Im surprised this place has such a low rating. Kekes is a great breakfast diner. I especially want to point out that they have really good homefries and pretty good coffee. This place falls between a nice brunch place and an inexpensive diner. Their prices are slightly more than a diner but I think that it’s worth it.

Corporate policy! Ridiculous! Wouldn’t sit my party because«they weren’t in the building yet»! We will definitely not patronize this or any other Keke’s again. I guess business is too good to do good business! There are too many options out there that appreciate their customers time and patronage. I feel badly for the hostesses who have to be the front line to the customers and enforce these stifling policies. We watched a group of four women walk out because their fifth person«would not be allowed to join them once they are seated.» The hostess actually said that! It’s «corporate policy!» Give me a break!

The food is always good. The portion size is good as well, we are always stuffed when we leave. Sometimes the wait can be a bit long, but we’ll worth it.

I came here for breakfast and the first thing I remember seeing was a good amount of people outside of the restaurant waiting to be seated. Once inside the hostess told me it would be a 30 minute wait, which I was fine with. We waited for around 26 minutes and we were then seated. The inside of the breakfast café is comfy, it’s not very decorated except for a few paintings of fruit on the wall. It does have a lot of booths which I could see being comfy for families and parties of 4 – 6. The waitress we got was very sweet and great with refilling our drinks. I ordered the eggs florentine and my fiancé ordered the eggs Benedict. We also ordered a side of four breakfast sausages for $ 3.99. The eggs florentine($ 9.49) were great, they tasted amazing and the home fries that they came with were very delicious. My only complaint is that my food was room temperature. The eggs Benedict($ 10.49) were also great according to my fiancé who ordered them. He said the eggs were Poached perfectly. He also said that his food was room temperature though, which was a disappointment. The sausages we ordered were also room temperature. Overall, the service was great and the server we had was nice. If you’re coming here for breakfast expect to wait for a good amount of time. On the way out of the restaurant the crowd of people waiting was twice the one that was there coming in. The food itself was very good however everything I got was room temperature which is very upsetting because I like my food hot.

Unbelievable clean restaurant. I really appreciate that. The server, I forgot her name, young blond girl, was awesome. She did a great job, was friendly, and always stopped by to check on us. The food… Nothing impressive. I had the eggs Benedict and they literally had no flavor. They looked good, but no taste at all. My father had scrambled eggs, toast and potato fries. The«eggs» looked like it was more like a half an egg. Very small portion. I won’t be stopping by this Keke’s again. I’m going to try the Dr. Philips one in two weeks. I sure hope the food is better. If not, another poor review will be coming.

Décor: 4⁄5 –Lots of booths and tables that comfortable seat parties of up to 6(maybe more) Service: 4⁄5 –We came on a Saturday and waited about 45 mins for a party of 6. –Friendly southern server that consistently checked up on us without being annoying Food: 5⁄5 –Home fries — deliciously decadent –Stuffed waffles is more like a sandwich waffle however I’m not complaining. It comes in four cuts and will fill you up sweetly. –Fresh juice and hand spun chocolate milk. My whole party was content with their drinks and food.

This place is great. I have basically no complaints about any Keke’s that I have been to. Just an observation… since this place seems always packed, even though the staff is ultra friendly and attentive(and the quality and presentation of the food is always superb), the always seems rushed. On several occasions, with different servers, I have felt like the leave while basically speaking to me and taking my order. It does not affect the service, but it just feels like they are rushing you… plus right after you receive the food, you get the check. They do clarify, «no rush», but they don’t even verify if you want something else… so it does seem rushed.

Not happy with this restaurant. First time I went I found cat hair in my food, manager laughed about it, played it off as his servers hair. Next time we went in we found egg shells in our scrambled eggs, when we complained the manager just took everything away and dropped off our bill. He didn’t even take the shell eggs off not to mention taking away half my meal that was left. I used to like this place but their sub par server staff accompanied by their even more sub par manager made this experience aweful. I will never be going back

Decided to go to the new Keke’s for lunch today and am very glad I did. Fortunately word hasn’t gotten out yet that it’s now open for business and there were many tables available. We both had 2 different salads with chicken, one fried and one grilled, and they were fantastic — still not sure which one I liked better. Place was attractive, clean, servers were friendly and efficient, and the food came out in a decent amount of time. I will definitely be returning — most likely tomorrow!

