I had a wonderful experience at Naru. There was no delay in service at all. Each course came out before I finished the one I was eating. The staff was exceedingly polite and helpful. My boyfriend and I purchased a Groupon and checked it out on a Sunday afternoon. It is a pretty big restaurant inside and they have two high top tables right out front. We asked to sit outside because the weather was perfect. The staff obliged and offered to move the umbrella if the sun moved. There was pleasant music playing even outside while we ate. Our server explained the different dining options at Naru and walked us through the menu. We chose to do the Table Gourmet($ 25 per person for about 8 courses and refills of any at the end) so we could get a taste for everything on our first venture. Immediately, the miso soup came out. Hands down, best miso soup I’ve ever had. The server said she hears that a lot. There was also a cucumber salad. Then came fish pockets, spring rolls, and pork gyoza. The fish pocket was so awesome. Get a fish pocket. I won’t list out everything else-just the highlights. The hot rolls is basically a tempura Philadelphia roll, but so much better. I ordered extra of this one. The last thing they bring out is plate of 28 pieces(14 each) of sashimi, nigiri, and rolls. Now, I always love tuna and salmon. There was a lot of salmon, so maybe that’s why I liked it but didn’t love it. The tuna was also very good and could have been my favorite-if there wasn’t white fish. I was surprised to find the white fish amazing in all three forms. After hearing our feedback about the white fish rolls, the server informed the chef. The chef said he had been debating whether or not it should be on the menu, but after hearing our feedback-it’ll be there. Score! We finished up with a few reorders, because we could. Our server happily accepted the groupon, provided the bill, and offered us waters to go. I did use the restroom during our meal. There are two one person restrooms. I used the women’s. It was very clean-no complaints. Naru isn’t too far from my home and there are so many other menu items I’m looking forward to trying!

Excellent customer service! Mona is truly a joy to have on staff. Ordered the Volcano and Dynamite rolls. While delicious in taste, I did find them to be heavy on the rice and light on the fish. However, I would definitely return.

Brazilian style sushi. Who knew… it’s not you typical sushi bar/restaurant. There’s something for everyone’s taste; for those who are still experimenting, or if you want a great deal on a set menu, where you get to sample a variety of items from soup, salad, fried sushi, to raw fish. You can’t beat the price for the set menu, and it’s all you can eat(except for the fish). They have specials and live entertainment. Moms/dads, they have a real changing table in the bathroom for the babies, and I was very impressed by the floss and mouthwash dispenser in the bathrooms.

The food is amazing. The restaurant is a sushi bar with a fusion of flavors from latin america and special emphasis on Brazilian cuisine, so why 3 stars. The service is not up to the restaurant, it is way tooooo slow. It took me almost two hours since the time that sat till i paid. Even to get the bill and swipe the card was slow had to wait 10 minutes just for that!!!

My family of four spent yesterday(Valentine’s Day) at I-Drive 360. We had lunch at Yard House, and were very pleased. At 8:30pm, after visiting all 3 attractions at I-Drive 360, we headed to Naru. Receptionist said the wait was 30 minutes. And true enough, we got our table exactly 30 minutes later. Now the horror begins… My kids ordered the Beef & Chicken Yakisoba. I ordered the Gourmet Table(with sushi & sashimi), and my husband ordered Chicken Teriyaki. Thirty minutes after we placed our order, the first wave of food arrived: yakisoba, beef(not chicken) teriyaki, & my appetizer. They forgot hubby’s miso soup. Our very pleasant & apologetic server said that the kitchen & sushi chef are swamped because it’s Valentine’s. We said ok. Another 60 minutes passed. Still no sushi. Other customers from nearby tables were complaining. Some wanted to cancel their orders. Managers came out & did his«rounds» to apologize. He did not offer anything to appease the angry mob. When my sushi finally arrived, no tuna sashimi! Server said they ran out. I then asked for complimentary desserts. I ordered the dessert with the fresh fruits, and the fried banana. Server comes back out. They ran out of fresh fruits! If I could give this restaurant a «zero» star, I would. Our server(Ashley, I think is her name) should be commended. She handled the situation well. The manager, kitchen & sushi chef’s performance was unacceptable! I’m Asian-American, so I know«good» Japanese food. This«Brazilian”-inspired Japanese joint is NOGOOD! Dont waste your time going here. Go to the other restaurants that I-Drive 360 has to offer.

