It’s a buffet. Golden Corral features a large selection of salads, entrées and desserts. This location is a model store. I find it challenging to write reviews for something like this. Because while it’s not my favorite style of restaurant it was the choice of a large group. And for a large group and a short amount of time, it was really the perfect choice. Everyone was able to eat what they wanted to essentially serve themselves. And speaking of service, waitresses were very good. If you want a very diverse and huge selection of food, this might be the place for you. As far as buffets go, this one delivers.

So gross. I went once and will probably never go again. Crowded and cheap quality food. I can see why maybe large family’s looking to save money might go, but I would avoid this option at all costs.

As Golden Corrals go, this one is very nice. It’s cleaner and calmer than other locations we frequent. If you come at the beginning of lunch you can still catch some breakfast items. I wish this location were closer to home. PROTIP: If you need mayo, you’ll have to ask your server. Best to ask and wait for it before getting your food. Otherwise it will be cold by the time your server stops by.

Golden Corral is an American themed buffet restaurant, so I had no idea what to expect go into this establishment. Walking in, you have to go to a cashier and pay for the buffet and select drinks. Our cashier, a young lady, seemed to uninterested and wasn’t really paying attention. This didn’t bother me that much. Seating was decent. It was crowded, but not over crowded, so my children and I found a good table where we placed our drinks. The buffet selection was very heterogeneous. Ranging from meats, to veggies to grains, soups, nearly every food imaginable was available. Although many people were collecting food, the lines moved very quick. Some of the silverware and plates were dirty, which displeased me. Additionally, people were coughing and sneezing everywhere, which is very gross. The other customers seemed to be enjoying their time at the restaurant. The clientele was odd, however. There was lots of unattended children wandering around, causing messes, screaming, running around and other irritable actions. The desserts were probably the highlight of the meal. There was fudge, a chocolate fountain, pies, cobblers, cotton candy, cakes, brownies, cookies and so much more. The fudge was exquisite. The cookies and brownies were very dry, however. The chocolate fountain was warm, but had a metal taste to it, which repelled me from it. Fortunately, the meal satisfied us. We were full, but we probably won’t dine here anytime soon because of the various unhealthy choices and lack of healthy foods.

One has to remember that first and foremost that this is a buffet and that the general rule is quality takes a second place to quantity. Also, I am not comparing this Golden Corral to other regular restaurants, just to buffets. With that said, I feel that this is one of the best Golden Corrals that I have eaten at. the food that was supposed to be cold was cold and what was supposed to be hot was hot. The food was not dry or stale but was moist and tasty. There is the usual Golden Corral variety. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. Overall, if you like buffets, I would recommend this one highly.

This place is really clean. The staff are pleasant and friendly. Our waiter while not chatty, was attentive and frequently made sure we were ok. A fabulous variety of really fresh, delicious food. From salads with house made dressings to grilled steak done to your liking. The desert bar is varied and delicious. The chocolate fountain was well maintained and had a great choice of things to smother from fruit to marshmallows. There is a constant bustle in the kitchen and food is changed with frequency. The bathrooms, while a little small, were clean and smelled that way. The staff obviously takes pride in their location and it shows. Would come back and would defiantly recommend. The price was about $ 70 for 3 adults with drinks and 2 children. We all left very satisfied with the kids asking«when are we coming back?».

My experience at this location was pretty terrible. Most of the food that I tried were quite salty or dry. The only decent item was the baked fish. The grilled pork chop was highlighted to be good by a few people in my family so I went to try it. Unfortunately, the batch I picked up was completely inedible, it was salty to the point of me needing to spit it out. The women’s bathroom was a mess; the trash cover was on the counter, which was also wet and had a few pieces of used tissues. Overall, this Golden Corral was a mess and did not give me a good impression on my first visit to this buffet chain. I’ll most likely stay away in the future.

I went to this location yesterday and was beyond disappointed and quite frankly deserved to get my money back. When we walked in every available table was dirty with the prior occupants feed and dishes. When we asked one of the waiters to clean a table off for us. He just stood there and stared at us. Very rude! It took us asking 2 waiters before getting help. When I went to get a plate it was dirty! Had mashed potatoes all over it and a few plates under it. I thought they washed these things. The floor had food all over it. I just couldn’t bring myself to eat much of anything there. I tried some fried fish and veggies. That wasn’t even good. I will never go to any Golden Corral… Ever!

I just had lunch here at their new location on international Drive. I must say the place was immaculate the food was hot and fresh and my server was very attentive. Before leaving I went to use the restroom to wash my hands while washing my hands and one of their employees came out from one of the stalls and did not wash his hands. I’m not giving this restaurant a low score due to the ignorance of one employee and I’m also not ignorant to the fact they cannot control what each and every person does or does not do.

After flying from San Diego all day, checking in the hotel, it was 8pm, and I was hungry. The food is ok not the best. Fish had no flavor and the barbecue pork chop is just ok. The pot roast was good though.

