This restaurant is located just before the Harry Potter area in Universal Studios. It is indoors with outside seating available, and there are plenty of tables. The menu has several sandwiches, salads, and entrees at not so ridiculous prices. They also have a number of interesting drink concoctions. We paid $ 51 for a steak sandwich that exceeded my(low) expectations, a Caesar salad which my daughter and I shared, her kids hamburger, and my wife’s Cobb salad with shrimp. I also got the corn & lobster bisque, which comes in the same bowl together, to share with my youngest. Interesting concept/combination, but it worked. Overall the food wasn’t bad. I really liked the soup and my wife and oldest were happy with theirs. There were other items that looked interesting, so if I found myself in this park again maybe I’d come back and try.

Lombard’s Seafood Grille is a mediocre restaurant on Universal property. It is inside of Universal Studios on the west side of the lake. The food here could have been better. The shrimp cocktail was alright but in my opinion its hard to mess up a shrimp cocktail. I ordered the grilled mahi mahi with potatoes and mixed veggies. The mahi mahi was cooked fine but lacked any flavor whatsoever. My girlfriend ordered the fisherman’s basket. This contained fried shrimp, fish, calamari, french fries and coleslaw. She said the food was decent but incredibly greasy. The kind of greasy that just picking up the fried shrimp coats your fingers in oil. Its difficult to expect anything spectacular in a theme park in regards to food but Lombard’s has a great seating area. They have friendly staff. Their issue is the food which just needs some minor tweaks to be a great overall experience. Its great to sit and relax away from the hot sun and to have a waitress take card of you. Just make sure the food you put out is worth of $$

This was a great place to have a sit down lunch at Universal Studios. I loved the fish and fries and my girls loved their kids meals. One of my daughters said the fries were awesome. Only giving three stars only because I reserve 5 stars for fine dining and four would be a five star for a non-fine dining place.

So we ate here because it looked really nice inside. Also, we wanted to relax and have a nice lunch because we were running around all day at the theme parks. When we arrived we were told 30 minute wait with no explanation why. There was only 3 other families waiting and the restaurant was 75% empty. I asked the hosts their reasoning and they said the kitchen was overwhelmed. Ok, so we decided to wait instead of settling for quick service. We were called to our table after 5 minutes of waiting … Strange but we’ll take it. We asked for some recommendations and the waitress said liked the clam chowder… I asked about the lobster roll and she said it was popular. We ordered: The clam chowder– very thick and very clammy(a lot of chewy bits) it also came warm not hot. It was edible but we did not finish. The corn and lobster bisque– I thought it was pretty tasty but also came warm not hot. My husband was not a fan. Calamari– again came warm and it was very odd strips of squid not the typical circle shape and no tentacle pieces. They were also VERY mushy and the breading was not crispy. The fried cod kids meal — fish was ok and the fries were obviously frozen previously. Lobster roll — here’s the kicker the lobster was an odd red color, I mean really really red like it was enhanced by food coloring. The pieces were very tiny chopped and there was no mayo or any condiments on mine. When I bit in the lobster actually tasted like it was bad(like rancid bad). Now I rarely send anything back but at $ 18 dollars I had to say something. When I told our sever she did not seem surprised and offered me something else. I declined, so she said she will get with her manager who ended up removing from the check. However, the manager never came over to apologize or offer and explanation. The«homemade chips» and coleslaw that came with were another huge miss Additionally, at the start of the meal our server brought out cold sourdough rolls which were as hard as rocks. Obviously were sitting out for a long time and stale. With the price point being so high we expected much better, it was a rather weird experience and only deserves 1 star because and item was so bad it had to be sent back. We left hungry and with less money in our pockets :(

Food wasnt bad, it was decently priced, we got the lobster sandwhich and split it so was nice size. Clam chowder was rather average and the calamari was soggy. In all honesty rather average place cheap, does the trick so eh what can I say.

