BEWARE Muslims! The owner will tell you that they serve halal meat but I did some research and it’s been off of Zabihah Halal’s website for more than 2 years! I asked her three times and all three times she told me yes! She knew we were Muslim (my azaan went off) yet she still thought it was okay to lie to me. They serve alcohol and it is not ran by Muslims so it is better to stay away. And the food is not too tasty and prices are high, portions are small. :(Really upset she couldn’t respect my religion. If she would’ve told me I could’ve just ordered vegetarian items instead.

Not impressed at all by this place. I was expecting good things as their lake mary location is supposed to be fantastic and because they shut down, moved and reopened recently.
The first time we attempted to go, they said they were open online but when we got there after a 30 minute drive, there was a note on the front door that they were closed.
The second time, we were able to dine there. The ambiance was very mediocre. Food was bland and also very mediocre. Service was mediocre. Lastly, they brought me the right check but when swiping my credit card, swiped for the wrong amount. Unknowingly I left and they came running out to call me back, after we were driving off already, to tell me they undercharged me by $ 16 on a $ 86 check. I had a sleeping kid in the car, but had to go in none-​the-​less. The manager, instead of just apologizing, apologized and told me how the waiter was an idiot. I was very unimpressed. They eventually corrected it after a long wait and then I was on my way. Will not be returning to this restaurant.

My boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time today. We got the groupon for 2. Everything was delicious! We started with the Naan bread which was absolutely delicious and moved on to one of the chicken dishes (can’t remember the name). Everything we had came out quickly and the service was on point and friendly. Delicious flavors. Would definitely come back and the prices on their own are very reasonable!

It took us a while to find this place after it moved from the Restaurant Row area (Turkey Lake location), but it was just as good as, actually even better than, its former location. We had the lunch plates, which were generous portions of absolutely delicious food. The chana masala was full of fresh herbs and subtle spices, with the spiciness right on target with our request for medium heat. The shrimp curry was in a sauce that was the perfect complement to the tasty naan bread – the plate went back to the kitchen clean! The staff was very attentive and helpful. We will go back to being the regulars we were at the previous location – can’t wait to get back into the Sunday buffet routine!

We go here for the Sunday endless champagne buffet and it is the best we have tried in Orlando. The selection is great, and the prices are affordable. Service is always great as well.

Very nice. I walked in at 1150 on a Tuesday seeking an Indian buffet experience. Unfortunately, that only happens here on Sunday. I decided to stick around, though, and I’m glad I did.
Butter or korma chicken are my standbys, but the server pointed me to Chicken Kali Mirch, which is chicken chunks in a spicy, rich black pepper brown gravy. Yummy, and just the right spice level requested (Hot but not quite Indian hot; seems my customary choice of incendiary Thai, Indian and Mexican dishes is catching up with my now middle-​aged GI tract. Go figure.)
Entrée arrived quickly in a divided tray containing a delicious, piping hot samosa (aloo, I think), half a naan, one papad, rice, raita, and mint chutney/​pickle.
I practically licked the tray clean. Yeah. That good.
The server brought a scoop of mango ice cream, which was a great finish.
I’d have preferred that he ask me if I wanted the samosa — it was a $ 1.50 add-​on — but it was worth it.
Overall, four well-​earned stars for this screamingly obvious gem overlooking the intersection of OBT and Sand Lake.

Best Indian food in the Dr Phillips /​Sandlake Road area. Same great food as the last location on Turkey Lake. No awards for the décor but you just cant beat the food. Its 10 mins further away now but worth the drive. Other local eatery’s don’t come close.

I love Indian food, and tonight my girlfriend and I tried this place tonight. My girlfriend said her chicken curry was just so, so… and my Chicken Vindaloo which I ordered «Indian Hot» came out mild. Big disappointment for the both of us. And the service was very bad! We had to wait about 5 minutes just to get a glass of water. after our order was taken we never saw our server until our check was given to us. (Someone else delivered our food) If I could have gotten our server’s attention, I could have told him my order was wrong.
Needles to say that my Girlfriend and I will never eat here again.

I really don’t want to remember this place. It is very forgettable, and just average. We came in for lunch on a Monday, and it was very quiet. Most of the food was not put out when we arrived, but eventually made its way out.
The food is not bad, just average. The best thing on the buffet was the goat. The naan was actually dry and hard, and they had vindaloo sauce, but no chicken in it. WTF? The décor is odd, and the restaurant is basically separated into two suites with different floors and colors.
The price point is not bad, but there are so many other places I’d rather go.

A definite must visit! Our party consisted of 4 people and we ordered The Bombay mixed grill, nawabi lukme, kheema nan, fresh yogurt, and mango and pistachio ice cream. It was a great way to sample a little bit of everything and share it family style. This was our first visit and with the many options, decided this was the best way to go. It certainly did not disappoint.
The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service could do with a little polishing. Don’t get me wrong, the waiters are incredibly friendly, but being a draw for the lunch buffet crowd, I think the full sit down dinner service thing is just something that needs a little more attention. but, again, delicious food and everyone was super friendly! Come eat here! :)

I rarely write reviews but I felt entitled to after visiting this place. Originally, I was resilient at first since my boyfriend and I were the only ones in the restaurant but the food was amazing, it was reasonably priced for what you are getting, and they gave very attentive customer service. By far the best authentic Indian food I’ve eaten yet.

This is the same restaurant, staff, etc that was at the Turkey Lake location. I went there and the food was the same as it was before – top notch. I got the lamb chop appetizer and the chicken tikka masala. Both were excellent. Also, we got some naan which was excellent. The staff were very friendly. It’s kind of hard to see from the road. The atmosphere of the new place I think is nicer than the old one.
