Wowza! After the five hour trek from south Florida to get here we were road weary and feeling like dinner and drinks were the way to fix that little problem. We amble in and discovered we literally have the entire restaurant to ourselves since it’s 5:30 and rather early for dinner. We were warmly greeted and before I knew it I had a Hendricks and tonic with a twist of lime in my hand. We ordered the beef carpaccio, I ordered the lobster risotto, the other half got the pepperoni/meaty sausage/I love meat pizza… We were told the dishes there were larger portions meant for sharing… So we didn’t get crazy with ordering. I finished my cocktail in time to order a glass of wine before dinner… Here’s where my peeves start to add up: there was lipstick on the water glass that was on the table for my use.(In a high end restaurant I should hope people are checking these things.) I got my own clean glass from another table. Our server was very busy chatting with colleagues. He took away the wine list before asking if I wanted anything with dinner. So I ultimately had to ask him. The beef carpaccio is amazing. The flavors that I initially thought were disparate, were a wonderful symphony in my mouth. Most lovely! My dinner arrives, they remake Mr. Man’s dish. They burned it. The risotto is perfectly al dente, though sweet. If I were chef I wouldn’t try to develop the sauce so much. It’s a bit overwhelming. When the pizza did arrive, he was happy with it. Perfectly baked, and they used premium ingredients, that makes a top notch pie! Not shabby! For dessert we had the tiramisu. That was a bright spot. The little amaretto waffles are made in house by the pastry chef(we checked.) So light and tasty! Good show there! Our compliments to the pastry chef! I don’t think they should tell people they serve larger portions when they don’t. I’ve been to many restaurants in Portland, OR that serve this shared plate style, and the portions are larger.(The portions were decidedly NOT larger, they were normal, I felt I was being upsold.) If you’re going to do this, consider the style/concept restaurant it is. A high end haute cuisine restaurant that you want to run as a hipster joint? No. It doesn’t work. The food is good. But work on the concept. And don’t use rectangle plates. It is pretty but hard to put your silverware down without it falling off…

The foccacia is amazing. Definitely know you are at high end restaurant because of prices. I was going to get a salad but it was $ 12. Pasta was bland with not much flavor in sauce. All the staff is amazing and friendly from hostess, waitress and others. I’d try something else for dinner next time.

For a Five Star hotel, I was expecting a delicious breakfast, but instead I got an overpriced limited buffet. The pancakes were cold, the waffles disgusting and the breakfast potatoes were basically French fries. From a positive perspective, the omelet station was decent and the characters’ outfits were cute. But considering they were charging $ 46, I was hoping for something better than Ponderosa. Overpriced, small selection and mediocre quality.

This restaurant is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever eatan at. It has perfect pasta, beyond amazing atmosphere, the friendliest service, and the best dessert. I recommend this to every one that loves amazing Italian food, and friendly service. I look forward to eating here again.

Great italian selections in a sophisticated yet casual setting, great bar and creative cocktails. Service is very good and wines are very reasonably priced which was a hug surprise, and the wine selection is amazing. Great wine value. A+

Great restaurant to eat it while staying at the four seasons in Orlando. The breakfast is great and also lunch. Very good service just like every place inside this hotel. This is most definitely the best hotel in the Orlando area. Rooms are huge and with all the comforts of home. The best pool areas of all the hotels we’ve stayed at in Orlando.

Just read some reviews… and realized I didn’t get offered bread. :-(plus we have kids. We did have a great experience and loved everything we ordered. Our waiter was great and had great recommendations. The pizza we ordered was an after thought but it was the highlight of our dinner and makes us want to come back. Waiter said its a spicy sausage imported from Italy. So we would have to return to have it again. We also ordered the special risotto which was cauliflower and asparagus. And the lobster and shrimp pasta. I thought the menu description was misleading since it said lemoncello sauce but it was a red cream sauce(?). Delicious! Forgot to mention our appetizer… bruschetta and the calamari salad. Both great! Definitely dine here if you are staying at the Four Seasons Orlando! Returned for a second night and still didn’t get bread and totally forgot about asking for it. The risotto tonight was so much better than last night and it had a 6 oz Chilean sea bass on it. Ordered some similar items from last night. Love this place.