Great place to sit down for lunch when the rain comes like today. Said 45 minutes to an hour but we only waited 30 minutes. Well organized reception with a small waiting area that was comfortable. We were seated next to a great, large, round saltwater fish tank in the middle of the room which kept us thoroughly entertained. Not only was it rainy today, it was cold. Got some coffee with fairly well timed refills that warmed me up. Apps were all good but fairly generic. Calamari with peppers had only one pepper. It was fine. Lunch entrees were on the light side but good. But coming to Lombards is all about perspective. It’s the only real sit down restaurant in the park. Outside the park it’s a two star. Inside four. We liked it. Next time we’re in Universal Studios we’ll definitely be back for lunch.

Ate here for lunch on our visit. Menu looked great the location was nice and the prices on the menu actually seem pretty fair. Ordered the Mac and Cheese, Fisherman’s basket, and the Fish Tacos Food was meh and the portions were tiny. Now I know why the price seemed pretty good for being inside the theme park. They give you very little . Mac and cheese was pretty bland and the portion was tiny. It was on a plate and the mac an cheese was literally 1 marcaroni deep in depth. Fishermans basket was a joke. had 2 shrimp, 2 – 3 tiny oysters, and a small fish filet along with some waffle fries. Fish Tacos were also average nothing extraordinary and definitely not worth the wait. There’s a cute lady that does the reservations and tells you how long the wait is. I wouldn’t take her word literally. She was telling people 45 minutes yet it maybe took 15 minutes at the most? If you want meh average, food that’s below average portions at average price. This is the place for you. I personally suggest grabbing a sammich at the shop right in front or go a little further down and grab one of the meat ball sammiches or a pizza in the cafeteria like italian restaurant. if all else you can grab a Smoked Turkey Leg.

I’m going to have to agree with most of the reviews on here – food is ok. My party of 5 waited about 15 min for a table, standard wait and were seated in the main dining area. Drinks and a basket of bread found our table soon after we sat, the bread wasn’t piping hot so the frozen butter was hard to spread. I ordered the Mac and Cheese dish which is much more then your standard order. This dish has mushrooms, different types of cheeses, ham, bacon and toasted bread crumbs to top. My daughter order the kids hot ham sandwich and for her two sides – broccoli and rice– and she only ate the sides if that tells you anything about great the sandwich tasted. My husband ordered the signature sandwich which was braised short ribs, bacon, blu cheese, fried onions and spring mix – a bit over cooked but everything paired well. The overall time from sit down to check out was a little over an hour, during lunch time; not horrible. Look over the menu while you wait so you don’t get stuck waiting.

I’ve been on a seafood phase lately so when we saw this, we had to try it! Unfortunately, the food here was terrible. Flagging down a waiter took forever. We weren’t too hungry so we ordered a bowl of their soup, which was corn and lobster bisque side by side. I thought it was going to be two bowls, but I guess they literally meant side by side. The two soups were in one bowl. One half was corn soup that tasted like the corn potage at Curry House in Cupertino. The other half was lobster bisque which tasted disgusting. It was too fishy. Accidentally mixing the two soups together didn’t taste good either. We ordered the lobster roll to share. You couldn’t really taste the lobster and the mayo was too overpowering. Wouldn’t recommend eating here. You’re better off eating at Krusty Burger!

In search for some higher quality theme park food… and tired of the typical turkey leg and hot dogs. we waited for this spot to open at 11am. Something i find rather annoying is why food places are not open at earlier like when the park opens… The 9am-11am gap is pretty much food free in the park and for all those trying to get some breakfast… well your luck is gone. Was sat down immediately to what seemed like a pretty popular restaurant. Ordered the Lobster bisque and lobster roll, something to snack on and get the day started… but boy was the wait for the food looooooooonnggggg… Service here sucked… The bisque tasted really bad… i suggest refraining from ordering this… as a frequent seafood eater, this place got it all wrong. The lobster sandwich was mediocre… tasted like coleslaw rather lobster in a sandwich… ended up to be around $ 30 – 35 as well for just two items. Again… not really complaining that much because of the whole theme park pricing and what not… Again… waited for the check for a good 20 minutes and was had to miss one of shows at the Fear Factor live. Eventually rescheduled for a different showing… Great show by the way. Good audience interaction! Overall… a dull, overpriced restaurant but the theme park got you strugglin because the choices are limited. Head over to Krusty Burgers at the simpson’s side of the park to get a burger for less than $ 10. That my friend… was something decent for a theme park food!

