Staying at the Waldorf for a conference, so we decided to check this place out. We sat at the bar, our bartender Justin was excellent. He was friendly and made us feel comfortable. We had drinks and were enjoying our time. We finally ordered dinner and it took forever and our food was cold. Our bartender made sure it was right and you could tell that he was embarrassed on how our food was served. Great guy, he really takes his job seriously and looks out for the business. If only all restaurants could instill this into their employees. So if you are near the Waldorf come by and have a drink and order some food, sit at the bar and relax. Hopefully? You will have a great bartender like Justin to entertain and take care of you.

Absolutely love this place! Couple of weeks ago we decided to go for a late dinner and we end up at Bull & Bear. As soon as we stepped inside we were greeted by the friendly hostesses. Since we did not have a reservation, they worked really hard to seat us since they looked pretty full. We decided to have dinner at the bar area and we were seated there in less than 10 minutes. Service was excellent. Our bar server was Thom from UK and he was an absolute delight. He took his time to talk to us, get to know us, even with being so busy. We never felt rushed. Food was excellent. We are definitely going back soon

Food and staff are exceptional. We ate here several times during our stay. First visit they were fully committed and could squeeze us in in the bar dining room which is quite nice in itself. We asked the server if they would be able to turn there foie gras into a first course, The server was gracious and asked the chef and with out any problem they were able to deliver and impress. Everything on the menu is beautiful and delicious. I do suggest making a reservation and dine in the main room because the table side service is again quite impressive.

Absolutely delicious. Can’t miss the escargot appetizer. Small portion but most amazing flavor. Filet was cooked perfectly.

Wow! Great service, great steaks, great sides, great deserts, great, great, great! If you want a treat and don’t mind paying for it, this is it. Located in the Waldorf Astoria but easily walk-able to from the Hilton, a definite must try to put the finishing touches on your stay. We had the Tomahawk steak — worth every penny — cooked to perfection.

One word = AMAZING My wife and I just celebrated her birthday here. We are Orlando locals and have tried just about everywhere and have always head of Bull & Bear but never visited. The attention to detail and service are second to none, from the second we walked in we were treated like royalty, every person treated us like gold no matter who it was. The staff was beyond friendly and you can tell they really enjoyed what they were doing. When we sat down we were given these awesome iPad menus. Typically in the past these menus are just for wine lists, well not here, it’s the whole menu, as you scroll the the different choices there is a small secret, tap the text and you are presented with a beautiful picture of what will be served, how cool is that?! We even kept a menu at the table during dinner just to go through everything and look at all the pictures. We heard the«corn chowder soup» was amazing, i’m not a big corn chowder fan but decided to try it out, it was incredible, almost tasted like candy, they also put a small flower in the middle of the soup which was edible and also tasted amazing! The wedge salad was enough for two of us and it was fantastic, they had a great Russian dressing to compliment it perfectly. The waiter brought out a platter of different types of breads for us to sample, we both loved the sourdough, can’t go wrong there. Finally the main course arrived! We ordered the Chateaubriand, my wife and i both agreed it was one of the best we have ever had and we have been to just about every steakhouse from here to NYC. It came paired with some potatoes that were thinly sliced which complimented it well. For dessert we had the«Lemon». This was truly unique and delicious! It’s an actual lemon, peel and all, but the lemon’s insides are carved out, the peel is candy coated all day long(takes 8 hours to prepare) and the lemon is filled custard and ice cream(we think). It was very unique and we will get it again. A special thanks to our excellent waitress Samantha and«Tim». They both carefully and slowly explained everything to us as we had random questions about different dishes. We will be new regulars at this excellent establishment. If you are picky about excellent service and want your experience to be nothing less than perfect my wife and I would HIGHLY recommend Bull & Bear!

A very good choice for a steakhouse. Stumbled upon this restaurant by accident and it happened to be the highlight of our business trip. Amazing wine selection, exquisite food and great service. Seriously, come here if you want to be treated like royalty!

