I have really enjoyed Flippers for a lot of years, but the last time I ordered my usual salad, it was a total mess. When I say the antipasto was diced, I mean shredded. Here is the exact response I got from corporate:

I apologize for the delayed response. We recently updated our menu and made some changes on our procedures. All of our dinner salads are now chopped salads, this includes the Antipasto Salad. If you prefer the way we used to make just let the person taking your order know your preference.

This is a very nice pizza place. It is way bigger in the inside than what it seems in the outside. We had a traditional medium pizza and it was perfect for two. We were able to customize it half and half which was great. They open late night which is very nice considering that not many restaurants open late night during week days in South Downtown. The flavor of the ingredients was fresh and good. Would recommend and come back. I wanted dessert and they didn’t have any available but they were kind enough to give us a 10% discount because of that.

Ordered an extra large supreme, then was told that «a large is the perfect pizza“and that «we don’t offer an extra large anymore». I also added 8 wings, that were very small, my total was $ 32.xx, plus a tip, $ 39.xx. When it arrived it looked like a medium sized from any other major pizza provider. The price was absolutely outrageous for one pizza and 8 small wings! When I called and asked for a manager, Cabe or Gabe answered, and I was told that it was a «corporate price decision» and that he was «sorry I felt that way» and to «have a good night» then immediately hung up on me… I will tell everyone I know to not order anything from this establishment.ever.

I stopped by for lunch today and decided to order their Philly Cheesesteak pizza (personal sized) from their Lunch Special which also came with a fountain drink/​tea. The pizza was topped with banana peppers, bell peppers and thinly-​sliced steak and had a real nice taste. The melted cheese was flavorful and mingled nicely with all the toppings. I opted for the regular crust which struck a perfect balance between crispy and chewy; it created a good bite.
A negative note is that it should have been $ 8.09, but they charged me $ 13. I didn’t have much time left on my break so I didn’t complain, but that was a bummer. I went from thinking I had a good tasting pizza at a good price to feeling disappointed; it left a bad taste in my mouth.
I doubt I’ll be back in the area anytime soon, but I’ll be more likely to visit other Flippers’ locations in my area.

Food was ok, nothing to write home about. Server left to get me a refill and never returned until I was completely finished. Then On my check they charged me over a $ 1 for ranch to go with my wings. I was asked if I wanted ranch and said yes, but was never told it was an up charge. They did give me credit back, just a hassle though.

I ordered a pizza delivery from them when I was in Orlando weeks ago. Since then I have been contacted by them via call and text 8 or more times to tell me my pizza was ready/​on its way. I’ve been out of Florida for weeks. I have asked them to stop calling and blocked a few numbers, but they keep calling.

I am sorta a pizza snob and only eat pizza if it’s mellow mushroom or flippers. For a chain semi fast food restaurant Flippers is amazing ! The dough is perfection and they have so many delicious toppings
I absolutely love their Tuscan chicken salad as well! So many flavors for a salad and the balsamic that comes on it is soooo good! Did I mention everything is fresh ingredients and never frozen? Thank you Flippers! !

Descent food but appalling service. Kimberly was very disrespectful, slow and was rude when we asked her to correct our order which came out incorrectly. The manager was equally awful. Never going to this location again. Unimpressed

I had the italian sandwich today. I was pressed for time and the server Hope was great. She helped me get everything I needed fast. The sandwich was the perfect temperature and taste. I like the price on the lunch menu that includes a drink. The «My Pie» is pretty good and the calzones too. I tend to stay predominantly with those 3 items. I like Flippers. I am never disappointed. Everything is fresh.

This was my first trip to Flippers and it was amazing. My mother and I ordered cheese breadsticks for an appetizer, a calzone, and a my pie (Which is just a personal pizza) for a main course, all of them were excellent, full of flavor, and left us full. The only thing I have to really complain about was the slow service… barely anyone was in the restaurant, yet it took forever for both the appetizer and the main courses to come. Price was also, very reasonable. Was $ 23 total.

We had the Flippers Big Pie. It was delicious. Real sausage, real mushrooms real everything. I love pizza places that have that authentic taste not that artificial sauce flavor. This is really good. And the customer service as well. They great you the minute you walk in the door. Worth the trip

Great pizza!!! Went in the first time, ordered a large pepperoni pizza, took a bite of it as soon as it came out and burnt the heck out of my mouth. I ate the rest of the pizza the best I could. 1 week later I’m driving with my wife and I randomly say: «Man, that flippers pizza was good but I couldn’t enjoy it, let’s go again.» Let’s just say I let it properly cool this time and oh boy was it even better than I remembered! Lol, if you haven’t been, add it to your «to do» list!!!

Located in the SODO plaza, Flipper’s has a following. I had never sampled their pizzas before, but had a chance on a recent visit. We started with an order of bread sticks, which were very tasty. Smothered in garlic and parm with a side of maranara. The regular crust was a good pizza, my friends and I ordered the Bianca and the BBQ chicken. We thought the Bianca pizza was good, but the raved about the BBQ chicken pizza. I had a Greek Salad (no ham), which was fresh and tasty. I had enjoyed it before, I would say it’s just as good as I remembered.
Dining in, the service was very nice. Our server checked in on our group often and had great recommendations. Which, brings me to the Tuscan Mac and Cheese– which was the stand out favorite of the night and something we would not have tried without her recommendation. Pretty surprised and would recommend to anyone in the area.

Absolutely awful. My pasta was crunchy from sitting under a heating lamp for too long, which also made the meatballs rubbery, and the sauce was not very good. My friend’s pizza had no flavor aside from the crust. Service was extremely slow. We got chicken wings and asked for them crispy, but they did not come out that way. Come to find out they cook them in the over and they are not fried.
We barely ate anything on our plates and we were clearly upset about our meals and the manager never came over to apologize or see if she or he could do anything for us. Instead, the waiter spoke to the manager and they gave us 30% off of our meals which wasn’t much for the amount of food left on our table.
I will not be going back.

I really enjoyed my pizza here! I ordered the Mediterranean Chicken and my boyfriend ordered the Philly Cheesesteak. I chose to get the thick crust dough because I’m a maniac for crust on a pizza and it was great! Crunchy, thick and delicious! Almost like the pan pizza at Pizza Hut only noticeably less greasy.
My boyfriend’s pizza tasted just like a Philly Cheeseteak which isn’t my favorite thing in the world — it was super greasy but he seemed to enjoy it. Our service was prompt and I took the leftovers home for lunch. Great little alternative to the typical delivery places out there.
