Definitely not worth the over $ 120 spent on our family of four. We left feeling a little disappointed and slightly ripped off. We have had much better experiences at Disney Quest, but since we were in the area with no set plans, decided to give Dave and Buster’s a chance. At first, we were pleased with the menu and dinner/game card combos. Our server was okay as far as timing and information, but lacked a friendly personality, and seemed as if he really didn’t want to be there. While I was looking through the menu I came across several squished pieces of food on one of the pages. This might have been a three-star review if it weren’t for that unpleasant surprise. My husband and I both ordered entrees that came with a game card for ourselves and a grilled cheese with fries for the children to share. We waited a reasonable amount of time for the food, but the food was average at best. My husband said that his ribs and wings combo was barely edible, he ordered it thinking, if a place like that could get one thing right, it would be wings and ribs. I ordered the lobster alfredo dish topped with steak. The steak was absolutely terrible, dry, tough and flavorless. The pasta, however was very good. I suggest they offer the pasta as a dish by itself and charge a few dollars less. My five year-old was more than ready to hit the game floor at this point, so we headed over to the arcade. The gaming experience was overall pretty good… all the machines were in working order, the floor area was well organized and clean. My daughter and I had a fun time playing the various games, as did my husband and toddler, however for what we spent, I don’t feel as though we got our money’s worth. The cards that we purchased with our entrees only lasted us about 45 minutes. My daughter hit the jackpot on one of the games and we thought we accumulated a good amount of prize credits, but ended up taking home a small ball, a slinky and a piece of candy. I get what Dave and Buster’s is all about, and really wanted to like it, but based on this experience we will probably not make a return visit.

So we met some family members and started off at a bowling alley but ended up here. This was my first time coming to this one and I must say it was super crowded for a weekday evening. Maybe all the tourist, I’m not sure. Anyway we walked in with no problem and got seated. It must’ve been one or two tables left and that’s it. We got served pretty quick even though the guy had multiple tables, he was on it… We previously ate at the bowling alley but wish I would’ve waited to eat here. The menu was long and extensive but looked great. I think I just got a drink and that was about it. They had TVs all around but it was still sort of noisy with the video games and all that. They had a line for tickets and stuff but other than that I guess it was cool. Not for me though. I didn’t really see any video games that I would like to play. Out here

I mean, it’s Dave & Buster’s. I didn’t try the food at this location, but the arcade is typical D&B. New games seem to come in often. Staff seemed decent. Harley-Davidson L.A. Riders is a great game to play here, although the bike can be a hassle to steer at times. I didn’t play much else there except for this shooting game called«Shh!!! Welcome to Frightfearland» and Sega’s Rambo shooter which had a credit already in(the gun was off center, sadly). Frightfearland is a fun shooter if you’re into the House of the Dead games and like clowns, though. There are lots of ticket redemption games, and the best part about Dave & Buster’s locations now is «E-tickets” – the tickets go onto your card. I also highly suggest you sign up for the D&B Rewards program if you know you’re going there often. Lots of good deals. It’s Dave & Buster’s. What more can I say?

After the horror that was my son’s birthday party this year, I feel now that it’s imperative that I compliment the staff of Dave & Busters on my son’s birthday party last year. We booked our party last year with this place, and let me just say… WOW. From the moment we got there, we had a party attendant who saw to our every need. She took our orders for the included food(we got the chicken tenders, cheese pizza bites, cheeseburgers, french fries, potato chips and tons of it for our group). She also made sure before the guests arrived that she had the info on the 4 different types of pitchers of drinks we’d need for the duration of our party. She got them set up before the first kids arrived, and she kept them refilled and fresh for the entire time we were there, no need to ask her. She helped me set up the table with the cake and cupcakes as well as the goodie bags. She had a place to put all the boxes that held all the items until after the party was over. The manager came out with our play cards. The play cards were so awesome. We got one for each child attending the party. It came with limited ticketed game credits, but the trade-off was UNLIMITED standard video games all day until midnight(a $ 5 upcharge per person)! YAYA! The kids all felt like they’d hit arcade Nirvana lol. When the food showed up and it was time to eat, I didn’t have to round up the kids. They announced it on the PA system and everyone filed in and were able to eat as much as they could put away, and we even had plenty to spare when they were done. That included enough food for the parents too! The most impressive was that to get the kids done more quickly, instead of just our attendant preparing their plates the way they asked, THEMANAGER came out and assisted! That’s what I call service! After eating the food, it was back out to play more games! A while later, the attendant asked if we were ready for the cake and presents, and I agreed that yes, that would be great, back to the PA to call the kids in for the rest of the festivities, and all this while they were hydrated by the copious amounts of beverages included in our package. After the cake had been eaten and the presents opened, the kids got their goodie bags and the added bonus of getting prizes from the store. Many of our party guests stayed long after the party to take advantage of the unlimited video games! You’re thinking, «Yeah, but I bet this was SUPER expensive!» NOPE. We had a total of 12 kids and this cost with gratuity around $ 450. You know this is way good if you’ve ever planned a child’s birthday party. I couldn’t ask for a better party. The kids enjoyed it, the parents enjoyed it. It was AWESOME. I paid almost as much this year(about $ 50 less), and it didn’t even come CLOSE to the awesomeness and service I got from Dave & Busters. Thank you so much for making my son’s 9th birthday so memorable. I had to have his party somewhere else to really appreciate how wonderfully you handled his special day!