This is the loudest restaurant in which I have ever dined. Not«lively» or «energetic.» Just LOUD. And it is clear from structural elements and design choices that the concept and construction is meant to foster a LOUD dining room.(Note: I am not an architect but my line of work predicates that I understand and allow for the way that sound and other intangibles will function within any given space.) The food was fine. Just fine. Perhaps it may have been better than fine had my husband and I been able to converse and consult about our shared plates, drinks and other choices. But we could not. We found ourselves yelling at each other over our two-top and, in a moment of prolonged awkwardness, I was yelling across the table to my husband so that he could yell at the server-of-the-moment and, possibly, get a menu question answered. There is also that: the shoddy service. I appreciate that a Modern Italian establishment wants to create a service atmosphere that is communal. A big room where any server, in their casual cream and light blue uniforms, can be called upon to assist any diner. Except this service-by-lottery approach meant that there were three — yes, three! — incorrect drops at our table(not counting our entrée switch, wherein we just swapped plates after the unrecognizable food-runner departed). The last faux pas was the delivery — by a very nice young man who sheepishly apologized — of dessert spoons. Except that we had already finished dessert, using forks, and were waiting — a little too long — on our check. Ravello makes me understand why David Chang calls«Modern Ital» a lazy choice on the part of restaurateurs. I won’t expand on that comment except to say that fresh well-conceived of Italian fare may not be innovative but, with its seasonal, whole foods-based approach it can certainly be sublime. The package that sometimes goes with that concept in the United States serves corporate ownership, not the diner.

We states at the Four Seasons for 4 days and it was recommended we eat at Ravello with the kids since the other restaurant was fancy and not as kid friendly. Our meal was just ok, not what I would expect from a Four Seasons restaurant. Our meal was salty, salmon came out so fishy, undercooked inside and I took one bite and almost gagged. The waiter was kind enough to take it away and give me a tuna steak instead to take up to the room since our meal was almost over. The steak was ok but sooo salty. Why add salt to good quality food? Hmm maybe it’s not so high quality. Kids food wasn’t bad, they ate it happily which made me happy. Maybe we just had bad luck the night we dined here.

Inside Disney’s Golden Oak exclusive community with multi-million dollar homes is the just as opulent Four Seasons Hotel which houses three restaurants; Ravello is one of them featuring Goofy for breakfast and Italian fare nightly. Open to the public here’s a chance to tour the Elysium like property perfectly landscaped and structures made of limestone so don’t be surprise for paying $$$ for a cup of coffee this is where the high end service comes into play. The restaurant is sleek, modern lumber embellishments, with less is more features that make the dining room go on forever. The open kitchen features a wood burning oven where the smell of fresh dough propagated through as I sat in one of the tables close to action. The soft bread was warm straight out the oven with fresh torn basil was great with the tomato tapenade and the spicy extra virgin olive oil. My taste buds awaken with the pickled earthy Maitake mushrooms and the thin raw Beef Carpaccio was exquisitely delicate. The Veal Milanese was fried golden brown with a tangy Panzanella salad on top. The Nuttela gelato was simple gratifying. Afterwards walking it off, around the lavish grounds made a nice outing then came back home to my 99% self.

Enjoyed a great dinner here for girl’s night! Ravello is a little pricey, but has delicious food and a calm and modern atmosphere. The resort is gorgeous, and Ravello is no exception! Server was attentive, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list, suggesting great pairings for the meal. Started with the foccacia, which was served hot from the oven and was delicious, definitely recommend! The calamari salad was okay. For my entrée I had the chicken breast, which was outstanding! It was perfectly moist with a smokey flavor, and came as a rather large portion(enough to enjoy for lunch the next day). I’m always a little apprehensive to get a chicken dish, as they sometimes come out rather plain. But the chicken was full of flavor and perfectly cooked, and the side vegetables and tomatoes were also well seasoned and tasty. The dessert was a trip of sorbets that was sweet and very refreshing. Overall a great meal!

