I am not sure how the previous reviewers gave this place such high ratings. The place is horribly maintained. The food was either burnt or tasteless. One of the curries was spoiled. The guy who runs it was actually only decent part of the whole experience. We will never go back again.

Had hard time finding this place. Google map is still not updated with the new address. I had ordered for a veg jalfrezi and roti. I had very less expectation from this place because it had only 3 reviews on Unilocal.Had chosen this just because it was closer to the hotel I was staying at. Surprisingly it was amazing. I rarely eat vegetarian food outside. It was freshly prepared and the spices used were perfect. I was so happy that I went again for the next day morning breakfast. The poori sabji was delicious. It was a very simple and homely preparation. Idli sambar was also very nice. Everything was finger licking good. This place is run by an old couple. Hospitality was great. I was told that they would be hiring a waiter soon. They do need one. Overall a very silent, no-​fancy place with homely warm food. I can say one of the best Indian food I had in USA. A must eat place for me anytime I visit Orlando

Chutney serves incredible, authentic food. I got the Palak Paneer and it was very clear that this was freshly prepared just for me. It was the greenest, freshest looking palak paneer that I’ve ever had and it tasted great. I also got a mango lassi that was served in a very generous glass. The service was great and my server was very friendly. Not only was the service and food great, but the prices were also very reasonable.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY!
There is a sign out front that says «buffet» but that is left from a previous business, and they said it is coming down soon.
Great food, well prepared and friendly service! We stopped in for lunch, had samosas for appetizer, (2 large samosas with tasty sauces), mango lassi to drink. I ordered the chana masala and my wife ordered yellow dal. Both were delicious and served with plenty of rice. We also ordered some buttered roti and finished by splitting an order of gajar halwa. We were stuffed, and brought some leftovers home too! They also gave us some papad to try, which was delightful!
It seemed obvious that the food was prepared just for us (no other customers while we were there), but it didn’t take long to get our appetizers and the meal was well paced.
The waiter was attentive and answered lots of questions for us. Another staff member that greeted us was very enthusiastic and eager to answer questions too, though his English wasn’t as good (and that’s all we understand).
This is a vegetarian restaurant, and they will do vegan if you request. That being said, as a carnivore I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Live on the edge, give it a try!

We just passed by the Chutney today. So we decided to try it for lunch. There was no bufet — which was okay for us.
The menu is rather big for a vegetarian restaurant. We took some Samosa, Tomato Soup and Kachori as starters followed by Paneer Makhani, Vegetable Jalfrezi and Hakka Noodles. At the end we had some Mango Lassi.
All was prepared fresh, therefore it took some time. But believe me, it is worth to spend a couple of minutes more.
The quality of the food is just outstanding. This is a real authentic Indian restaurant.
I tried a lot of Indian restaurants in Europe and in the USA, but Chutneys became my favourite.
Even we are only here as tourists, we will defenitely go back.
