Great food and ambiance! Long long wait for food during that night dinner service though. Parking wasn’t easy in the area but we found some on the side street. Made it just in time to order a happy hour priced cocktail. Their cocktail list was great and drinks were all good. Food was really good and we were extremely happy across the board with our various dishes. The ambiance was my favorite part. Very warm atmosphere with other friendly patrons.

I ate at rusteak for the second time today and the food is amazing. The last time I was here my fiancé and I split the burger. It was so juicy and flavorful and HUGE! Def enough for sharing. Today for lunch I had the forager flatbread. Again, another large meal but all the flavors were fantastic with the mushrooms, onion, tomatoes, almonds, arugula, goat cheese and balsamic glaze(can you ever go wrong with goat cheese and balsamic glaze?!). I took half my flatbread home, which did not hold up well at all so if your going to order it be sure to share or finish it! Definitely will be returning Update 2⁄13: we will keep coming back for more! Ate dinner Saturday night and had the cheese board, mushroom and Brie soup(OMG) and flat iron steak. The cocktails are so dang good. I don’t even like gin and I ordered the strawberry gin jam the last two times I’ve been here. Holy cow yum! And my fiancé always gets the black cherry old fashioned. Everything deliscus!

Good burger and fig flatbread came out crispy, hot and delicious. The mushroom soup was very tasty. For what is served, I feel their prices are high. Excellent service without being pushy. Nice to be able to eat inside or out on a nice day like today

I have had this place a few times now to-go for lunch and it is always delicious every time. I usually get a flatbread, all of them are great. the southern gent is by far my favorite salad in all of Orlando!(sorry se7en bites turkey cobb, you’re only the best when you’re on special) Last night I finally had a chance to go for dinner with my boyfriend and we were not disappointed! he ordered the crabby steak, the steak was an actual medium like he had asked for and the rest of the plate was just as good. however as good as his was, my meal was the real shining star. the scallop ratatouille is probably the best tasting meal I’ve had ever. we decided we’d like to bring everyone we know here just so they can try it too! the prices are a little on the higher side but the food is so worth it!

Great Place for Lunch, Dinner or Drinks. I have been here several times but our last trip was with a group of 6 people. We arrived without reservations but the staff seemed eager to accommodate our group. We were placed at a smaller table where we were going to have to squeeze two people in on the end/side of the table. We sat and were attempting to adjust and make things work when the manager approached us and asked if we would prefer to move to a location where she could push two tables together. We accepted and it was definitely a much better option than originally offered. We placed our order and the food arrived very quickly. I had the sweet potato gnocchi and it was so savory and delicious. Our group of 6 ordered a wide range of foods from pasta and fish to steak and burgers. Everything was fantastic. The deserts looked wonderful but we were all so full from our meals that we had to pass on deserts. To sum up. Great Service, Excellent Food and good price. Certainly someplace you should try next time you are nearby.

This was my second time dining at RusTeak. I went a few weeks prior and was impressed; so I figured the second time should be the same or better. They didn’t disappoint. I met a friend for her birthday. The décor and atmosphere is cool with a chill kind of vibe. Since it was happy hour and all the cocktails are $ 5, I had the Strawberry Gin Jam, it tasted like strawberry lemonade; which was refreshing. For my entrée I had the 55th Street. It’s a hot pastrami sandwich with coleslaw, mustard and havarti cheese and a side of bistro fries. Delicious!!! The serving size was enough for sharing. Our server, Mike, was very accommodating and friendly. Thanks Mike! He checked on us regularly by making sure our water glasses stayed full and any other request were taken care of and questions answered. My reason for giving four stars is the parking situation. Not very accommodating. I think that’s an issue in the College Park area. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I’m looking forward to tasting many other dishes from RusTeak.

I’ve always enjoyed Teak… RusTeak is their fancier brother and I sure enjoyed it just as well but for entirely different reasons. I took my BF here for a birthday lunch and we sat outside — it was a pleasant enough day and seemed a little quieter so we could chat. Our first server brought us water with cucumbers. As simple as this is — I love when restaurants give it a little twist of something other than lemon.(Easily impressed maybe… Guilty!). Their menu is a little tough for someone who doesn’t eat bacon(crazy I know) but he ordered their Turkado which was HUGE and full of shaved turkey, with a side of their scallop oozy goozy cheese potatoes. I opted for the lighter side of the Fall Harvest salad but we shared the bistro fries(it’s a balance like Big Macs & Diet Coke). I read from my fellow Unilocalers the fries were a must have. Rosemary and Parmesan shoestrings with a homemade ketchup oh my! Now to the salad… The salmon was not only large, well seasoned but was cooked perfectly medium. I a a sucker for butter beans, butternut squash — yes butter me up. What was even more amazing was the dressing — spice maple vinaigrette. Best fall salad hands down! I agree with other reviews that while having two servers could be perceived a good thing, we had one chipper, friendly server and one who clearly wasn’t feeling her job that day. It was like having a split personality serving you. I will be back for dinner — the entrees sound fantastic!