Took the lady here for her birthday. While I was expecting more of a fine dining atmosphere, I ended up very pleasantly surprised and loving the food. The atmosphere is more of a «hip late 20’s — 30’s» vibe, rather than the white linens and fine dining one. There was a pseudo techno/dance music playing in the background. Not overly loud at all, but set the tone for the restaurant experience. It wasn’t going to be a snobby one-ha! Once past that though, the service, and the food were fantastic. The apps, entrees and desert were all done well and of course the surprise on the desert plate(pic attached) was a nice surprise for the lady. Will go back… just to try some other dishes on the menu, and for a more casual evening out!

Went to this restaurant based on the reviews. Food was ok, not the best I had and especially for the price. The appetizers were ok but the best, main entrees the same. I was really looking forward having a slice of their«Supposedly» famous tiramisu. The cake was crumbling which is an indication of an over cook cake, the filling was bland, the only thing I was able to taste was the coffee. Needless to say, did not finish my tiramisu — very disappointing. Our waiter was missing in action, which is odd for a restaurant at a Four Seasons. We got there around 6, right for dinner time and the restaurant was not busy at all. May give it a try for perhaps breakfast or lunch.

During my week stay at Four Seasons, I ate here twice — dinner and the character breakfast. The service is consistently great, as the waiters check with you a few times during your meal and are very attentive. I also enjoyed the modern feel of the restaurant as well as its open kitchen… such an inviting environment. Beware, the dishes here are quite pricey since it’s fine dining, but are delicious overall. DINNER Note: For pasta dishes, if you want to try more than one, they allow you to choose two and get a half order of each. I though this was great because I could try both a richer and lighter pasta. Their pastas are cooked perfectly — al dente and firm. **Ravioli(veal + mushrooms & spinach + cream sauce) — although the first few bites are very good, the dish is pretty rich. Close to finishing the dish, I found that my ravioli was swimming in a pool of olive oil… it was like they poured it over the top and was overwhelming. **Strozzapreti pasta(lamb + tomato sauce) — the shredded lamb is pretty lean and the flavor is very apparent. Could have used some more vegetables, but I enjoyed it… lighter than the ravioli and more flavorful. **Side of Focaccia bread is nice and fresh, served with herbed oil and sun-dried tomato spread. CHARACTERBREAKFAST Ravello offers an expansive spread of breakfast options, including Italian meats, s’mores pancakes, and your traditional breakfast fare(omelettes, fruits, danish, etc). The characters(Goofy, Mickey & Minnie) constantly walk around and there is plenty of time for photo opportunities. We just found it strange that they charge $ 7 for a latte… it already costs $ 42 for each adult, so we thought that any non-alcoholic drink would be included. All in all a wonderful experience and I would recommend trying it at least once if looking for a full-service meal.

Beautiful resort. As a resident of Orlando it is worth venturing to the Four Seasons for a meal if for no other reason than to walk around the grounds. Luckily, the food and drinks are worth coming for as well! On our first trip to the Four Seasons my wife and I opted for the more casual Ravello. We started off sitting outside at the bar with a local beer(small but good selection) and the jalapeño margarita. The margarita was top notch, with the perfect spicy kick. The drinks and the bar, which over looks a large fountain and lake, are well worth coming back for, especially with a group. The actual restaurant is down a floor from the bar. The food was good but not phenomenal. My wife had the Pappardelle which was well cooked. The sauce was good but a little plain. She had wanted the lamb but this was out. I had the pollo, which was juicy and well cooked. Overall it was a good meal.

My wife and I have been trying all the restaurants here at the Four Seasons and next up was Ravello. The service was exactly what you’d expect with a Four Seasons. Our server was great and was attentive to all our needs. The place has an open kitchen which is kinda cool, you get to watch everyone in action. Now to the food, the bread they give you is fabulous. It’s baked fresh and they give you a crushed olive & olive oil to dip it in. We tried an appetizer which was great(don’t remember the name). For dinner I had a lamb braised pasta & my wife had the Bolognese, both were good. For desert we got the Stracciatella which was good as well. We will defiantly come back I would like to try the pizza!

