Pro-Staff Termite and Pest Control Inc

I called Pro-​Staff for a free rat inspection (We didn’t have rats, we just needed proof of a clear inspection for the city before we demolished the house and built a new one.)
Ken came out and was actually on my property poking and looking around before I got there. I found the man on the back porch bending down and doing who knows what?! (That raised a red flag right there)
He then kept looking around outside and said that we absolutely had a rat problem. I asked to see the evidence. He pointed to one lone calcified «something.»
I said, «how can you tell that is a rat dropping?» (It was just one «thing» by itself and he couldn’t show me anything else.) He just kept saying the problem was in several places and that I had to do something.
He kept going on and on how he couldn’t give me a clear inspection without spending $ 500 on traps for the outside. It just wouldn’t be right. (Another red flag)
I asked him to inspect the inside. He said there was also evidence of rats inside but he could determine if it was old or new. Again, I asked to see evidence and he couldn’t show me anything.
He told me that he would add extra traps for the inside and he would still ONLY charge me $ 500.
Run away!!! This company totally lied to me and tried to scam me.
I called a different company and they saw NO evidence of anything. No damage, droppings, NOTHING! The filled out a form for free and I gave them a thank you and a handshake.
Please don’t do business with this company and don’t let Ken anywhere near your home. (I am pretty sure he planted something and/​or has no clue what actual rat droppings look like.) Totally dishonest company. I also filed a complaint with the BBB.

Pro-​staff came out to take care of a flea issue, and we still have fleas. They act like it’s our fault they’re not coming out to fix until after the weekend. After being told to expect a follow up spray in 7 days. I was very displeased with their phone customer service!
Fleas are localized to a single room from some animal that got under the house. We treated ourselves for a week and then called Pro-​staff. Sales guy was very nice, but after signing contract the customer service started to slip.

Everyone has a bad day, but it takes a strong company to correct itself, and an even stronger company to rise above even an initial good experience. Pro-​staff has not only addressed my issue, they have gone above and beyond to right the wrong.
I am very pleased with how everything is now being handled and would easily recommend them to anyone looking for a great local pest control service.
And, yes the fleas (and all other pest) are now gone. Thank you Pro-​Staff!

Outstanding customer service from people who genuinely care about you.
We hired Pro-​Staff a little over a month ago when we found out our new place had a major clothes-​eating moth infestation. We signed up for their quarterly service and they did an initial treatment right away. When we called a week later to say we were still seeing moths, they came back out at no additional charge to do another treatment. They even came out a third time just to make sure we weren’t seeing any more moths and to re-​treat some areas where the moths had been harboring «just in case». They’ve been wonderful to work with the whole time and have shown genuine interest in getting our problem resolved. When we offered to pay for the extra visits, they said «absolutely not — once you’ve signed up for our service, we do whatever it takes to make sure you’re bug free.» You can’t ask for better customer service than that! And at very reasonable rates too.