Publix sushi is better… I’ve had the best sushi in Brazil.(Yes, there are Japanese people in Brazil)!!! I was so excited to try this but only to be disappointed. The drinks were too sweet. The sushi rice was hard and had no flavor. The sashimi had running pink water. The crab rangoon was delicious, though.

We were there celebrating our work holiday get away! We started at the bar, having some drinks while out table became available. We were greeted by our server Marco, who was very friendly and immediately took care of our party. The restaurant deal is $ 25 all you can eat sushi type of thing. They brought to the table miso soup, salad, vegetables tempura, spring rolls and a sushi boat with a large combination of sushi a and sashimi and we were almost done, they also brought us noodles. For desert we wee served fried banana with ice cream. Great deal with friendly staff. Parking was not an issue. There is a full parking garage on the complex. Definitely going back there.

Japanese-Brasil sushi is like Mr. Miyagi wearing a sunga while doing the wax on wax off thing or for you millenials is like Misty from Pokemon getting a Brazilian butt lift, not necessary. The non eye contact from the hostess threw me off right away, very sterile like welcome that extended to the dining room décor; Minimalist look trend taken to heart a little too much. With the unts, unts, unts beats of the Urban lounge playlist the whole place felt uninspiring and a carbon copy of an Ikea showroom selling sushi with plastic chopsticks. The server explained that the restaurant has Brazilian flair sushi therefore the heavy use of cream cheese and fruit. So I thought Naru was going to be like a Sushi Samba type. But with an endless sushi for 25 bucks deal and the restaurant is empty I was scratching my head. I only tried some of their happy«hours» menu that extends all the way to 7:30pm. The only roll worthy of mention was the fried temaki salmon roll, deep fried imitation crab and whipped cream cheese rolled in thinly sliced salmon, interesting taste. So Brazilians love their fio dental(thongs) and Naru oddly enough has dental floss in the bathrooms. At least my dentist is happy.

The sushi options has way too much cream cheese. Didnt know was a thing have fish with cream cheese like that. So, for someone like me that doesn’t appreciate the combination, gets hard to like here. All sushis had/has cream cheese so I ordered mine without. Can get blah with no replaced with something else, a sauce, more fish etc. I was expecting that from the kitchen, but didn’t get it. Service is on point, restaurant it’s pretty but menu it is way too limited.

I really wanted to like this place. I’m always looking for great sushi. Unfortunately this isn’t. WAY too much cream cheese on this sushi menu. The Miso soup had lots of Tofu in it, so that was good at least. Lastly, a sushi place that only serves Tazo green tea? That’s a big red flag. But I read some older Unilocal! reviews and it seems they had NO green tea when they first opened. SO at least the owners are listening to their customers and trying to make changes.

I was excited to see a new sushi joint open up near my workplace. Sorry to say, I won’t be going back. On the surface, this place appears to be a modern Japanese style sushi restaurant. But! It is actually a Brazilian restaurant chain that is now expanding into the states. Although I would have tried it anyway, there was nothing to indicate that this is «Brazilian Sushi.» After dining here, I’ve learned that Brazilians should leave sushi to the Japanese… Do you like lunch specials? Too bad! They have a sandwich sign out front that says«Wow! Lunch specials starting at $ 8.50!» But, if you ask what those specials are, they don’t know and there’s nothing on the menu. Do you enjoy green tea? Great, they will give you a 4-oz cup of hot water and a Tazo teabag. Doesn’t really scream authentic… Do you want weird sushi? You might like this place. Seriously — who the hell wants«strawberry + whip cream» roll, or «pineapple + whip cream» roll, or «mango + whip cream» roll? I got a few pieces of these included in my chef’s choice assorted plate and they were gross. Their menu is 48 pages long, but you won’t find seaweed salad anywhere on the two salad pages. Edamame? Ha! The only nice thing I can say about this place is that our server was attentive, friendly, and sincere. Otherwise, there is nothing positive I can say about this place.

