Publix never fails to disappoint when it comes to grocery stores, it really is as good as it gets. Clean. Friendly people. Great customer service. I stopped at this location on my way to work to grab something to take with me for lunch and I found their layout extremely confusing. What should’ve been a quick 5 minute stop, turned into a 25 minute of me trying to find what I was looking for. Their signage was also confusing because at times it didn’t match with the product or the sale wasn’t for that size product, etc. In addition to that, this Publix does not feel like a Publix, the prices seem a bit too high, even for Publix and their selection is not as good as you’d think. Disappointing. But something this Publix has is good management team that addresses your concerns immediately, great friendly people, and complimentary coffee at the front of the store for all of their customers. May not be coming back to this Publix, unfortunately.

If you are looking to get a deli sandwich pass on this store. Their deli service is terrible. Completely rude and slow. There is always a line and only one person working as several others come and go without helping… Do your self a favor and skip the frustration, go somewhere else

I live a short distance away & I absolutely LOVE this Publix! I have always gotten the most courteous & very best service here! They have gone out of their way to help on more than one occasion!

This poor Publix. I do frequent this store often because I live down the street and I’m usually in a hurry. However, if I’m shopping for the week, I avoid this store. There is a larger and more expensive Publix about a ½ mile away, but it is worth the extra money and effort. They have more to chose from and the staff seems«with it». The Williamsburg Publix has seen better days and they don’t have much to offer. It seems like it is lost in time and everything moves slowly … everything and everyone. It also seems sad. I’ve been in line a few times and one of the cashiers there is always grumpy and rude to customers. I’m sure the tourists can be annoying but geesh … they are spending money. Its also based in an «older» neighborhood but with the new construction and newer families heading in, I hope an update and expansion is planned.(Actually, the whole strip mall could use a major update.) Either way, when I have the time, Whole Foods and the newer Publix’s in the area(Universal Blvd. and Dr. Philips) get my business.

This is the epitome of everything that Publix does NOT stand for. It is a small and dark store and feels very tired. Very tired. I made a request that other area Publix have no problem honoring, regarding a BOGO, and was denied. By one dressed as a manager no less. Not only was my request denied, the offer he made didn’t even abide by their rain check policy. How disappointing. There are about nine million(only a slight hyperbole) Publix in the area. Pick another one. Avoid this one, where shopping is a displeasure.

Publix is a necessary evil, don’t you think? Their prices are too high. Their inventory is often old(I got a year old Lean Cuisine once!), and you don’t always get smiles or more cashiers, even though they raised the prices and advertised exactly that. When I lived in the area, I barely went to Publix and with the Target grocery in Oviedo, as the supply increased there, I shopped less at Publix. Last night, I was feeling sick, and I went to their pharmacy area for an over the counter drug. This store is worse than practically every other Publix store I’ve ever visited, so much that even Walmart Neighborhood Markets is better. I found a group of 2 or 3 products in the related category – actually 2 or 3 items. If anyone had taken anything, the product would have been empty, and several others were. In any case, I ended up driving to Walmart at John Young and Sand Lake, though there might be a closer store. Glad I don’t have to shop at Publix any more.

What an unpleasant shopping experience. This store is laid out so stupidly it’s unbelievable. You have to enter through the exit. The produce is tucked away in a corner that is farthest from the entrance. Very small selection of item variety. The isles are so cramped. Items that you’d think would be together are on opposite sides of the store(ie: milk, and soy milk).

Actually, since I live right across the street, this Publix is practically my second home. And it’s a great little store! Here’s why: Small store = less walking. Also, you’re in and out — quickly! Great deli — it has become my go-to for fast food when I don’t feel like cooking: Pressed Cuban sandwich w/chips & sweet tea and you got lunch. Buffalo chicken tenders, wedge fries, & coleslaw and voila — you got dinner! A coupla papas rellenas & a beer — great snack! Good selection of Florida veggies & fruits in season in produce section. Also a variety of ready made salads for(*healthy*) take-out make a nutritious side for rotisserie chicken dinner. Nice selection of fish & seafood — including fresh oysters, snow crab legs, and shrimp at the fish counter. And a ready made salad with a quarter pound of cooked shrimp from the fish counter with some fresh fruit from the produce dept. makes for a light lunch or supper. And writing this review has just made me realize something: although I shop quite a bit, I don’t cook much! LOL!

I love Publix, but this Publix is just different than the others. I feel like it used to be a different grocery store, and then Publix bought it out. From the start, walking through the door, you are just confused. Don’t get me wrong… it is still amazing because PUBLIX is amazing, but it just kinda throws ya off.