Our experience at the Golden Corral was as good as the banna pudding they offer– great. The restaurant was clean, and the nice thing was that the food was fresh. Also, the layout of the restaurant was nice and I never felt crowded, even though the restaurant was almost at full capacity. Lastly, the service was good and I never got thirsty because of the fast refills. On the downside, if your a health critic, this is NOT for you. There are many dishes that are not very unhealthy. Lastly, there needs to be some improvement on cleanliness at the actual buffet part of the restaurant. Bottom Line: Definitely come if you are looking to get full with some good old country cooking.

Because this restaurant has a supposedly western name… I will highlight The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly of my dinner time experience. Good: The dining room was very clean, you can tell this place is new. Staff was friendly and attentive. There was noticeable hustle and bustle in the kitchen, changing out old food with fresh. Our server cleared the dirty plates and refilled our drinks at a reasonable timely pace. Most of the food was actually pretty good. I came in the door with fairly low expectations, and left pleasantly surprised(not to mention very full). Try the banana pudding dessert, it is legitimately the best I’ve ever had. Bad: The bathrooms were small and dirty. The cleanliness in there did not match the rest of the restaurants high standards. The turkey was dry, very overcooked. These may seem like petty complaints, but it was only fair that I put them in the review. Ugly: As with any buffet… Unsupervised children are the bane of a peaceful dining experience. People… I know the buffet is good, but put down your fork and watch your darn kids!!! Kids running in and out of the bathroom, kids being loud at their tables, kids going up to the chocolate fountain or buffet unsupervised and making a mess… It puts unnecessary stress on the already heavily-burdened staff, and makes other diners who have stood in hour long lines with screaming toddlers all day at Mickeyland cringe!!! Also, there were some pretty grungy looking diners in the place when I visited. I’m all for eating in comfort, but hairy chested men with gold chains: please leave your tank tops and cut offs at home. And ladies… Cover up(enough said). ^None of the things I just reviewed were in the restaurant’s control, so I didn’t include that in the overall score. I just wanted to warn my fellow Unilocalers what they may be getting into. Bottom line: good food and service for a moderate price. The clientele leaves something to be desired, but don’t let that stop you from stopping by the Good Ol Golden Corral!!! 4⁄5

I happened to be driving by this Golden Corral location last Thursday(May 7) week and decided to stop in for lunch. It was well past 1:00 p.m., and this was the first time I had been here, so I was not familiar with the procedure at the register. At the Golden Corral I go to on Semoran Boulevard, I am always given a tray with my beverage when I pay for my meal. At this location, I was just given my drink. When I asked about trays, the cashier told me that they do not give out trays. The cashier was polite and friendly when explaining their procedures to me. When I told her about being given a tray at other Golden Corral locations, the manager gave me an attitude. Sorry, but I am just getting familiar with the process. I took my drink(minus tray) and selected a table. The food was good, especially the fried chicken. Crispy and lightly breaded. The salad bar had plenty of selections for making a salad, there is a taco and soup bar, plus the usual entrée selections. The awesome pot roast and the meatloaf are usual suspects, and there is pizza and stir fry specialties offered as well. There were a few issues I had with this location. First of all were the tables located right by the buffet. If you ever have been to a Golden Corral, walking along the buffet can be a problem, with people bumping into one another or someone stepping right in front of you as you go to select an item on the buffet. With tables close by, it makes for less room when to walk when it is busy. Although the food was good, the selection was not as good as other Golden Corral buffets I have been to. It appears that this buffet is limited to size of this location, being at the end of a plaza This is a smaller Golden Corral as compared to the larger locations I have been to. Another problem I had was with the server. Only once did he bring me out a refill for my drink. And when walking by my table on his way to take dishes from another table to the service station, he took a plate off my table that still had food on it. «Um, sorry. But I wasn’t finished with that yeast roll just yet.» The layout of the restaurant regarding the bathrooms are also a concern. Bathrooms are located to the side of the building, with having to walk down a long, narrow hallway to use the rest rooms. For a healthy teenager or adult, this is no problem. But for an elderly or handicapped person, this is not convenient. And if you are a parent who has an emergency with a child, it makes for an even more inconvenience. Especially if it is crowded. Very seldom am I on International Drive. And the next time I am in the area, I will most likely pass this Golden Corral by. The food was good, although the selection of items available was not as plentiful as other Golden Corrals. I also felt like I was being rushed, even though it was after the busy lunch hour. Only getting one drink refill and having a plate taken off my table that had food on it left me rather crossed, especially when my server had time to talk to guests at another table about the time he lived in Altamonte Springs. International Drive has plenty of other restaurants to try. And I’ll remember to do that when I am down there next time.

Deuxième étape: on paie. Huitième étape: Je pars me coucher. Du coup, nous y sommes retourné le lendemain ! Une très bonne adresse à Orlando !
