J.Crew Mall at Millenia

I am absolutely in love with everything JCrew. I worked at JCrew for a year and I am so so sad about the two previous reviews, because I personally always tried my hardest to provide excellent customer service to every customer.
One day, I had a customer who asked for khakis and I literally brought him 5 pairs to the fitting room! I thought it was a big excessive but he definitely got what he was looking for!
I always had great customers. Obviously with great style! One thing about JCrew is that the quality is phenomenal. Even though the clothing is a bit pricey, you are truly paying for the quality that you get with each piece of clothing.
I bought way too much clothes when I worked there! I am pretty sure I don’t go one day without wearing at least one JCrew item :)

3.5 Stars, really. Unlike Cecille, I did have some good service. However, it was spotty. One lady didn’t seem to necessarily care much about my pondering if they had their Stantons in British Khaki (although it did look like she was busy with something, but still!) but another male associate was very helpful and looked pleased to scan the store and find them for me.
The store itself is well laid out and clean. J. Crew in general usually has a very pleasing and simple setup to their stores and this one is no different, although it can get busy and crowded on peak days during the Holiday season. The men’s department is, per usual, stuffed all the way in the back… but I’ve come to understand that chicas get the special treatment in retail!
Anyhow, considering this is the only J. Crew in the Orlando area, minus the factory stores, this is kind of all we J. Crew nuts have to hive around. So that’s that.
(Tip: Come near the end of Summer — anytime in August — and they might have some awesome sales. The Stanton shorts I bought were 30% off and the broken-​in v-​necks and crewnecks were 25% off. So awesome!)

I don’t normally stop in this store because, although the merchandise is beautiful, the customer service is lacking. I have had past experiences of walking in with no greeting from anyone or offer of help.
I decided to stop in on Black Friday. They were doing 30% off everything in store so it was fairly packed especially in the clearance section which you could barely maneuver through because customers were blocking the aisle. I was looking at shoes and drifted off to the sale items and noticed some shoes on sale. Took some boxes of shoes to the seating area to try on. Not once did anyone approach me or ask me if I needed anything. Granted, it was busy but several associates walked by and I got nothing.
The only time I was approached when when I had already decided I was purchasing the items and then everyone came out of the woodwork offering to «hold the items».
Overall, I don’t mind shopping here but won’t expect any kind of customer service besides someone opening a fitting room or offering to hold items behind a counter.
