The best thing they have is this amazing avocado taco that was super good but you will need lime. The salsa needed just a little work. Blanco cheese isn’t blanco. It’s more like a mixture of that and velveta with rotel. We also had the steak chimichuri but the sauce wasn’t like a chimichuri sauce. It was just okay. Really missing my Tex mex

Loved this place! The chicken tacos are delicious! I also had a drink called the black diamond which was okay. Will definitely be back again

Who knew that when you order 1800 that’s it’s not Cuervo. They should tell you. But the way it’s crap.

Food was just average. Not bad but nothing special. Eola 101 margarita was good. Three stars mainly due to poor service. Not very attentive.

I had the lettuce wraps and they were amazing. As a table we shared the queso dip and the next time I go, I will be ordering it again. The service was great and the environment was fun and not too noisy. Its great being able to catch up at dinner with long time friends.

Not great, but far from bad. Everything was very fresh, but the salsa was bland — needed salt and a little heat. The chips were really good. They were cold as someone said, but who cares? They tasted house made. Tried shrimp and carnitas tacos, Mucho style with just onion, salsa and cilantro. All very bland as well. That being said, my boyfriend had the carnitas enchiladas and they were amazing. Some of the best enchilada sauce I’ve had. We will be back, but I will order a something else. Definitely worth trying again. I do miss the Mexican restaurants in SoCal, especially the corn tortillas.

Comfortable, convenient! The Bar tenders really make the place, they always remember me and make everything to my liking. I love the they have a package store for when you need a nice host gift on the way to an event!

Pretty underwhelmed with this place. Inside the décor is dark and broody, perfect if you are just coming here for a drink. Their happy hour had good deals on Margaritas and they were made fairly strong. The chips and salsa had the saltiest chips I have ever had! They could have used a little more of that salt in the salsa. Also I ordered the mahi fajitas and it was not seasoned at all. So again, cool atmosphere, cool happy hour, pretty plain food.

My friends and I go to Muchos on a regular basis as we live in the neighborhood. The food is always on point(except for the salsa. It blows our mind — how can a Mexican place screw up salsa?) However, our experience last week left much to be desired. We were holding a surprise dinner for a friend coming to town– 8 of us in total. It was a Monday night so the place was fairly slow, maybe only 6 or 7 other tables the whole night. Our entire party felt like we were being ignored by our server Daniela. We each only had 2 drinks the 2.5 hours we were there(with the exception of one person who realized early on we had terrible service and ordered 2 drinks at a time). It was happy hour and we had all walked there, we were ready to have several margaritas! Someone else brought our food(which is not uncommon, but again, the restaurant was completely dead) and she hardly checked on us. But don’t worry — she was sure to include that 20% gratuity on all of our bills! From now on, I’ll probably limit my visits to sitting at the bar or picking up to go food. Highly embarrassed that we brought out of town friends here.

Walked in here with my girlie Madison from work. we waited for a good 5 mins and someone looked at us and just walked by.. . They were lacking a host/hostess. Someone finally saw us and took us to our seat. If there isnt a host around move the sign where it says«please wait to be seated». We waited a while and a really nice guy finally came and apologized for the long wait. He gave us chips and salsa, it was very watered down so it was more like tomatoes and a vingear taste. I order a shrimp taco which was good since there was pico inside and my friend ordered a quesadilla which looks good. But the portion was small. I think the food here is over priced and its not that good.. . But then again it is downtown. I expect the high prices but i expect good quality as well. I wouldnt be back. Our server was nice but he looked really busy. not too much attention

I don’t know how they call this Mexican food. It’s so lame. The salsa tasted like watered down pace. The chimi was basic. Over priced 10oz beer. I have no idea why people come here. Ew.

Not too shabby. Looking for a place to go to on a Monday night and we decided on this place. The décor is 5 stars the food is 3 – 4 and the drinks are 4 – 5. M0ndays they have 2.50 muchos tacos. Pick a taco with chicken beef or pork. Flour tortilla with pico de gallo. the beef was my favorite while the carnitas came in a close 2nd. 2.50 $ drafts of Modelo(they were out of Dos Equis Lager) and the mugs were cold cold cold .Even made a floating glacier after it was poured. Aside from the happy hour tacos we decided to try the grilled stuffed Jalapenos. This was more of a disappointment. The jalapenos were not really grilled and were practically raw. Crunchier than most pickles and hotter than hell. if they steamed them or grilled them then it would have been much better. Good thing for the ice cold beers. There salsa is some of the best i have ever had. Wish i knew how to make it like theirs at home. For a Monday its a great place to go. Will try more when we get the itch for some bomb ass salsa.