Wow this place was amazing! First of, I made the reservation for 6PM as I thought it would be perfect after a long day on the airplane from SFO. Boy was I wrong, not only was our flight DELAYED, the guy at the rental car agency was TERRIBLE. Right when our plane landed, I called Bull & Bear to let them know that there was no way we we were going to make it on time(Plane touched down at 5PM). We had to still deplane, get our bags, take the shuttle to the rental car place, get our rental car, and come over). Alexis, the lovely lady that answered the phone, also answered my prayers when she was able to reschedule our reservation to 7:30PM. THANKYOU Alexis! It was perfect as after the debacle with the rental car agency, we were able to über and make it perfectly on time for our rescheduled 7:30PM. Bryan, the handsome gentlemen that took care of us all night was SUPER attentive, gave some great recommendations and made our first night in Orlando one of the best. Appetizers: Wedge Salad & Corn Soup. Wedge Salad was huge but delicious. All the dressing is in the middle so it was hard to cut into, but great presentation. Corn Soup was delicious! I wish we would have ordered 2, but I was not smart enough to take Bryan’s recommendation. Entrees: Fried Chicken & Short Rib Both entrees were very generous & delicious. Fried Chicken was perfectly fried on the outside and super moist on the inside. Perfectly complimented the Mashed potatoes on the bottom. YUM! Short ribs fell off the bone was super tender. A must have. Dessert: The Lemon & Chocolate cake For my birthday dessert we chose The house special«Lemon» which is a myers lemon that is soaked in simple sugar for 4+ hours, insides taken out, mixed with deliciousness & the lemon itself and put back in. Served cut up tableside. BEST dessert I had all trip. The chocolate cake was also very decadent & had a crunchy bottom to it. Thank you Alexis & Bryan for your accommodations, friendliness, & warm welcome to Orlando! P. S. If you snag a late enough reservation, you can see the fireworks from Magic Kingdom from your table!

We booked this restaurant for my husband’s birthday. The soup that I ordered was a corn soup of some kind and I have to tell you I think it was the best soup I’ve ever had in my life! The dinner was good, typical Steakhouse fair. My husband had the Beignets for dessert and my kids shared the chocolate bar both were very good all in all it was a nice experience.

The best dining experience we’ve ever had! We got the private dining room and service led by Tim — OUTSTANDING. I have food allergies and I have never been taken care of so well. Don’t be afraid to let them order for you. They brought us the exact perfect complements including beverages for every course. Tim — how do you do it?! The LEMON is out of this world… the seafood tower spectactular… everything!

Very good!!! Service was terrific. Our captain Brian and Kevin and team were amazing. Great food and wine suggestions from appetizers to dessert. Wedge salads were great with Russian dressing but after saw the Cesar salad presentation we wish we got that. The steaks were perfect mid rate and all sides were amazing! Best dessert is crème brûlée with chocolate!!! Best ever.

Great location with complimentary valet parking, very attentive staff from hostesses to bussers, managers stopped by frequently to check on us. Food was great, we had the pasta explosion, sea food platter for 2, lobster bisque and the escargot with mushroom dish. We will definitely come back!

5 star service our waitstaff team was amazing. Efficient and so helpful. Our appetizers were the tuna with 3 different preparations the tuna tartare was excellent. The smoked tuna and tuna confit were v good as well. It was v cool in that it was served with a sea salt sorbet and an orange infuse sea salt that was wonderful. I had the heirloom tomato salad with burrata cheese and lemon and balsamic dressed micro greens with basil. It was quite good but since burrata is a bit bland I thought it needed a hint for sea salt and balsamic. In fact a very light balsamic glaze drizzle would have been perfect in my opinion. For our entrée we split the 30 day age Delmonico ribeye My husband loved it. I thought it needed a bit more of a sear/crust to melt a little more of the fat & a hint more seasoning. Our shared side was the $ 18 french fries and they were worth at least $ 16 if they had been a bit hotter they’d be worth the extra 2 dollars;). Epically crispy and basically the perfect fries with a side of garlic aoli & house made ketchup. Overall a nice experience.

I attended a private women’s lunch at Bull & Bear last week during a conference. The service was top notch, the atmosphere was very buttoned up and the food was delicious. They served different flatbreads which were to die for, a trio of salads which were beyond tasty and an amazing vanilla and chocolate dessert — honestly, the perfect ladies’ lunch! I look forward to having the opportunity to enjoy dinner here during my next visit to the Waldorf Astoria Orlando.