The service was very nice and friendly. our waitress was very polite and patience with our son. The food is above the regular inside the park but still park food. The price was OK. Not overly priced. The ambiance was not great but is the best I experienced inside the park. Is like an oasis in the middle of the craziness inside the park.

Lombard’s was decent. I made reservations off of a friend’s recommendation. However, given the restaurants available in city walk, I regret not trying one of them. The menu was short and had very basic options. The atmosphere was bland for a theme park and food was neither terrible or fantastic. To fall in line with the mood of this place, I’m not too excited about this review so I’ll stop typing now.

I think this restaurant is underrated; it may be the best deal in Universal, but only if you go in off hours. The lobster corn bisque duo was so-so, but the corn bites were great. The prices were the same as a counter restaurant and the service was great. But you need to go at off times(we went at 8:00 pm for dinner) or else the place is a zoo.

I gave 4 stars for the following reasons 1. I personally would have given it 5 but because my family didn’t enjoy their meals I pushed it down a star 2. I got the Mahi Mahi for my main meal and thought it was great. I ate the whole thing and would recommend it 3. My parents got the beef medallions which came out cold and my brother got the noodle bowl and he didn’t like it, but gives no reason why.

We weren’t too sure about coming here, but we’re glad we did. Outstanding food AND service! We were famished after a hard day of hitting all the rides and attractions so we stopped in for early dinner. The hostess was gracious and we were seated right away. Our server, Tonja, made sure our drinks were full and that everything was served ASAP and piping hot. My husband ordered the mahi sandwich and it was perfectly seasoned. The fries were crispy and hot. I ordered the fish tacos and they were very unique: a fusion of Mexican and Asian. They were served with a base of white rice, covered with a zesty Dragon sauce and scallions with some other veggies. I ordered the mahi blackened and they get bonus points for actually warming the tortillas on the grill before putting the ingredients inside. It came with a side of potato salad which was small but fresh and delicious. We didn’t get dessert(not sure how much of a selection there was) but were very happy with our meal. Also, it was probably the best meal and value we got at any of the restaurants at all the parks here in Orlando.

Lombard’s has a great party room that I was fortunate enough to visit for a company event! We got the full VIP experience and I will say that Universal does it right! Lombard’s staff is very friendly, the pours are strong and the hors d’oeuvres keep coming. Very unique restaurant. The second story balcony is a great place to watch the water show at 7:00 as well! Hope to visit again sometime.

Food was not nearly as overpriced as I assumed it would be, I really think for what you get, the atmosphere and the portion size it was properly priced for Orlando. I have the fisherman’s basket, just a bunch of different fried seafood for $ 15 I think. I could have gone for a BIT more food on it, but for that price for shrimp, scallops, etc, I cannot complain. I also could have eaten way more of their rolls, but only when the roll still had some heat to it, once it cooled off the sourdough became too doughy for more, but for the first few minutes when the rolls were warm, they were awesome. The only complaint I have is that service was a little lacking, we went at about 2pm when there weren’t that many people there, and our server only came to the table maybe 3 – 4 times, most of the time she and 2 other servers were standing by the computers talking to each other. It’s certainly possible there was an issue with the computers they were trying to fix, but it didn’t look like that. All in all, a nice pleasant meal during a hot day at Universal.

This wasn’t so bad as the other restaurant in the park. Could be a four. 3.5. The waiting in line had my cousin upset because they didn’t beep us and didn’t notify us the beeper doesn’t signal outside. Food was okay. The clam chowder was tasty.

Service was great. Our waiter was really nice, I didn’t catch his name cause I was busy trying to cool down. My sisters ordered the Mac and cheese, fish and chip and I ordered the fisherman basket. I was a bit disappointed that you only get 1 fish, 2 shrimp. I don’t eat oysters so I wanted to substitute it. I only had the option of 1 extra shrimp or 1 extra fish. It was kinda pricy but at least the food was good. ESP being at a theme park where crap classic burger cost $ 10. I wouldn’t mind paying extra $ 5 for better food.