This was my first ever Keke’s experience. Everything was wonderful, except the wait. Never having been to one before, I was surprised to see so many people waiting outside to be seated. We were given a buzzer and told it would take about 30 minutes to be seated. And it did take that long. Usually waiting is not an issue for me but this just happened to be a surprisingly cold Sunday morning, in Florida. The wind was blowing especially hard increasing the chill factor tremendously. Luckily we were able to find bench seats inside after some while but had to squeeze uncomfortably tight amongst other patrons. Once seated by the hostess, our server greeted us at our booth. The service was exceptional, prompt, and helpful. Since I had so much time to wait, I already had time to look at the menu on Unilocal.I ordered the hot chocolate and decided to go with cream cheese filled French toast. The fruit options all looked delicious so I asked the waiter what he would recommend. He suggested blueberry because it was his personal favorite and he did not steer me wrong. The hot chocolate was very good. The whipped cream was dense and appeared to be the real homemade stuff. The hot chocolate warmed me up immediately – I was tempted to get a second cup. My breakfast was the perfect amount of sweet. I had never eaten anything like it before and was pleased to try something completely new. And the serving was just right – I had the option to make it a combo but that would have made me overfull. I definitely see myself coming back again with friends and family.

Solid spot for a clean or traditional breakfast as this isn’t your place for bloody Mary’s or mimosas. Typically there is a wait, but should be 20 min max from experience. The service is always great and the breakfast is pretty standard. I would recommend the granola bowl as it is tasty and filling if you want a sweet treat.

This is such a busy location, I am looking forward to OViedos location opening up this week. However the French toast at this place is like heaven. I had the raspberry stuffed french toast, with their breakfast potatoes, and a side of bacon. All extremely satisfactory. The service was top notch. The prices I felt were very reasonable. I just wish their coffee was a better brand, but its still very good and freshly brewed. Would highly recommend.

I love keke’s and have been to this location twice and both times have been a disappointment. This last time my boyfriend orders eggs Benedict and the eggs were cooked to almost hard. I ordered a western omelette and it was over cooked too. The only pleasant experience was the waiter. He was very nice to have the eggs Benedict redone, but even then the eggs were not cooked as they should of. Never going back to this location.

Plan to come early. After 11, lunch rush gives you a 20 – 30 minute wait. We ordered the Southwest Omelette, Buffalo Omelette, and the Banana Nut Stuffed French Toast. Southwest was freaking good, it had jalepenos, peppers, and a chipotle sauce. It tasted like a burrito in an omelette form. The Buffalo chicken was mostly all cheese and Franks Hot Sauce. Chicken was good where I found it. The French Toast wasn’t proportionate to the cost(9.99), and the filling was only on the edges. Still super sweet, just could have been more filling. Our server was curt and polite with minimal attention, but we came during lunch hour, so no complaints. Overall, tasty breakfast fare, that filled both my and my boyfriend to the brim.