I was long overdue for a visit to this place since I moved to the Dubsdread area. Always looks so inviting as you drive down Edgwater. We went here for a date night and were instantly smitten with our decision. The ambiance of the whole place is dark, almost southern industrial if thats even a thing. We opted to sit outside since it was a nice night out and got there for their famed happy hour. $ 5 signature cocktails, wine by the glass and select appetizers(hummus trio, pretzel bites, or caprese). From 4pm — 7pm every. single. day. Go before 6pm. We went on a Wednesday around 5:50 and we just nearly missed the rush. which was a wait by the time 6:30 rolled around. I started off with the Apricot Negroni and it was pleasant, until the egg whites kicked in. Then thats all I smelt the remainder of the drink. I later got the Black Cherry Old Fashion and it easily made up for that first drink. To start we got the Autumn Edamame — tossed in olive oil and smashed garlic, sprinkled with toasted pumpkin seeds, and dusted with parmesan cheese. Really good, and ate all of it, including the vast amount of pumpkin seeds. For my meal I got the Iron Age sandwich. Holy cow was this thing flavorful. The garlic brioche bun was spectacular and one of the best I’ve had to date. The steak itself was cooked perfectly, but I got a cut of meat that had a large tendon going down the middle, making it a chore to bite through(and eventually dismantling my sandwich to get at the good parts.) But holy cow, the maple-pepper bacon mayo… I have no words, it was aioli crack in my books. For the side I chose the maple bacon brussel sprouts. which I was told was their favorite and signature side, and I agree with this! Service was spot on with a main server, a backwaiter(or foodrunner, whichever you prefer to call it), and a water refiller /busser. Great date night, will be back for sure and I can’t wait to sample some more of their plates with a larger group(yea… I’m that guy.)

Fantastic date night spot. I’ve been dying to try this spot ever since moving so close to College Park. The overall area is adorable and it’s pretty tough picking out a spot to eat. They all look so good! My boyfriend and I went for their happy hour($ 5 signature cocktails and apps). I loved their Ice Wine Martini, which had vodka and elderflower liquor. So good! I wasn’t too keen on the Pear and Thyme Shrub martini as it was a bit too sweet for my taste. My boyfriend tried the black cherry old fashioned, which he said was excellent. We ordered the edamame for the starter and it was very good. It has roasted smashed garlic and toasted pumpkin seeds. Yum! I do wish it had some more salt because once the parmesan topping came off, the flavor lacked just a bit. For my entrée, I did the sweet potato gnocchi with a side of the broccolini. The broccolini portion was huge and for $ 5 did not disappoint. I loved the flavors of the gnocchi but the morsels were SO big! It was probably 5 – 6 times the size of what you’d normally expect. I think if they were smaller, then you would get more flavor on each bite. The sauce was fantastic, though! We both said we’d be back to try more of the food and drinks. Yay, Rusteak!

This is my favorite restaurant for lunch & dinner in College Park(Christo’s has my heart for breakfast) and out of the four times I’ve visited, each visit has been better and better. The service is always attentive but not overbearing, the servers are also knowledgeable and nice. Their burgers are phenomenal! I’m obsessed with the Kobe Burger but am also enamored by the PBLT… Pork Belly Lettuce Tomato. So.freaking.good. Our friend had the pumpkin gnocchi appetizer as her entrée and she loved it! I would’ve asked for a bite but it was gone rather quickly lol. Just a tip, get the French fries! They’re heavenly, tossed in a seasoning with herbs and garlic. Never missing out on those on our next stops in! I’m a little nervous to be moving walking distance to this gem in a couple of months!

