Oh man, this may be the best Chinese take out I’ve ever had. And I eat a lot of it. Like, high blood pressure at 25 years old. But! This shit is worth breaking a diet for.

Very yummy. Nothing was too heavy. Sesame chicken was nice and crunchy. Would definitely eat here again

Best Chinese in Orlando area hands down. Sesame chicken was phenomenal; very little breading. Will definitely come back

This is my favorite take out Chinese in all of Orlando. Food is delicious and served piping hot… even when delivered! They are very fast and very nice. I especially love their delivery service as they are very quick to bring the food and friendly at the door. The food is amazing. I wish I had leftovers to enjoy later!

Wonderful food. Very nice people. Since Green House has gone down hill, this has become my favorite and only Chinese restaurant I’ll go to in the area On the negative side — it’s very small and one lady takes orders, cleans tables, and runs food —(so she is hopping all the time. Very nice lady and boy does she work hard) Purchase drinks by the can, so the free refills we’re used to everywhere else are non-existent The place is small. Like 6 tables. Their children sit at one of the tables(really adorable well behaved boys). If they are busy, you wait. One night we waited over an hour to eat. We were actually seated right away but the kitchen is small and they had tons of take out orders — people lined out the door for pick up On the plus side … And this outweighs the other minor issues, the food is fantastic.

I’ve been to this place probably 100 times but never gave an actual review. This place has excellent food and the service is usually good except for busy nights like tonight! No matter how bad the service can be the quality of the food always make up for it! It’s one of those casual restaurant one must try if you’re around downtown Orlando. I would totally recommend this place for anyone that into Hakka Chinese food!

We wanted to dine in but she gave us our food to go. SHEIGNORESYOUIFYOUSTANDATTHEFRONTREGISTER. She was rude and did not tell us the food would take 25 minutes until AFTER we paid. I am utterly annoyed at the service and lack of staff they have. It was busy as hell, the food isn’t even that good. Spring rolls were soggy, lo mein tasted like soy sauce! Just horrible experience. HORRIBLESERVICE! I am so angry. Don’t ever come here!!!

Just ate at the most sensational little hideaway. 6 tables, one waitress deals with it all. The food(pupu platter, chicken fried rice and general tsos chicken are the best I’ve had. We will be back. Love it.

This place has the best food ever! Super fresh and the chef is awesome. Very friendly staff. We ate there but is only a few tables. Clean place and cozy. Saw a lot of people doing take out and they also do delivery. They also serve alcohol(beer) a plus !

I already wrote a review for here once, but it’s so good I have to write another one. The food was some of the best Chinese food I have had on a long time. The sweet and sour chicken was just as good the second time as it was on our first visit. The restaurant is small but clean. Most orders seem to be takeout orders. We had an appetizer of crab rangoons, they were the best I have had in at least 10 years. I also ordered moo shu pork as an entrée and it was just as fabulous. The lovely lady working there at the front was also our waitress and was fast and gracious. We wish this was back home so we could eat here all the time.

Definitely a no frill Chinese restaurant however, don’t let that stop you. The food and flavoring are a 5 stars. There are about 7 – 8 tables in the entire place and it is setup to be more of a take out place. Pros: The place is very clean. They are constantly cleaning actually. While we were there for lunch. They were cleaning their door and Windows. They were very attentive in terms of refilling our water and made our food perfect to our request. I ordered Mongolian chicken extra spicy, it came out steaming hot and with amazing flavors. My husband ordered Kung pao chicken with 2 stars spicy, it came just as that. Additionally, there were two other tables with 5 and 3 people and I noticed that they must ordered something off the menu as I didn’t recognize those dishes. So another pro is they customize to people likings. Pricing is ridiculously reasonable($ 5.69-$ 7 for lunch) I guess living in Seattle– I don’t get to see pricing like this anymore so I truly appreciate it. I remember seeing this type of pricing back when I was in College in Pittsburgh but no where in Seattle for sure or even in Tampa. I would highly recommend this Chinese restaurant for lunch or dinner(probably more in the Togo range to take home not necessarily for ambience) this is one of those places that I wish we had in our area because I definitely would be getting my Togo in after a log day at work rather than cooking especially for this type of pricing.

What a wonderful surprise to find a place like this. It was a totally unexpected last-minute decision to have lunch there. The food was delicious. I had the Thai chicken, my sister in-law had the chicken with cashews and my wife had the duck. All our dishes were lunch meals. While we were there, the takeout orders were constant. The phone orders never stopped. We realized that this small restaurant has a steady stream of repeat customers. The quality of the food explained it all. I plan to return frequently. While there, a regular customer asked to use the owner’s cell phone charger. She said okay, only to discover it was an older Apple cord that would not work with his phone. Overhearing, I got my new cord from my car. I apologized for eavesdropping and offered him the cord to use. I just asked that when done he return it. After he left, the owner informed us that our entire check had been paid by this generous customer who borrowed my cord. The whole experience at China Tea filled us with a sense of good karma.