Ravello is an Italian restaurant that is a part of the Four Seasons Orlando hotel. You can also eat a fantastic breakfast/brunch here, but this review focuses on dinner. My Overall Rating — 4 Stars(Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) 5 Stars if you’re coming for breakfast. See below: Atmosphere — Located at the Four Seasons Orlando hotel and like the rest of the hotel, it is a beautiful restaurant. The hotel itself is only a few months old, and everything is still brand-new. The ceilings are high, but lighting is dimmed during dinner service as compared to the brighter breakfast. This gives Ravello a more intimate setting for dinner. 1 Star. Service — Again, service at the Four Seasons Orlando is amazing. We dined here on multiple occasions, and our hosts remembered so many details from each experience. Again, the staff will try to accommodate every request you have. On the dinner visit to Ravello, we had a pair of servers helping us and they were all so fantastic. 1 Star. Food — Start with the mussels and request extra grilled bread. The mussels are soft & tender, but the star is the tomato broth which we soaked up with our grilled bread. For our main meal we ordered the funghee(mushroom) pizza with truffle oil and an open face ravioli in lobster sauce. The pizza is fired in an oven that you can see from the dining space. In true Italian style, the crust was thin yet still firm, and the mushroom, cheese, truffle oil combination was excellent. The ravioli was equally good — the lobster sauce also had chunks of crab and shrimp. It was a beautiful dish and the pasta was not too thick. My only negative is that the portions are small and the prices are high. Kids under 5 do eat free, and overall the dinner at Ravello is fantastic. 1 ½ Star. Will I Return? — Yes — but only if I stayed at the Four Seasons. I would return for the Breakfast with Goofy even if I didn’t stay at the Four Seasons, but honestly Ravello is great but I couldn’t see myself coming here just for dinner if I stayed elsewhere. ½ Star. My Unilocal Rating Scale(Sum of all parts): 1 Star — Atmosphere — Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I’ll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star — Service — You can have a great meal with bad service. But that’s also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It’s important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars — Food — I’ll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it’s really all about the food. 1 Star — Will I come back? — If I know for a fact I’ll return, I’ll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food(2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I will sum them up to provide my final Unilocal score.

As a local to Orlando we don’t get to see too many new or cool concepts. The venue’s atmosphere alone is worth a visit. From the entirely open kitchen in front of you to the amazing mixology bar on two levels you feel like you’ve been transported to LA or NYC. First and foremost ask for Ryan at the bar. Have him create something for you off the menu and let him do his magic. Just answer a few of his questions like what kind of liquor do you like and the type of flavor you like. Our waiter Paul simply on point there wasn’t a moment that he wasn’t there when you looked around. If he wasn’t there to help right away someone else jumped right in. Food wise I’ll be honest we are vegetarians so the options were a little limited for us. However the kitchen team tried to be as accommodating as possible. We will definitely come back with others to experience Ravello but for my wife and I we will probably only come for drinks.

Stopped in for a late snack/dinner here the night before leaving the hotel. We weren’t sure what we wanted as the menu does have some crazy italian items listed. We ended up eating light since it was almost 9pm and we’d had a lot of snacks at Universal earlier in the day. We got the house-made chips which were covered in some shredded cheese and served with a very yummy light chive dip as well as side-salads. The gal waiting on us was pretty and friendly. She did not seem off-put by all of our questions about the menu, special requests, and special needs(she brought my boyfriend a sample of the dressing on one of the salads he was considering because he’s picky about the salad dressing so he could try in advance) and seemed happy to do so. We both ended up ordering salads not on the menu and she easily and happily accommodated us. The bar area is spacious and had lots of comfy seating as well as large tables for parties and a long bar. There is a separate menu at the bar area than if you eat at the actual restaurant downstairs overlooking the pool/water and a lovely glass globe water feature. We actually had dinner reservations for the downstairs main restaurant but it sounded very loud and my boyfriend was exhausted and simply wanted to eat in peace so we stayed at the bar. Our server from another Four Seasons restaurant on-site — Plancha — came to say hello because ehe remembered us from a few days earlier and we had a pleasant conversation with him about our time at the Four Seasons as well as our time at the Disney Parks. His name was Eric and we very much enjoyed talking with him. He was very friendly. The food wasn’t the best(probably because it was fancy Italian fare) and the menu wasn’t overly large with tons of options but there were some sandwiches and flatbreads as well as pizzas and some pasta that looked yummy. I was honestly just too tired and it was too late to try any of them. Maybe next time! But the service and décor was lovely.
