its Ok. Nothing to get excited about. Be careful when you use your debit or credit card. They have some funky way of clearing your charges right away but taking the tip out of your account weeks later. Not sure How I like that in modern times so I guess that means they hold on to your card in some fashion.

Please strike my previous review! It is amazing how a location can drastically change in less than a year. I knew there was a potential problem when we were the only patrons in at 9PM on a Friday night. We came back here hoping to make use of our Living Social deal, which was not a bad deal($ 40 worth of wine for $ 20) but does have many limitations. You are only allowed to use your card for the two wine dispensers that consist only of red wines. Not bad if you are a red wine drinker,(which I’m not) but worse than that, half of the bottles don’t work or are empty. The attitude of the owners is pretty much laid back and non helpful. We had several problems with the card reader, and I suggested that they just give me the $ 20 value of my card, and I would just purchase a $ 15 dollar bottle of wine so that they were still making money. They said no. The other important thing to note is that they no longer serve food of any kind, and the comedy show is off. This is a complete 180 of the place that I once gave five stars to. I rarely give one or five stars to restaurants, but this location has earned both, go figure. I will never be back. #Yelp100

I discovered this place almost 2 years ago, and I absolutely adore it! It is pretty much a laid back wine bar perfect for just hanging-out. The first time I was there they were hosting a comedy night which I found hilarious. It ran like the old popular comedy skit of «Whose Line is it Anyway?» I was having such a great time because the place was combining one of the four things I enjoy most in life: the companionship of BF, good food, great wine, and COMEDY!!! We had an assortment of scrumptious cheeses, crackers, and hummus. Our wine selection was a good old hearty tempranillo from the Rioja region. We went again to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and they were kind enough to accomodate a large group of people. In fact, you can host your events there, and they will not charge a room fee! That’s right, you read correctly. As if that’s not enough, you can hand them your iPod over and they will play the music of your liking during the event even if other patrons are there. The reason I bring this up is because the birthday boy wanted to hear Spanish music, and the good British owners were more than happy to play it for him. So we were enjoying Spanish music as other patrons and the owners could not understand a word of it. After some time, of course, we felt bad and switched the music back to something that everyone could enjoy and understand :) We have to be fair people! Fast forward to present days, and I have already had two additional friends celebrating their birthdays there and a couple of other hangout outings to this place as well. Put a Cork in it has become a place of good memories for me, and I will always fondly remember it as the place I started going to once I turned 21. Oh and by the way, they now have a small wine dispenser which I have yet to try. Therefore, for the people complaining about this dispenser, you guys have to understand this was just added recently and it is not meant to be the main attraction of the place. They have a good wine selection just see the menu or ask the owner for bottle or glass recommendations. I look forward on going when they are hosting more comedy nights :)

They had a poor selection of wine to sample and most of the dispensers were out. I was excited to have a wine bar close to home but unfortunately it wasn’t good.

We had a Miss Orlando Send Off party there. The atmosphere is very comfortable and inviting. The staff is extremely nice, accommodating and fun! This is our second event at Put A Cork In It and we plan to have more there in the future. Everyone had a GREAT time!

What a gem in the middle of Dr. Phillips! Fabulous place to have a glass of wine with friends. Comfy couches, great wine(even my favorite, Conundrum)! Definitely a chill place to hang!

I recently purchased a daily coupon for $ 10(worth $ 20) for Put A Cork In It. I also purchased one as a gift for a friend. When we got there, it was much smaller than I had expected. Rather than giving us our own cards to add an amount to, the server gave us a prepaid card with an amount more than we purchased with our vouchers. I was disappointed to see that they only had 2 wine dispensing units and all were reds. They did not have whites to sample because they do not have chillers. About 1⁄3 of the wines in the dispensers were completely out. Among the group of my friends, we finished using the card and when I returned it, the server applied the amount that I paid for the vouchers rather than what they were worth. So, rather than getting $ 40 worth from the vouchers, I only got the $ 20 I paid. I feel it’s more like a wine store than a wine bar. The only good thing I could say is that there is no corkage and you can purchase one of the bottles of wine there and take it to Seasons 52 or J. Alexanders without the corkage. I was excited to go there because it was closer to my home than the Wine Room. It’s completely worth the extra drive to go to the Wine Room in Winter Park where the selections are much bigger and they have small bites/tapas as well. Plus, you’ll get your own card to add $$ to.

This Place is great! I recently held my 25th birthday party in this venue. After months of searching for a place that was laid back, and quiet, I happen to run into this place before a Menchies run(lol) the owners were VERY friendly. The night of the party they were there to help with everything in preparation to the party. All my guest were very please with the service, the venue and the atmosphere. I will be visiting Put a Cork in it often after the great success of my party.

This is a very casual wine bar, where you can bring a few friends and enjoy the atmosphere without being intimidated by the wine selections. They have a few beers as well. There are wines starting at $ 5/glass and going up to hundreds of dollars per bottle. There is a cheese plate option, but no other food. The owner is very welcoming and helpful and lets you bring in food from other establishments. There is regular entertainment each week. This is also a good location to hold benefits, fundraisers or networking events.

They have live entertainment there on a regular basis. Plus some really comfy couches. I’m no wine expert, but they have a huge selection. I like what I had, but take that for what it’s worth.