We chanced upon this tiny gem on our way to Costco and decided to try it for lunch based on the great Unilocal reviews. The three meals we had were exceptional examples of what could have been very ordinary, but they were elevated by quality ingredients, expertly handled in the kitchen. We had both wonton and hot and sour soup. Both were seasoned perfectly and had a subtle underlying smoky complexity of flavor. I love duck and have had the privilege of frequenting a few of the duck«palaces» in Beijing where they number each of the thousands of ducks served and present you with a certificate to that effect. My humble $ 7.89 duck lunch here, Crispy Wok Shu Duck, was one of the best duck dishes I have ever eaten – crispy, but not overly coated, with melt-in-your-mouth meatiness inside. This was presented on a bed of crisp-tender veggies in a light savory sauce alongside a generous helping of good fried rice. My husband and sister had the Thai Basil Chicken($ 5.69) and Chicken with Cashew Nuts(also $ 5.69), respectively. All three of us loved our meals and polished off every bit. My sister also tried bubble tea for the first time(mango) and loved it. It helps that she loves tapioca ;o) Our very reasonable tab was paid off by a fellow customer who was grateful to my husband for producing the proper cord for charging his phone while he dined, my husband having overheard a conversation he was having with the owner. After he left, the owner came over to let us know that our entire bill had been paid. This tiny, clean, competent and caring restaurant provided us with not only an amazing meal, but an amazing experience with human appreciation and generosity. We can’t wait to return, but I don’t think I will ever be able to try anything else on the menu but the duck.

Love it… Best Chinese delivery in Orlando. My family and I ordered Kung Pao, Lo mein, sweet n sour chicken, and sesame chicken and none of the dishes were disappointing.

Exactly what I wanted. Food was absolutely delicious. I grew up in Chicago and was spoiled with awesome Chinese food. I’ve struggled to find good Chinese since I left in 2005, and this place reminded me of Friday family Chinese food nights growing up. The egg rolls were crispy and hot and the Moo Shu Gai Pan was full of fresh veggies and just perfect! Fried rice isn’t my favorite but even that was savory and great. My husband had the bourbon chicken with white rice and thought it was some of the best he has had. The chicken was crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked throughout. We washed all of the awesomeness down with two Tsing Tao’s, one of our favorite Asian brews. Will definitely be back next time we are in town!

After a long days during around Florida, we wanted something Chinese and close to our hotel. My daughter found China Tea on Unilocal and we decided to give it a try. At night, was a bit difficult to find the location as the signs weren’t too visible. In any event, went in & ordered a chicken fried rice & beef w/string beans to go. Got home and was pleasantly surprised. Tasty, well prepared, and not too much sugar added(one of the problems with Chinese food in today’s sugar laced food industry). Entire family loved it, the cat will be back!

I have to say, I’ve been living in Florida now for the past three years and this is the best Chinese food I’ve had since I left New York City. I ordered the Bourbon Chicken, Chicken Lo-mein, Pork Fried Rice, and steamed dumplings. It was all super delicious! Unfortunately, we’re just visiting Orlando and this place isn’t next to my house in South Florida!!! Kudos to the chef!!!

This is a great option for guests staying at the Rosen Shingle Creek across the street who don’t want to pay high prices at the hotel restaurants. It’s also a great option for locals who want Chinese takeout. The food is pretty authentic and comes out very fast(most of their business comes from takeout). You can see the cooks in the kitchen and they are working like crazy on their giant flaming woks. There are the usual Americanized suspects(egg foo young, General Tso’s chicken, etc.), but there are also plenty of unique dishes as well. The inside is pleasant enough and suitable for a sit-down meal with the family(which is what we did), but you never forget that this is a takeout joint because of the constant stream of people coming in and leaving with their orders. There’s also a giant light-up wall above and behind the counter with pictures of several menu items. I thought that was a little weird, because if you open up the actual menu, there are many more items than those shown on the wall.

I had this a week ago and I still can’t stop thinking about it. My best meal when I was in Orlando. The dining room is simple but clean. This place is much more geared to carry out and delivery orders. Still, they have limited waitstaff if you plan to dine in. Our food took about 10 — 15 minutes to cook. This was good, it meant they were cooking it up fresh. The hot and sour soup was spot on. The bubble teas were disappointing because they used powder instead of fresh fruit. You can’t find fresh fruit in Florida? The star was the General Tso’s chicken. It was everything it should be. The chicken chunks were white and dark meat without a hint of gristle. The breading was extremely crunchy. The sauce was very thick and there was a LOT of it. I still wish were would have gone back a second time!
