If it was possible to give them 0 stars, I would. I have never dealt with such poor customer service. I scheduled an appointment over 2 weeks a head of time, because I knew my schedule with work was tight. I still had to wait 45 minutes before being seen and the whole process took 2 hours. I specifically had asked if they were able to preform a field of vision test prior to scheduling my appointment, because a doctor had suggested I get one done. On the phone, they told me wasn’t a problem. When I was finally seen and the test was done, the optometrist told me that the machine was not that good and did not provide any useful results. Only positive was that they credited me back for the test… The final straw was today when I requested a copy of my prescription, I was told not a problem. A few hours later, I still hadn’t received an email, so I called the office and was told they don’t send out emails until 6:30 because they were too busy. I explained that I wasn’t told this when I called originally and needed it before 5. I asked if that was possible and the response was«No, I am too busy with other patients.» ABSOLUTEWORST. I get being busy, but that shouldn’t stop you from at least being polite.

I will never come back to this place again. The optometry office is so poor run and on top of that they really need to have better customer service. Awful, going elsewhere next time.

Very pushy and unprofessional. Beware of up selling for your«necessities» be 100% sure of specifics on your benefits before you go, LensCrafters will tell you that you are not covered for different things and make you pay… For example«that frame is not compatible with a regular lens, you will have to get an ultra light super poly lens… «(further review on my very basic full frame, frame selection and a call to the store manager resulted in apologies and yes of course you can have the basic lens at no charge as your policy states). Also no glasses in an hour as promised

From the phone call to make the appointment to checking out with my new prescription and contacts my experience was fantastic. Everyone was very nice. I was getting headaches behind my right eye after being on my computer for 5 or more minutes and the doctor not only diagnosed the problem immediately but corrected it that day. I have not had a problem since and am forever grateful. A big thank you to all the staff and doctors at LensCrafters.

The worst customer service by the female manager — out of respect — I won’t call out her name — I will never go there. I spend over $ 500 between glasses and prescriptions annually, I would expect better treatment — they lost a valued customer!

Update: I decided to give this place another try and I was very pleased with their service. The staff was friendly and there was no wait time. Dr. Anderson was very helpful and seemed to generally care about her patients. They even offered me extra contact trials. Overall I was very satisfied with their service and not to mention a great location.

Came here for an eye exam and contacts. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. Made a follow up appointment for 3pm but didn’t see the doctor until 5. Avoid this place at all cost.

Abhorrent customer service. Nevertheless, «one stop shop”(having an optometrist, LensCrafter, in one building in the right location) is their only advantage. We have dealt their with the customer service at 3 different occasions. Each time the customer service has bungled badly. 1. The wait is Preposterous, sleeping bag may come in handy. 2. Most of the the employees are dissilient, dodging and dancing from those who have waited half of their day for service. Some are just good at pretending as if they’re busy. Let it be known, the cows will be home before you do. 3. They never call back, even if they promised they would. Don’t count on it. 4. The above review only applies to the LensCrafter side not the optometrist. Although the wait for the optometrist was also long but their customer service is much more tolerable. Solution: 1. Avoid weekends for sure. 2. Avoid LensCrafter at Waterford Lakes shopping center. 3. Read solution #2 again.

HORRIBLE Customer Service — WAITED Forever — PRICES High– NEVER Going Back. This was my experience –My daughter and I walked in at around 1:30 on a Thursday to try see if we could get an eye-exam for my daughter. Upon walking in, I approached the front desk, where a not so nice younger women(brown hair, lots of makeup/eyeliner) waited a few minutes before asking how she could help me. I replied telling her that we were there to see if they could accommodate a walk-in eye exam. The NOTNICE younger lady quickly replied«The Optometry doctor is over there» while pointing to the right side of store. STRIKEONE! Nothing like customer service making you feel UNWELCOME and STUPID simultaneously. Trying to stay optimistic, I went to the Optometry doctor side of store with a bad taste in my mouth for this place of business. The ladies there were nothing to wonderful, but a bit more helpful then then the last women. I asked for a walk-in eye exam(1:40pm), they said it would be 10 – 15 minute wait, because there were 2 people in front of me. Ok I thought, I can wait 15 minutes, no problem. Yea, right! 1 hour went by before they called us back(2:54pm — STRIKETWO!) only to do a three part process of an eye exam. First, they took pictures of my daughters eye in a dark room with some snazzy instruments, then they asked us to go back to the waiting room. We waited for another 20 minutes before they called us back a 2nd time to sit and get the eye exam portion with the doctor(Dr. Phen). After he did a thorough eye exam and explained everything, my daughter was given the dilation eye drops and told they take 20 minutes to work fully, so again we were sent out to the waiting room. Ugh! STRIKETHREE :( Good part is with all the waiting room time, I was able to google other near by eye glass places and find better places to give business and time to. I will say the doctor(Dr. Phen) was the only part of this review that was worth giving 4 stars to. Unfortunately getting to him, was NOTWORTH the HASSEL. If he had his own practice, maybe.

This is an update to my previous review, which can be seen below. I stopped by again after two months, because I found out that if you are charged for a Digital retinal imaging, most other optometrists in the area will actually email you a copy of those pictures! I went back to ask for a copy of that. Unfortunately for me, the same receptionist was there. After asking, she said«she’ll get back to me.» I pressed the issue a little bit, since I had a good feeling she wasn’t going to do anything. The other girl understood my plight, and attempted to take down my email and DOB to confirm that I really was the person(even though she was the same girl that did the Digital Retina Imaging last time!)… but that’s good. Patient privacy is good. Was told they’ll try to get it to be by the end of the day… the grouchy receptionist said«It’ll be done Monday!»(this was a Saturday morning, I believe) Not surprisingly, I never got an email from her. I decided to try out corporate. I sent an email to them, and received a reply back one full business day later. Email said I would be in touch with someone from this branch in 2 – 3 business days. 3 business days later, I received a follow up phone call from the manager of this LensCrafters. She apologized profusely, stated that I would be able to get a refund due to the … odd situation of not being told that I would’ve been charged. I reiterated the situation/story of how everything came to be INCLUDING the Digital Retina Imaging scan email request. I mentioned that if I received a refund OR the pictures, that’d be great. Even better if I got both, but I was not expecting it. Another day goes by, I believe. I receive a follow up email with the images(in theory these are my eyes!) and the head optometrist/owner of the optometry states she will call me later that day. She does! I think 6PM rolls around and I get a ring from her. She apologies, although from what I gather, the digital retina imaging thing… isn’t a one off thing… You will have to explicitly say I do not want it, or else it’ll be tied in with your eye exam. 3 stars for LensCrafters and optometrist follow up. Just disappointed I had to resort to corporate to get things resolved properly. Takeaways: Know whether or not your vision insurance covers Digital Retina Imaging and how much an eye exam is. Know where to complain if receptionist is being unruly. If you’re still reading this and still thinking about gambling it… hey man. Your funeral(or… in this case, your money that’s disappearing). Good luck.

Horrible customer service. Went in to pick up my new glasses and both people working there passed me 3 times without even acknowledging that I was there.
