicken & beans dish, too. The staff kept checking on us and making sure that we were happy. I also saw them interact kindly with each other and having fun.
It was a very pleasant experience. We intend to visit Pollo Tropical again.

I hate everything about this place from the pitiful customer service, to the repulsive attempt at what they call food.
I really want to like it because it reminds me of a place back in Los Angeles called Pollo Loco. But it’s nothing like that place, no matter how hard I pray for it to be.