After several years of talking about the Bull & Bear, we finally made it on my most recent visit to Orlando. We had reservations at 8:00 and arrived shortly before hand. We were taken to the bar while are table was being completed. While at the bar we noticed the great selections of liquor and decided we would come back after dinner to enjoy an after dinner cocktail. We were taken to our table, a private couch, where they have guests seated on the same side of the couch, overlooking the beautiful skies and Orlando area. Note: At 9:00 and 9:45 we were able to enjoy the fireworks display that was taking place at Disney(a definite bonus to the experience) We started with the Tuna appetizer, tuna three ways: Sashimi, Smoked and Candied. The smoked was my favorite, and unfortunately the candied was a little too much. Not sure what the taste even was. We were then brought an amuse of duck with eggplant which was very good. We decided to order a Filet and the Lobster, with their signature frits and broccollini, the vegetable special. The lobster was cooked to perfection, and the broccollini was amazing, something I don’t have too often. As for the steak, it was good, cooked exactly the way we ordered. Now, onto dessert. We ordered«The Lemon». An entire lemon rind filled with lemon sorbet, which is completely edible. Served with a sugar cookie stick and frosting, making the entire bite taste like key lime pie. Our waiter also surprised us with the chocolate cake. Ok, first, let me say I hate chocolate, and I loved this. It was smooth, light and honestly the most amazing piece of chocolate cake I have ever had. Don’t pass this up. After dinner we headed back to the bar and ordered an after dinner cocktail and enjoyed some great conversations with the bartenders and other guests at the bar. Overall the experience was well worth it. I would recommend this place for a quiet, romantic dinner, or even for a group of guys ready to dig into some amazing steaks. because even though we had the filet they are known for their tomahawk and chateaubriand, which looked like an entire experience in itself, check out some of the pictures online.

We were so disappointed. First off it’s a little too dim in here. We love Caesar salad, especially a table side preparation. However, the lettuce was watery and the dressing was diluted and honestly the white anchovy was too soft and delicate. Caesar should have a punchy little kick of anchovy/lemon/sharp parmesan/and black pepper. This very expensive watery concoction fell flat. Not to mention our steak arrived while we weren’t even done. The timing was just so off here. So, our steak went back and then came out when we were ready. Our steak was good, what you would get at capital grille or a similar steak house. However, it was not up to snuff with Keen’s in NYC or Butcher & Singer in Philadelphia. Management was apologetic about the timing and the food, and sent us out three deserts. The cigar, the weird chocolate middle crème brûlée and the chocolate vodka cake. The cigar was really cool, but gimmicky and tasted ok, the crème brûlée to us is just an abomination, however, the desert we would have never ordered, the chocolate vodka was divine. We would come in for a cocktail and just that if we stayed at the WA again.

Third time dining here — finally decided to leave a review. I’m currently in my room 15 floors above this great establishment reliving my wonderful meal while writing this review. Booked a reservation earlier in the week(Monday); for dinner this time on a Thursday through OpenTable(due to a rather sudden trip to Orlando). Seamless process all the way through — including a confirmation email and phone call the night before. Headed down for our 8pm reservation a few minutes earlier. Seated with no delays upon arrival. Waitstaff and manager introduced themselves and were polite, attentive(albeit one minor glitch that was quickly addressed), and non-interfering. After perusing the iPad wine list, ordered a few glasses; subsequently ordered our starters and meal: wedge salad, heirloom tomato salad with buffalo mozzarella and balsamic; two filets with asparagus and mashed potato accompaniments. Perfect, all around! Oh, and we also had great brioche(with Vermont butter!) and an amuse bouche served by the head chef for the evening. For dessert, we split the cheesecake with wild strawberries in Pinot Grigio reduction. Wonderful! My apéritif that I ordered however never showed — but when I brought it to the attention of the manager, he proceeded to take the drink off the tab(as expected), but quickly appeared with the drink for me to enjoy, on the house. Great dinner and service. Fourth time staying at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando, third time dining at Bull and Bear — definitely won’t be the last!

Dined here on a Sunday night, reservations for 6pm. It was empty when we arrived and we were seated at a circular table for four by the window which was perfect. The menu and wine list are presented on iPads which was awesome, we selected a nice bottle of wine from it. Our wine came quickly as did a waiter with an assortment of breads, since we didn’t know what we wanted we got one of each. They were all really good! I ordered the NY Sirloin with potato pave and my husband ordered the Filet Mignon with mac & cheese with bacon. Overall the meal was very delicious! The mac & cheese was so creamy and had large chunks of bacon in it. The potato pave was very soft and creamy as well. My steak was cooked perfectly and delicious, so was my husbands which he said«was like butter.» Overall though we both agreed that everything was just a little too salty for our liking. However we would definitely return here to dine again. For dessert we got the chocolate crème brulee and beignets that came with three different dipping sauces(white chocolate, chocolate and caramel). Both were so, SO good. The crème brulee had more of a custard consistency then what we are used to but it was still delicious. The beignets were hot, airy and melted in my mouth. I would say for the price of the meal and what we got it was well worth it. Ambiance Fancy and romantic. White table cloths, too many glasses and silverware on the table kind of place. The waiters folded my napkin for me every time I went to the bathroom, I was super impressed! They also hover and help push your chair in for you when you sit down. The bar area also looks really cozy and intimate!