Dave and Buster’s is one of my favorite places to play! I like the power play options of discounted game credits with the purchase of entrees. I really like that every time I come to D&B there are new games. The servers are always on top of things too. The food doesn’t have a wow factor but it’s good! This time I had the bistro steak and shrimp lobster Alfredo. The shrimp in this dish was soooo good and juicy!!! However I’m not a steak person, but ordered my steak medium and it was good! Not slap your mama good, but enjoyable! Ultimately never disappointed when I go to Dave and Buster’s!

Been to this D&B quite a few times and we always have a good time. Although I agree that more games focus on spinning to win tickets then an actual game and the prizes are unreachable. Lots of claw machines with prizes that weigh too much for the claw. We seemed to have good service at the bar, there weren’t many people on a Thursday afternoon. The bartender made our drinks and said if we hung around the bar a bit longer, happy hour started in 20 mins and she’d ring the drinks in then. Also received a free margarita too, no complaints there. Of course the food is mediocre at best. Some bar food isn’t going to be more then that, it’s just bar food. Fun for a few rounds of games and drinks but nothing more.

Good place for eating and have fun with the family. I took my 6 years old boy there. We had lunch at the dining room. I had the Boss Chicken Club, the name tells you everything. The sandwich is really the Boss, with grill chicken breast, avocados and bacon, followed by a side of sweet potato fries. My son had the grill shrimp. Our server was very attentive and engaged with our table. Fun part — the games coast about from 6 to 10 tickets. We paid $ 32 for about 175 tickets and used all of them in about 1 hour. They have a nice variety of games and my son really liked the Star Wars one, obviously one of the most popular ones, consequently one of the most expensive. Definitely going back there for more fun with my son.

With Dave & Buster’s, there are some important things to know before you go. 1. Eat elsewhere before or after you come. With the new additions of restaurants out on I-drive(Yardhouse being one of my favorite), there are just better food options for the price. The food here is average at best, and the deals that they tie in to get more video game credit are not that great of a deal overall. 2. Parking is terrible, so be prepared to circle the lot on weekends. They were limited in what they could do here with the space provided, and they did their best with parking under the building, but the problem still exists. 3. Sign up for their email list. I hate getting spammed like the next guy, but many times they send you an email where if you put $ 20 on a card for games, they match it. That works out better than ordering food and trying to get game credits, without having to order the bad food. Even better, you and your wife, friend, etc. can each do that deal for additional gaming credit. 4. The games seem to be geared more towards tickets than actual video games. Obviously this is a big part of their business, but just know that going in. As for the prizes, I was impressed with attainable prizes that were decent. Better than your typical arcade ticket system. Overall, we enjoy heading down here when the deal emails hit, and our son loves to win prizes. It’s a decent way to spend a family afternoon together.