$ 47 dollars later, we ate 3 tacos each, ordered water, and chips and queso. Completely overpriced horrible excuse for tacos. They were«out of» Verde salsa(how do you run out?) and the tortillas were cold — straight out of the bag cold. The rice and beans were slopped together in a bowl and what if I like eating mine separate? Salsa was okay… but its served in the world’s smallest serving dish. Service was okay until we had to track down our waiter to pay for the meal because another customer was keeping him busy trying to make their table outside be visible to «the game» on the tv. Bottom line: This restaurant is basically a place for young, rich, yuppie kids that live in the condos nearby to feel like they’re eating something special, when really it’s just a boring bar that serves crappy overpriced tacos. Will never be back… ever.

This place is great for the neighborhood, the food is decent but more so — it’s just a fun place. The décor is fun and they have a great happy hour, one time with every beer ordered we got a free shot of tequila. Also, next door they have a small store to grab a 6pk of beer, some wine or liquor if you need. You can even get a drink in there and hang out at the bar they have, or at small tables outside if you have your dog with you it’s cool. Def worth checking out if you haven’t :)

Overcooked chips, thick paste like salsa, dark green unseasoned guacamole, and over priced tacos. However, they do have lots of liquor.

UPDATE: My view on Mucho is getting better so I’m bumping it to 4 stars from 3. I still don’t eat at the restaurant all that much, but the tiny bar/liquor store next door is awesome and the service is great. We’ve eaten here a few times for lunch and brunch since it’s so close to home, but I have to say the food is just average. We live right next door, but we find ourselves going to Gringos Locos or even Tijuana Flats(before it closed) more than we do here. It’s not that the food is bad, it’s just not anything special.

If you have tequila on your menu and you have a five-pound, $ 28 taco on your menu and I visit your restaurant, the result is ALWAYS going to be me ordering that five-pound taco. Muchos has both of these things and the result was as expected. Seriously, though, the five-pound Conquistador taco is a good deal if you a) are with at least one, preferably two, other people who want to share; b) enjoy posting selfies on social media with enormous tacos; and/or c) want to use the leftovers to fill up your own smaller tacos over a period of days. If you’re just not into five-pound tacos or it takes more than that to get you in the door of an establishment, they also have a great patio for people-watching, a respectable Sunday-funday brunch menu and decent happy-hour specials, as well — $ 2.50 tacos and margaritas from 4 – 7.

Excellent atmosphere. Love the day of the dead décor. Patron Roca shot went down smooth. Chased it with the Kickin Rita. Nice and spicy :) thanks for the wonderful bar service!

Fun for happy hour, bad choice for brunch! Happy hour prices get you delicious margaritas, pineapple infused tequila shots and yummy chips and dips. Service at the bar was quick and attentive, even when it got packed for the World Cup game I was watching. At brunch they serve great sangrias which you can order a pitcher of and will fill four large glasses. However, the food at brunch is limited and their pricing system makes no sense! They nickle and dime you for everything extra. For example, you can build your own burrito for 8.50 but that only includes the eggs and cheese! By the time you add your veggies and meats it’s around $ 15. OR you can get the chorizo tacos for $ 10 which come with all the toppings, plus hash browns and fresh fruit! The waiter suggested we get a dollop of sour cream with this, as the meat is spicy, but it was going to cost 75 cents extra. Be prepared for a rowdy crowd in here. At 11:30 am on a Sunday they were hardly busy, but a group was already making use of the ‘shot chair’ where you lay back and a server liberally pours tequila straight into your mouth.

My experienced was astounding overall! This was my first visit. The interior looks very cool, reasonable prices, friendly staff members, and a wide selection of food options. I met up with some friends here, so I missed out the waiting for a table experience. I order an interesting drink called: Upside-Down Margarita. It tasted great & had a powerful kick to it! This drink was enough for me lol. I ordered BUENOTAQUITOS&STEAKCHIMICHANGA. The chimichanga was deep fried & it was good. The food portions was satisfying and great for sharing among friends. The food arrived in efficient time in my opinion. About 10 minutes. You get free chips & salsa apparently when you get seated. A negative experience I thought was there was a band playing inside. They were ok, but it was difficult to talk to friends & to the waitress. Ordering was very difficult. If you love Mexican style food, looking for a great place for a drink, or just want to enjoy a meal alone, then come to Muchos! I will return in the near future.
