The Venezuelan burger was horrible! Food is of poor quality and the sauce, yuck! When drunk the food taste so much better. Would not recommend sober!

Goddammit… why is everything Latin so damn sexy? If you put shredded meat, cheese, sauce and lettuce between two slices of Wonder Bread and eat it after drinking, you’ll likely end up with a Brawny mess, a pile of vomit and a kidney stone. If you put marinated, tender shredded chicken, white strips of queso cheese, spicy garlic sauce/mayonaise and lettuce between two pipping flour cakes fresh off the griddle and eat it while sober, you’ll likely end up with a very happy mouth, new friends and a substitute cocaine habit… which will help you gain all the weight you lost while vomiting Wonder sandwiches. The arepas dolled from this truck are freshly made and hot as Hell, but once you let them cool off, they’re more delicious than any $ 5 food item you could possibly buy… any where… ever. Protip: You know that guy/girl you’ve been trying to date(get with… hump…love…) buy him or her one of these, and he or she will say yes(take your socks off… make chimp noises… cuddle with you all night).

Don’t let the blurry photos of vague food products and weak strobe light fool you into thinking this truck is a piece of crap. Press on past the image and get these arepas because they are the best arepas you will ever have. The garlic and spicy sauce fuse together, imbuing the meat and cheese with powers beyond your mundane imagination. The cornmeal dough is as perfect as it can be(excellent mix of texture and corn-y taste). Also, get this — they have hand sanitizer and ample paper towels right up there at the front for you to use. They deserve major props for catering to those whose hygienic needs play a strong role in their enjoyment of an eating establishment. I love El Arepaso de Orlando so much that I coerced two friends into leaving their hotel room so that I could pick them up and take them on a mad dash to get more arepas at around 1 in the morning. I think this is the best food item that I’ve ever had for 5 dollars in the USA.

I have never written a review and often I don’t feel the need to. However, this place is amazing! I want to let everyone know about the awesomeness they are missing out on! But at the same time I’d like to keep the secret so I can eat mass amounts of these amazing arepas without anyone providing the chance of them selling out. Yet I want this business around to feed my craving and so I must share the knowledge. The people are incredibly nice, attentive and fast. The food is incredible and the sauces I believe are made from heaven. Go to this truck.

Quite possibly the best food I’ve ever eaten! And that is saying a lot, I have pretty high standards when dining out, but this food truck has topped nearly all of my dining experiences! There are not words to describe the delicious Columbian Hamburgers that come out of this restaurant on wheels. Every bite is delectable! I don’t know if it’s the juicy beef patty, the seasoning(which I understand is unique to this Columbian cuisine), the soft bread, crunchy lettuce, fresh tomato or the sauce. OMGTHESAUCE! I prefer the pineapple sauce and the garlic sauce(spicy is too much for me). But the combination of these ingredients makes for the best hamburger, and quite possibly the best THING I have ever eaten. I have also tried the other items on their menu, and they do not compare, they are not even in the same league. So, don’t waste your time with the other choices, it’s hamburgers all around! Every week the line gets longer and the crowd starts to gather earlier in the night around this white truck, sporting only a flashing sign that reads«Open» in blue and red lights. It is no doubt that the owners will soon have to expand into a larger stationary establishment in order to keep up with demand. They have already raised their prices by $ 1. But I assure you, $ 6 is not too much to ask for heaven in your mouth. It is very disappointing for my diet that this place is on the way home from my house after leaving the downtown bars. Any night I go out, there is no question. I will be getting a food truck burger and it has to be this one! As a side note, I have also eaten at this food truck sober, and the experience was equally amazing if not better! So, it is clearly not just drunk food, it is GREAT food!

I didn’t get to try any food from this truck(unfortunately, I ran out of cash because I hit up a few other trucks at tonight’s food truck event in Avalon Park), but it seems very interesting and I’d like to give it a shot sometime. It seemed to be pretty popular tonight — I saw a number of people ordering from it and I overheard some people talking about how good its food was tonight. Thankfully, this truck is relatively close to where I live(according to Chris R.‘s review, it’s downtown), so maybe I’ll catch it sometime. I did buy a soda here this evening and the employee I talked to for a moment was friendly. The food looked and smelled delicious!

Last night I found a food truck downtown, Arepaso de Orlando They are open Wednesdays through Saturday nights at Washington and court basically across from Gringos Locos. They have only 3 items: Venezuelan Arepas Ham and grilled cheese sandwiches($ 7) Colombian hamburgers The Arepas($ 5) are filled with either shredded beef and cheese or chicken and cheese. The photo on their menu shows crappy American cheese but that isn’t what they put on it, they use a white shredded type cheese. The Arepas themselves are white but not really sweet and they cut it in half to open it up like you would a pita and stuff the ingredients inside. They have 3 sauces in squeeze bottles you can put on as much as you like. Garlic sauce, Tartara and a Spicy one. I asked him a few times what peppers were in the spicy one but he just kept saying chili. All of the sauces had a similar white consistency but my fav was the garlic. The spicy one was good too but it wasn’t very spicy just a little. I didn’t get to try the other 2 items but the Colombian guy working there said they were really good. They also sell soda and water, go try em out after you have danced your booty silly and are wasted out of your mind, then they will taste like heaven in your hand. He said they usually stay open until about 3:30AM #OrlandoFoodTrucks