This is the epitome of an adult Chuck E’ Cheese and is an alternate way for older people to have fun in Orlando at night. There are a lot of games for people to choose from, such as the classic Air Hockey or Skeeball, but there are unique games such as Beer Pong or some Horror film based games. There is a diverse range of games for people to choose from so you can never get too bored unless you really hate arcade games. I wish there were more interesting games though, it literally is all of the games from Chuck E’ Cheese. However, if you really loved that place growing up(like I did) and have a competitive edge, it’s a fun date night and way to hang out with friends. Parking isn’t bad, I’ve never had any problems whenever I’ve come here. There is a lot of spots available that is underneath the building and surrounding it. When you enter there is a massive staircase which sucks when you’ve done leg day at the gym and I don’t quite understand the point of except for sliding down the railing if you’re really trying to relive your childhood that night. Customer service welcomes you right when you climb the stairs and they are generally helpful and friendly. However, having a night full of games can be somewhat pricey, but I believe they have deals if you purchase a certain number of points. It cost a certain number of points to play each game and D&B stores it on a small card for you that is convenient to carry throughout the night instead of having coins that you could easily lose. You can also decide whether you want to get paper tickets after each game or store them on your card thereafter. They have a lot of fun and cute prizes that you can choose from, but a lot of them require a lot of tickets so it can seem somewhat attainable. But you can opt out of using all your tickets the night that you’re there and save them for another time if you plan on ever coming back again or if you’re really organized and won’t lose your D&B’s card. They have a restaurant and drinks. I’ve never eaten there though but they have that option. However, you are right in the middle of I-Drive so there are a lot of options you can choose from. The giant arcade is usually busy and bustling. There are a lot of people and sometimes a lot of children, which confuses me because there’s a Chuck E’ Cheese for a reason. However, D&B is a fun way to spend your night in Orlando if you’re looking for something different and want to let off some steam by acting like a child for a night.

An accidental date night. We should be so lucky! We were headed toward a seafood restaurant right up the road when we noticed Dave & Buster’s off the freeway. You want this? I want this. Are we doing this? We’re doing this. It took fo-eva to find a parking space. The arcade is located on a hugely busy strip and in a tight spot. So after circling the parking lot for a few times, we opted to go for valet, which was the equivalent of giving some high schooler $ 5 to park in a wedge, praying that your vehicle doesn’t get scratched to smithereens. Seriously. They didn’t even park the car; we parked the car. Anyway, once inside, I was became a literal 12 year old. I’d heard of Dave & Buster’s, but I had never been. We went for bar seating for dinner — calamari, wings, quesadilla and steak with a glass of wine and waters. That put us back about $ 65. Pricey, pricey. But the food was quite delicious. I was impressed, really, especially with the calamari and wings. Here — you have my endorsement. Then we dropped $ 30 to spend the next 1.5 hours playing all sorts of games! My favorites were the active games that required body movement. Especially skee ball. That reminded me of so many childhood visits to Chuck E. Cheese’s. Frustrating, though: There were several games that were busted, but there were no signs posted. So we lost some cash on defunct games. This happened several times that night. In the end, after we were sweaty and tired, we had enough tickets to purchase a single stuffed toy the size of a tomato on steroids. That was it. But no matter, this wonderful memory will carry for years upon years!

What self-respecting adult doesn’t appreciate acting like a child every so often? Dave and Busters appeals to even the most stern adults. An adult-catered arcade replete with adult libations, Dave and Busters is a great venue to visit for a departure of the real world. There are plenty of games and activities to involve yourself in and enjoy your time with friends/family. Being that Dave and Busters is family oriented, you can bring your kids or younger cousins, sisters, and brothers to enjoy a fun day with. I have visited two other locations in two other states so I was looking forward to experiencing the Orlando location. I visited this location with my family while they were visiting Orlando and we were jonesing for something entertaining to do. The restaurant was adequate the time I was there and the service was relatively fast and our server was responsive to our needs. We enjoyed some cocktails, beer, and appetizers, salad, and sandwiches. Although the menu has variety by way of departure of standard bar/pub fare, I’d like to see more healthy options. I read that you can join the Dave and Busters email club where you receive coupons on the regular and on Wednesdays games are half off to play(no coupons allowed, however). I can imagine that Wednesdays are quite busy for that reason. The model of this place is that you have a reloadable card FL put money on to play games. They usually have bonus or select amounts that you can load and receive more credit than the standard amount of credit your money purchases. The store, where you redeem your tickets for credits, is pretty neat and even has prizes of electronics and small appliances. Because Dave and Busters is a bit pricy, I took away one star but the overall experience was fun and I enjoyed playing old school and more updated games and challenging my dad to basketball.

