Been to several different Mexican restaurants and this one is good. Chips and salsa brought to table to start. I’ve had many different dishes over the years from pork chops to shrimp and to my favorite steak fajitas and liked them all My friend had the soft chimichanga and she enjoyed it. Several friends said the Sangria wasn’t sweet enough, but they enjoyed the meal and would go back. Mariachi band on weekends add a nice touch. I also like the fact that it’s not smack in the middle of the tourist area. I’d say try it you won’t be disappointed.

I do go here from time to time and order the burrito roho for lunch. Usually the meat is over cooked and not tender. I still enjoy the flavored so continue to order. I also like the traditional chips and salsa that many Mexican restaurants provide but once again the salsa is beginning to loose the flavor that was once much enjoyed. The kitchen needs to be more consistent with the food from service to service. They can do better. Went today 4÷19÷16, had the burrito rojo. I was shocked with the meal. The portion was reduced by at least 30%. The flatware had food staid and the chips were stale and some were burned. Then the last straw was I found a frozen tomato in the salsa. All for the $ 15 price including tip.

The drink was delicious(a little over priced). The taco salad was really great. I was kind of disappointed that i was paying $ 10 for a burrito and it didn’t come with anything no beans, rice nothing. so i asked for something different… But the service was good

I had the tamales and it was okay. The plate came out so fast that they didn’t even want to pretend that it was freshly made. You get complimentary chips and salsa but they’re not very good. The chips were all broken and the salsa was very watery. There are better Mexican restaurants around town.

In Orlando Florida for a vacation. We love Mexican food, but FINDING authentic Mexican food in Upstate, New York is few and far between. We decided to try Garibaldi’s Mexican Cuisine and WELOVEDIT! It was amazing! We were served some salsa and chips first, which were yummy. We ordered beef tacos, beef enchiladas, and beef burrittos. Our food was very good. Good atmosphere, good server, good prices & great food! We liked it so much that we wound up going back for more before we left for Syracuse, NY!

This has been our family’s top favorite Mexican restaurant for years. We have celebrated many wonderful occasions here — and never been disappointed… not once. The wait staff is nice — smiling, and the food is fast, hot — and absolutely delicious. Great drinks — my favorites are the chicken verde enchiladas, the chili relleno, and port tips with pico, guac, tortillas. yumm — the marinated pork«hunks» were tender and flavorful. We have had many more dishes and enjoyed them. I feel bad for people that might come once, and if everything in a restaurant is not perfect in every single way(in their opinion) — they are so harsh. When these reviewers can prepare a meal for me at home that I deem perfect — I’ll listen more carefully lol.

Burrito was good and service was ok too, but this place is in desperate need of cleaning. Menu was dirty. Exterior windows are filthy inside and outside too, as was the men’s room mirror. Makes me think the kitchen may be the same??? If so, yuck!

I’m not sure about these recent posts but I really like Garibaldis. I go once or twice a month for lunch. The lunch menu is very good and fairly priced. I have not had a bad waiter/waitress and the food is prepared promptly. I have visited both locations(South Orlando and Apopka) but frequent the sand lake location by my office. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good Mexican food. My meals of choice for lunch are the Burrito Ranchero and Mexican Taco Salad.

I’m so torn about this review. I love Mexican food. It is my all-time favorite. It takes A LOT for me to say ‘nah’ to any Mexican food offered to me. This place had one really great pro– the enchiladas rancheras. The pork was perfect and had crispy bits. Well done. Unfortunately — everything else. It was dead over lunch on a Saturday and it took far too long for the server, who I saw loitering by the bar, to come over. The chips and salsa were not good. I didn’t eat the FREE chips and salsa. ME! *sigh* he sides of Guacamole and pico were both terrible, and my beer was watery. It’s hard for me to justify ever giving them a second chance, but I’ve heard good things about their evening specials. And that pork! Ugh– torn.

This is a not good Mexican food it is overpriced and there is NO lunch menu for the weekend. The servings are small and it has lost its attention to detail. It used to be a lot better. They also tack on a 18 percent SERVICEFEEUNBELIEVABLE! !

Consistently great food! This is the best Mexican restaurant I’ve eaten at in years! Definitely, a welcome and refreshing change from chain restaurants!

Not bad. A solid average Mexican place. The sangria is not homemade. The salsa is good. The fajitas aren’t bad.

This place is great! I happenef in at happy hour. Lucky me because the margarita were«on point» we enjoyed the sampler but we were wowed by the fajitas. Dont confuse this one with the Semoran location– this one much much better.

Worst service ever. It’s pretty sad because this is one of our favorite places to go to eat. We go at least once a week. Today when we went and the bartender was beyond rude. First off we sat for 20 mind before we were even asked what we want. Finally when Jose came he got very rude because my husband was smoking his vapor pen. Which has never been a problem. Normally when we come Luis is the bartender and he is excellent! Unfortunately because of the rudeness of Jose we probably won’t ever return unless we know ahead of time to make sure Jose isn’t working. For the main fact I go out to get for a nice experience. Not to deal with someone like Jose. He is definitely in the wrong type of work. Management Should talk to him about his rudeness towards customers and waiting 20 mins to take orders. Very displeased.

Unfortunately this was just a very bad all around experience. The server was friendly, but was just more interested in talking with other servers then doing things… like bringing our drinks when they were up at the service bar, or filling up waters, or checking up on the food after delivery. We saw another patron get up and walk over and get our server while she was in a conversation with another server on the floor just messing around, so she could get her attention that she wanted the check. I ordered carne asada, and it was very close to inedible. It was a flat steak as thin and dry as I’ve ever seen… it no joke looked like the sole of a shoe. The rice and beans also tasted a little off, not sure what that was. The salsa and chips were good… and they were the only item that was not a wreck.

We came here for dessert and we were really disappointed. We ordered fried ice cream and it tasted like the ice cream was roll around in stale corn flakes then covered in cheap chocolate syrup. The deep fried tortilla bowl it came in also tasted salty.

This was by far, the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I think the management needs to have a talk with Edgar L. and be sure to let him know to not act like an inconsiderate moron. He stood at the table next to us, joking and laughing with the customers while we waited for 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken. It was not busy for him to not attend our table for that long. He also charged us for more than we ordered and when we consulted him about it, he acted as though we were in the wrong and approached our table very aggressively to find out later that he was actually wrong. I have never ever in my life left a restaurant with such bad energy and just because someone doesn’t speak your language, it doesn’t mean you need to treat them like dirt. The food, I have nothing to say about. I didn’t like it but everyone is different. To some people it may be good Mexican food but for me it was not. You can be the judge yourself. I don’t want to say anything bad about the food, just the awful customer service.