So delicious! Came up from Miami for HHN found this place thru here saw the good reviews so I decided to check it out! The 25 $ a person deal is freaking great. You get 10 plates of different food and you can repeat any plate except the sashimi. All the food was excellent. Very happy with the experience. Very nice spot.

Naru Sushi definitely stands out among the vast variety of sushi restaurants in the Orlando tourist area. The Brazilian flair adds quite the touch to their sushi lineup. The atmosphere is trendy but quiet enough to hear a conversation across the table. Starting out with their signature Sakerinha drink, a cocktail infused with fresh fruit and a Sake twist. We landed on their Brazilian Sushi gourmet dinner which consisted of miso soup, 3 types of egg rolls and rangoons, teriyaki chicken and lightest tempura batter I’ve had in years. That is just the appetizers! The main course consisted of around 12 different types of sushi and nigiri(see photo). The fish selection was the freshest I’ve had on my trip to Orlando. All of this delicious food only cost 25 dollars! Our server Mickey was extremely polite and timed the dishes perfectly. The bartender kept the Sakerinha’s coming and even brought a round to our table himself. Overall I would highly recommend this establishment. Having sampled sushi on both coasts, I can confidently say that this was the best and most affordable sushi for the quality I have had in years. Five Stars! Ig: naruidrive360 for more photos :)

The Sushi is Delish with a Brazilian Flair that will leave your Tummy full and your tastebuds very happy. Alex will make sure you are taken care of. I had Yummy Shrimp Tempura wrapped in Tuna and with a touch of cream cheeses with seaweed, Tuna Roll with tuna on the outside with Mango and Crab on the inside and a Sun dried Tomato, Avocado and cream cheese and rice and seaweed.

«Hi, I’m your sever today. May I bring you a beverage?» «Green tea, please.» «I’m sorry, we don’t have green tea. Only Lipton iced tea.» Uh oh. A Japanese restaurant without green tea. Seriously? That’s not the only thing in somewhat short supply at Naru. A quick look at the sushi and sashimi list will reveal that almost everything is based upon tuna or salmon. Because that’s basically what they have. And someone sure likes cream cheese – nearly every roll includes it. In fact one entire section of rolls has not a single offering without cream cheese. Despite all of this, we had some fairly good food during our visit. The best item was the salmon carpaccio, which included, citrus, oil and scallions. The sushi rolls were unimpressive, but the hand roll, although pricey at $ 8, was good, and I liked the way you can easily add optional ingredients such as salmon skin for a very reasonable price. Still, lunch for two came to $ 100 without alcohol, and with no real home runs. The décor of the place is great, the sound track is upbeat and trendy, and the service is friendly. But I can’t help wondering about a Japanese restaurant with no green tea.

I rarely travel to the tourist area, but I had the day off and one of my co-workers and I decided to check out I Drive 360. Having heard that this sushi bar just opened, we decided to check it out. The staff was extremely friendly(and like the other reviewer said, sometimes over eager). However, service was very slow. It took quite some time to get our drinks and even longer to get the food. The restaurant is still in a soft opening, and I believe that was the cause. The food was above average, and very unique. Some avid sushi lovers might think it’s too unique and not like it, but I enjoyed the creativity. I believe the owners/managers are Brazilian and they have a some tropical drinks and a Brazilian beer on the menu. It’s different, and I’m not sure it really fits a trendy sushi restaurant. The menu needs serious work. There are hardly any descriptions and each item has a custom name — hence the need for descriptions. The manager said they’re rolling out a new menu and will have iPads with photos. Hopefully that will fix the problem! Overall, the food was good and is worth checking out again once they get their kinks worked out.