‘Ello chaps! It’s been said often that«Dave and Buster’s» is the«Chuck E Cheese» for adults. It’s not. «Dave and Buster’s» is a restaurant-arcade that serves alcohol and rather than having people dressed in rat costumes, you’ll just be screaming«oh rats!» because of the abundance of disappointment. This is a trend I’ve sadly experienced at every Dave & Buster’s in Florida. Starting with the restaurant. On a quiet Thursday night, only three tables sat, it took our waitress about 10 minutes before she even came to our table to say hello and get a drink order. Throughout the hour and 15 minutes we were seated we went through several gaps of long points in time where we never saw our server. Long story short, my meal was ice cold that I only ate half of it, my mates food was totally messed up but it was late, it’d been a long day and we ate part of it. At one point a manager did come over, who we expressed our concern to, and he was apologetic and comped part of the meal despite our objections, but that was nice. We did the value plan where you get a meal and play credits — which from the menu seems like a great deal — until you see the games. They basically have 5 styles of games and that’s it. They’re really not that fun and most are over priced. They require at least 10 «credits» which when you break it down cost approximately 22 cents each so you’re playing $ 2 at minimum for a simple game that would cost 50 cents in a regular arcade. The one improvement with this Dave & Buster’s is that it is cleaner and more modern than other locations like the one in Jacksonville — but unfortunately D&G has taken a turn for the worse in their operations. Food is blah, service is absent and the games are overpriced and not even fun. It’s not even like a casino where you KNOW you’re going to lose a lot of money but at least you can have fun while shoveling over your cash. HERBERTSAYS: Skip It. You’ll find more fun watching the drunks out front of Walgreens on I-Drive.

Gosh, this tourist trap can be fun if you can find close parking before they close. So, good luck finding parking. You may have to walk from a parking garage across the street or stalk someone leaving to get their space(someone did that to us). Once you enter the building the fun is upstairs. You walk up the stairs or go by elevator to the packed floor of games and the dining area attached. It’s literally packed EVERY night, so forget waiting to go on a «slow night» because there just isn’t one. The weekend is definitely the worst. You buy a game card and load it with money. Each game has a card reader that you slide your card in, in order to play. The card reader displays the cost of each game play and then show your remaining balance. Some games require that you slide your card again at the end to collect your coupons/tickets won. These coupons/tickets can be redeemed later for prizes. If you forget to do this, you will lose those coupons/tickets. You can find yourself spending the money on the loaded card fast and spending more than anticipated. Some games you’ll find yourself waiting awhile for. If you plan to return, keep the game card as it is reloadable.

Make sure you monitor your transactions! These games could become addicting. I could sit for hours at the Wizard of Oz game. The food is ok and the drinks are yummy. I usually don’t know what I’m drinking because I tell my husband to «surprise me» and he always comes with something different. We had syringe Jell-O shots and they were a little weak, but they were huge. This place is located on International Drive, so expect to spend a lot of money.

I’ve been to this location countless times since it opened a few years ago. I think it’s a great place for families to go when you’re looking for something to do that won’t break the bank. For instance, tonight we had a coupon for $ 20 in game play when you buy $ 20. If you sign up for the email list, they send coupons all the time, at least once a week. On Wednesday’s, games are half price, which means even more bang for your buck, except you can’t use coupons on Wednesdays. The bigger prizes are always changing. My husband and I actually got so many tickets once that we got a waffle maker from there, which we still have and that was a few years ago! As a young couple with a small child, I think D&B’s offers a little fun for each of us, rather than just going to Chuck E. Cheese all of the time. I can’t give them five stars, because as other reviewers have stated, their dining area service definitely is not the best. It’s pretty much always crowded(what do you expect for an I-Dr location?), so waits are usually long and service is usually slow. However, the food is pretty much the same as Friday’s or somewhere like that.

This was my first visit and most likely my last. We went for a birthday party for my boyfriends daughter. Basically this is an adult Chuck E Cheese but honestly there were more children and young adults in the place than what I cared for especially at 8pm at night. Parking was a nightmare! They offer valet but I’m not going to pay for valet to have my car parked illegally on the curb which we saw what was happening. We ended up parking across the street and walked over. This is I Drive so be careful walking because cars do not know how to stop at cross walks. If you have sensory issues then this is not the place for you. It’s super loud and you can’t hear yourself talk. Since we were there for a special party we were seated in Studio 2 which was a little more quiet. The«Studios» are basically a pretty big room with several round tables that accommodate larger parties. They have big TV screens that play various music videos while you dine and celebrate. We had 2 tables with one waitress that was also taking care of other tables. We ended up ordering some of the appetizers because I was not going to pay the prices they were asking for«bar» food. I understand that they are located in the tourist area but the food isn’t that great for me to justify paying the prices they wanted. We ordered the Slider and Wing Combo. Ok. Most places that I’ve ordered sliders from actually make a patty to fit the bun. What D&B does is takes a regular hamburger patty and cut it into quarters. You’re left with mostly bread and no meat. Can you say rip off? We ordered the watermelon Margaritas which were actually the best thing we had all night. The ice cubes were frozen Strawberry purée which was pretty good. It gave a different flavor. Service was spotty. We literally had to go into the kitchen to ask for additional plates and cups. It should be noted that all occupants under 21 have to leave after a certain time as it turns into a nightclub. I’m still not sure how they control this because they don’t card you at the door nor do they give out wristbands. Needless to say I most likely will not be returning because its not worth the hassle or the money.