This is probably the worst Kekes location in town. I frequent here often number one because there’s not a lot of breakfast places in Waterford Lakes and it’s close to my home. I’ve noticed a decline on customer service. At any given time you will see the majority of servers just standing around in the middle area not doing anything. Today we were seated fairly quick. Another couple was seated right after us and I overheard the hostess ask for their drink orders. Meanwhile, we were sitting there and nothing. It was a good 10 minutes before the manager realized no one was helping us. We were seated fairly close to where the servers were standing so they knew we weren’t being helped. The manager went over to the group of about 5 servers to let them know that we needed help. A nice young lady came over and took our drink orders and explained that our assigned waiter was taking an order but he would be over shortly. I realized quickly that our assigned server was new. He was a little nervous. I felt bad for him. Honestly one of his coworkers should have stepped up to the plate to help without the manager getting involved. While we were waiting for our order, a little girl spilled what looked like a milkshake on the floor. One of the hostesses literally walked right by the spill and didn’t even acknowledge there was an issue. Luckily one of the other servers finally noticed and came over to clean it up. Once our food order was placed, things went pretty smooth. Our food came out in an acceptable time. I will say that I’m not a fan of their omelettes. I decided to try something different than what I usually order and chose the Western Omelette which has onion, ham, cheese and green peppers. It was dry and barely had any cheese. Honestly the best part of the meal was my coffee. At $ 2.50, I got my fair share. Usually you have to chase someone down for refills but today they were more attentive. Hopefully they will get their act together in the customer service department.

After my visit today, I now remember why I stopped coming to this restaurant. Today was a bit of a mess. My friend and I got there and were seated pretty quickly. Our server took our drink orders. We did take a while to order as we were chatting to catch up. However, once we ordered it took longer than necessary to bring our food. We saw several tables get the food rather quickly and yet we still waited… I’m sorry but it does not take long for French toast, and a check wrap to be prepared. Once my food arrived, I had to ask for new fries as mine were cold and stale. I had to wait another several minutes for new fries that should have been placed on the plate with a napkin or something to soak up the extra grease. Our server was not the greatest and then charged me for a tiny side of honey mustard sauce that was on my wrap. Which would have been fine if he would have told me there was a fee when I asked him for it. Overall, this place is a bit over priced for what you get. That being said I do enjoy their waffles and the options for turkey bacon and sausage. But feel this maybe my last visit.

Super disappointed with Keke’s so called blueberry waffle. And they wanted to charge me extra for the berries funny right! KEKE’s do yourself a favor take the blueberry waffle off the menu. Other than that it’s a pretty good place.

Last time I was here was my first time and I got something off their lunch menu item. I wanted to go ahead and finally write a review after I had eaten what they are known for: breakfast! So last week I stopped by for breakfast at around 10:30am. It was a weekday and I had usually avoided this place because I heard stories of the long wait but we were seated after 20 mins. My friend was telling me how good the stuffed french toast was so I got the raspberry stuffed french toast. Our server pointed out that we can do a combo that comes with 2 sides for like $ 1 more. $ 9.99 total. Sounded good to me so I got potatoes and eggs as my sides. I was really disappointed they don’t have hash browns as that is my favorite breakfast item but oh well. The food itself was great, the eggs were ordinary but the French toast was nice and not dry with sprinkled confectioners sugar on top. The service itself was fast. I remember I had class that day and was in and out in about an hour and a half. Perfect way to start my final semester!

Keke’s is always a treat, just don’t expect to walk in and directly sit down unless you come on an odd day and hour. On the occasions I do get in the door the food is always great and the servers are always fast and helpful. I love the egg white omelets and my boyfriend loves the Florida pancakes. We would likely be in every Sunday morning if the wait was not out the door, but just like they say: good things come to those who wait.

I’m kinda surprised to see so many mediocre reviews for this keke’s. I know its always packed and the wait can be long but doesn’t that tell you something? tells me its gonna be good eats. I don’t visit keke’s THAT much but when i do my meal is always excellent and filling. can get a bit pricey depending on what you get though it wont always be. On my last visit here i had the French toast combo, with eggs scrambled and side of sausage. this meal is only 9.99, .50 cents for the cheese i added to my eggs made it 10.49. followed by a large chocolate milk which taste freaking amazing that cost 3.00, i cant complain too much. The french toast with a simple cinnamon powdered sugar taste amazing, absolutely love it. At the end of the day, you’re gonna pay a little more here than you would at your local ihop or denny’s but i mean its always gonna be Quality over Quantity in life. And at keke’s, you get both. Just look at the darn pancake sizes! And if you don’t want waiting to be pain. don’t come starving-starving, or try to find a better time slot to come in.
