The Saloon was very well kept. All the stylists were very busy at the time. The Manager Ms. Davis was very friendly and accommodating to myself and all incoming and outgoing customers. It was a great experience that place was just buzzing with good conversation and enthusiasm of all. Very enjoyable. I will diffently go back. FORGETTHERESTGOTOTHEBEST. The Best in Otero County.

I really don’t know how to rate this store, so I guess at this point the good and the bad just kind of average out to 3 stars. Not included in the review is how much I hate this mall. See: I bought my fiancée’s engagement ring here initially. Charge it to a Kay account and there’s no interest for a year. Even with the $ 1k down payment, it was like adding another car payment to the finances, but I didn’t have to pay interest and I got it paid off within the year. The purchase also included a discount on future purchases(valid for 6 months), basically giving you $ 100 off of every $ 300 spent. So that’s cool, I got both of our wedding bands using the certificates and ended up saving almost $ 600. Now, we have had occasional problems where our rings come in from being resized or whatever and then we never get a phone call to pick them up. We were there a while back to pick out the wedding bands, and at the time there was nothing available that matched her engagement ring. The employee suggested we pick something close, and they’ll send it out to have it reshaped to match. Then if we didn’t like how it fit, we could just refuse it and we would get a full refund. Then, a couple of months after it had been sent out, we got a call saying«Good news! They just came out with a wedding band specifically designed to match your exact engagement ring.» So we went back to the store at their request, and they didn’t have it in stock. Why ask us to come in? They promised to get one for us to look at – they had to special order it by putting a temporary hold on my charge account for the cost of the ring. We were promised that once they both came in, we could compare them and pick the one we liked best. Months later, we decide to call since we were never notified, and they could only find one of the rings. We came back again to sort it out, and it turns out that the original, reshaped band had been misfiled and they had to search through everything to find it. To their credit though, nothing was actually missing, and we were able to select the newer, better fitting band instead of the reshaped one. And the discount certificates I had applied to the reshaped one still carried over to the new one.