Truthfully, I don’t love Dave and Buster’s. Despite this, I always eventually find myself back at one. Dave and Buster’s reminds me of bowling: Hardly anyone really likes it, but occasionally someone tosses the idea out, no one has gone in ages, and every just kind of goes along with it. That’s how I feel about Dave and Buster’s. The games are fun for a while, but there are always tons of children. The colorful drinks(which I’m glad they serve as they help make said children more bearable) are weak and over-priced. The menus are sticky and the food is of a quality similar to that of a particularly bad Steak and Shake(though the average Steak and Shake is probably better). However, in spite of these complaints, it’s open late and sometimes seems like it «might be fun» when you’re out with a group. It’s generally not that great once you’re there, but it does offer somewhere to go when you’re out of ideas and don’t want to go out anywhere too nice, but also don’t want to go home. This location specifically is usually very crowded and parking is nightmarish. This isn’t really surprising considering it is on I-drive. However, don’t be shocked when you see the crowd levels. One final note, this Dave and Buster’s lets you exchange your points for food vouchers! I’m not sure if they all do this, but we just noticed this last time we were here. Overall, I’d like to say I won’t be going back. However, I’m sure I’ll end up at another Dave and Buster’s eventually.

I’ve been a few times and each experience has been about the same, meh! Parking is a nightmare because it is so small. Once inside, you feel the excitement and adrenaline. I love this feeling! However, as you start your journey, the feeling goes away after waiting in line for the first time to get a card, sign up for rewards, and spend $ 30 on tokens in a matter of about 5 minutes. The games are great, but you spend tokens so fast on a few games before you know it. The game area is small in my opinion. Yeah they have various games like puzzles, typical coin drop game, ball games, and etc. You can win a lot of tickets at some machines very easily. I think a huge downfall is how easy it is to reload your game card with your money in a matter of a few seconds. A fun time can cost you over $ 50 before you know it. You get into the moment of winning and having fun, but it only last about 10 minutes. So you just reload and go. It’s a gimmick to make money in a snap for the company! I suggest being very careful and make a limit in the beginning. I ate at the restaurant last time and I thought the food was ok. Great variety with some reasonable prices. They have different options with food and token combo packages at a great price. The prizes are somewhat fine, but mostly candy and cheap toys. The ticket process is easy, but do be careful to read the machine to get your tickets. I notice last time some game machines make you insert your game card to put out the tickets. I notice a lot games with winning ticket available and no one grab them. Anyone can walk up, insert their card, and get the winning tickets. Yes, I tried it and got someone else’s tickets. I felt bad, but I didn’t know who was on the game before. I read now there is etickets available. I didn’t try it. You can play some free games if you reload your game card with at least $ 10 during your visit. I think this is a neat idea. Some of the staff members seem careless, unprofessional, and look bored. The experience is fun, but doesn’t last long. I think this would be a nice date night with someone before seeing a movie or experiencing another nearby attraction in the area. Each night of the week is a special offering. I know Wednesday nights offer half-price games. An average game is about 5 – 10 chips or tokens. You can get 180 tokens for about $ 29. Do the math at 10 chips & that comes out to be about 18 game plays roughly for $ 29. I would only recommend it for a short fun happening and nothing else. I wouldn’t suggest eating here unless you get the game combo package. I find it a place for locals or customers who visit D&B’s a lot for the purpose of prizes. If you have a lot of tickets it’s worth it, but not for a first only one time experience though in my opinion because you won’t gain any great prizes in the end.

Dave & Busters is rarely a totally inexpensive one, but I think it’s worth the money for the most part. I took my 9 year old boy there for a little father /son celebration time. He about exploded from sensory overload when we made it up the stairs and said WOW! The space is large, bright, exciting and overall really clean. We spent about $ 30 on credits for games and that lasted the two of us at least an hour. The bar has a really good happy hour deal from 4 – 7, which is when we went. I think this may be a really good time to go if you don’t want it to be crazy busy. Wednesday they do half price games for Happy Hour as well. Overall, I’d go back with the rest of my kids. It may not be «cheap», but it’s still less expensive than a lot of attractions. Lastly, if you get sucked into play for tickets then you’re going to spend a fortune. Stick to the games and your credits will go twice as far!