I’ve only had salads and edamame here and I love them. The current edamame is roasted garlic with parm and pumpkin seeds and it is freaking delicious. I had a hard time not eating the entire bowl and saving some for my BF. I’ve had the Almond Crusted Scallop salad 3x now and it’s really delicious. I always look at the portion when it comes out and am a little sad but am always filled up by the end and not too full. I’ve had the Fall Harvest salad recently and enjoyed it as well. It tastes much healthier than the other and is also a good portion size. My BF loved his burger when I took him here recently as well. Their prices are comparable to other places I enjoy and I love College Park so this is definitely on my list of top places to eat out at this point. I’ve not been blown away by service but it’s also not been bad. Honestly all the times I went we were talking a lot so the server probably had a hard time finding chances to speak to us. Lol

While in College Park for Jazzfest, we decided to grab a bite to eat at RusTeak before getting settled in for a night of Jazz. We have been meaning to come here for a while and Jazzfest gave us a reason to be in the area. We were greeted by the hostess and asked to be seated at the bar. After a little confusion, we were taken to the bar area. After she left we found seats closer to the window and the bartender handed us menus and took our drink orders. Corona with lime for the boss and unsweet tea with lime for me. Mama was in an indecisive mood so I steered her towards a favorite of hers, The Blackened Mahi Tacos. I eyed up the John Deer because it has been ages since I have had a good venison burger. She wanted to try their chips and I elected to get the fries. I know she likes her Mussels so I ordered them to start us off. When the mussels arrived, it was apparent that they give you your money’s worth here. Stacked high and topped with bread with a ton of broth. I am not usually a big fan of mussels BUT I think I ate more of them than she did. That bread was perfect for the broth. After I ran out of bread I took the remaining mussels out of the shell and had mussel soup. I am officially a mussel lover! The rest of our food arrives and all we could do was say WOW. I have never seen so many fries and chips piled on plates as they were on ours and the burger and tacos were picture perfect. I had to try one of thiose potato chips on her plate. FAIRWARNING, they are addicting but just a wee bit too salty! The fries were good but I honestly prefer them a wee bit crispier and thicker but that is my personal preference. The flavor was great and that homemade catsup was a whole lot better than Heinz. The blackening on the Mahi was good and that sauce to top the tacos with was stellar. I started with a bite and ended up eating one of her tacos. MYBAD… The John Deer burger was fantastic. The bartender was spot on to recommend having it medium because of how lean venison is. That was appreciated. My ONLY complaint about the burger was it was so good that I ended up with cold fries because I ate the entire burger first. How dare you put such a great burger on my plate and force me to eat cold fries chef… WINK Service — 4 Presentation — 5 Atmosphere — 5 Mussels — 5 Chips — 4 Fries — 4 Blackened Mahi Tacos — 5 Jojhn Deer Burger — 5 Overall it was a great first trip and we will definitely be coming back. We saw a few of the other guests plates that looked incredible even when full. They even have a nice patio area that we’ll definitely take advantage of now that the weather is starting to cool down a bit.

I finally made my way out to Rusteak recently and I was so surprised by the quality of the food and service. The location is nice with a back lot of(really small) parking spaces. They have a great patio, spacious interior, and a nice private room for events. The menu is varied with salads, sandwiches, flatbreads, burgers, and entrées. There are not a ton of vegetarian options(nothing that I know of is vegan), but everything I’ve ordered has been great. Happy hour is where it’s at. Happy hour EVERYDAY with specials on appetizers and $ 5 specialty cocktails and wine. I’m SOLD. The drink options are inventive and tasty– did someone say Smoked Watermelon Margarita? YES! I am a big fan of the Forager flatbread and the tofu and quinoa burger. Not only do they have great entrées, but they have killer sides! Bistro fries, sweet potato tots, bacon maple roasted Brussels sprouts. Yes, please! And my friends, save room for dessert because Rusteak has a version of a cronut that is out of this world. On both of my visits we received excellent service. No drink was left empty and our server was very thoughtful with dietary selections. When my date ordered the veggie burger without cheese, he made a point to make sure we knew it was made with egg just in case that would be a problem. Thank you! It’s a great place for a nice, reasonably priced dinner, and killer cocktails. Should absolutely stop by for happy hour!

For this update to my last review, RusTeak maintains its four star rating. It seems that the cocktails were better this time than last time, which was nice — and like last time, we showed up at happy hour so they were $ 5 each. We were here for the Bite30 menu, a yearly«30-day restaurant week» in June by the Orlando Weekly(see: ). We had to ask to see the special menu because they weren’t telling anyone about it. Well, whatever. We ended up trying the shrimp fritters and pan-roasted mussels appetizers. Both were amazing. The shrimp fritters had a little crunch on the outside and were soft in the middle, and they were just delicious. They came with a wonderful aioli and a honey and mustard seed sauce for dipping. The sauces were both very good. The pan roasted mussels were just… jaw droppingly good. The broth was intensely flavorful and every last bit of the grilled focaccia on the side was reserved for mopping it up. It was such a great start to the meal. Unfortunately, the shrimp risotto main course didn’t hold up to the high bar set by the appetizers. It was so over-salted that my mouth was actually puckering part way in. Had they used a normal, non-lethal dose of sodium, the flavor would have been great. At least, it seems like it would have been great. It was hard to taste beyond the salt. Then going in the other direction was the super sweetness of the Ultimate Cronie. Actually, on its own with the ice cream it would have been unbelievable, but with all of that syrup that it was swimming in, it was just too much. I still finished it though, so it wasn’t all bad.

Holy Moly! It really doesn’t get any better then this! During a recent trip to Orlando I was able to eat at this AWESOME restaurant. From the first step in it was first class all the way. We were there for an early dinner so it wasn’t very busy. The hostess was extremely friendly. We chose to sit on the patio even though it was a very hot day. The fans and shade on the patio made this a great choice! They serve their water with a slice of cucumber in it! Super refreshing! From our appetizer to our main dish ~ the food was fresh and fantastic! I was very impressed by their wine list. Not only was it robust, it was priced right! I had the Petite Sirah which I would highly recommend!

A couple of girl friends and I headed over to RusTeak for dinner. Let me tell you! This place was a buzz! The décor is modern and chic, very much a College Park vibe. It’s a small space so once it fills up, the volume is loud. I was having a hard time carrying on a conversation. That being said, service was impeccable. Our waitress was very kind and patient. I had the blackened fish tacos with the brussels sprouts. The fish was perfectly cooked but when I see blackened as the dish description I expect a nice coating of spice. The fish had dusting on them, making the taco as a whole under seasoned. However, our waitress brought out a dish of the seasoning when I asked if I could add more. Props to the kitchen for accommodating! This definitely improved the fish dish. For the side dish, I loved the sweetness of the brussels sprouts. They get a bad rep but boy, these were tasty! I want to try their hamburgers and partly wish I had just ordered that instead of the tacos but it just means I get to go back!

We chose a table outside to enjoy the beautiful March afternoon weather. We were hungry and ready to dig into the menu. We asked lots of questions and our server was very knowledgeable which to me was a good sign that this was a restaurant that knew what it was doing. We started by splitting the Strawberry-Rosemary Scallops Mini appetizer. Three pan seared scallops were served on grilled brioche with a tomato, lettuce and citrus mayo. The bread was also smeared with a strawberry-rosemary shrub compote.(A shrub is a acidic fruity liquor) They were tall though very basic. The scallops were quite large but it was hard to taste the strawberry spread. The menu also stated the scallops were served on brioche toast points but I think we all agreed it was regular brioche bread. My first foodie friend ordered the Lobster Roll. The lobster was mixed with a creamy herb citrus sauce and served on a toasted brioche roll. She seemed to have enjoyed it and the bistro fries it was served with were nicely seasoned and crisp. My other friend ordered the PBLT — seared pork belly served with maple-pepper bacon, lettuce and tomato on garlic brioche. I have to admit that I did not try this dish though my friend certainly liked it. Pork belly has become such a trendy thing and if I ate meat this would have been something I would have wanted to order myself. I had The Farmhouse Burger — the veggie burger(I am always looking for that perfect veggie burger!) The veggie patty is house made with red quinoa, shitake mushroom and tofu served with provolone cheese, lettuce and tomato and topped with a garlic-chive aioli. I liked this burger. It wasn’t too dry or crumbly– a common occurrence for most veggie burgers. It was crisp and hearty. Filled me up pretty quickly. I ordered the Maple Brussels Sprouts as my side. Usually the dish is served with bacon but since everything was made to order it was easy for the kitchen to leave the bacon out. I am huge fan of Brussels sprouts– in any form. These were cooked nicely with a slight hint of a maple flavor. The three of us also ordered a fourth entrée to split– the Priestly Pasta. Strozzapreti(long cavatelli) pasta with asparagus, tomatoes and spinach tossed in a sun-dried tomato and pesto cream topped with pecorino cheese and toasted pistachios. Of the dishes I tried(everything but the PBLT) this was my least favorite. I thought the pasta was slightly on the dry side and was missing something. What it was missing I am not sure but something. Finally, for dessert we jumped into the Cronut with ice cream dessert. The cronut was the real thing– airy and light with lots of layers. I am glad I only had a small bite as it would have been so easy to eat the entire thing! I thought the food was delicious and the atmosphere was quaint. A nice place for a romantic dinner, a business lunch or a get together with friends. Certainly a place I will not wait long to visit again. There is also a second location in Ocoee
