Benihana

Almost killed me after I explicitly told them that I was allergic to soy beans and sesame seeds. Chef wasn’t paying attention and cross contaminated my food with the person sitting next to me.

I came here with a group of people and sat at the habachi table. Our chef made everything look so easy and all tasted so delicous. There was a waitress who asisted him, filling dirnk orders, clearing plates and making sure everyone enjoyed their time there. I had a wonderful nectarous glass of plum wine. We each order the 5 course meal. It started with a flavorful and savory soup. Then came a salad with fesh veggies and a simple dressing. The chef then cooked up a shrimp appetizer. He flipped shrimp into someone’s mouth and then squirted saki samples all around the table. He then cooked up veggies, even creating a steam engine onion. The steam rice was the best I have ever had, with a perfect texture and chock full of wonderful flavor. He then cooked up everyone’s entrée. I got the tuna steak and it was perfectly cooked and served in a nice balsamic sauce. I had so much fun watching our chef perform, create and cook our dinner.

This was the best experience I have ever had at a Benihana. Jay or «Brad Pitt» was by far the best hibachi chef I have ever had, and I have been to a lot. On top of that the food was excellent!!! For anyone wanting a fun night and great food go here.

Great place to eat! Very family friendly. The chef was AMAZING!!! Made jokes during his cooking performance & made sure to talk to everyone at the table. My 6 yo was really hungry so he cooked his steak first — very sweet. Will definitely go back! The only issue preventing 5 stars was the drink waiter was slow & we were seated 30 min after our reservation time.

Ok food, super slow service. We honestly didn’t see our waitress for 26 minutes. Couldn’t understand where she went. But she majically appeared when the cook was done and clearing our tables. The cook was very slow during this dining out. Won’t be back. We were hoping to have a good time since we were staying at the hotel as well (Hilton).

Normally I wouldn’t bother reviewing a restaurant like this but we had such an exceptional experience I felt they deserved the recognition. We had a 7:30 reservation for eight adults and four kids. We asked for one table and we’re seated immediately. It was pretty tight and the manager noticed and offered to move us to another area with two hibachi tables facing each other. Much more comfortable! Our waitress came with us and she was without question the nicest, most attentive and accommodating waitress you can imagine. When our drinks were half empty she asked about refills. When the kids ate all my wife’s fried rice, she brought out extra without being asked. When one didn’t like the chocolate ice cream she brought out some rainbow. The manager checked on us frequently and brought out extra silverware, plates, etc without even being asked when she noticed both being shuffled around.
The food and cooks were both excellent, but it was the outstanding service that made this place stand out.

I’m really sad that I lost the photos I took here. This restaurant was in the hotel my boyfriend and I were staying at in Orlando. It was very efficient to come here to eat, especially during a rainy day.
You can definitely tell this restaurant is american-​ized. I was not expecting for me to be blown away from this place, but the food was quite good. I ordered the hibachi salmon with avocado and tartar sauce. The salmon was cooked well and it tasted great with the tartar sauce. This entrée also came with some fried noodles. To be honest, it did looked plain, but don’t let the looks conceive you! Because the noodles were probably one of the greatest things I have tasted that whole night, I honestly wish there was more. I finally understood why the people around me ordered some sort of noodle entrée, lol.
My boyfriend ordered the hibachi scallops and he thought they were decent, and he really enjoyed the sauce it came with for the vegetables. Speaking of the sauce, I really did wish they used the sauce they gave us with the vegetables, on the house salad. The house salad they have served us tasted a bit sweet and not the usual ginger dressing I was used to.
Overall, this place is great for where we were staying. The service was great and the waiter was very helpful. The food was tasty, especially the sauteed udon noodles!

Do not come here if you have any dietary restrictions. They are not accommodating at all. period. Not to mention the service sucks. As a chef I would assume that this is part of your training. that is learning how to substitute… say…olive oil for butter if you have some one who can’t have dairy… or say a different dressing for a dressing that might have gluten in it if you have other restrictions. I was told this couldn’t happen and then talked about in the back room as I sat and listened. Horrible service as well… filled my friend’s glass as I sat next to her with an empty glass of water. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Had a great experience here and food was delicious, we ordered off the menu in the bar area and portions were more than I expected and very good.

Great service, great atmosphere !!! We enjoy all the time we celebrate my moms birthday they make it more special !!!

We have a similar restaurant chain back home, but every part of the experience from food quality, portion size and service was top notch.
Don’t dine here if you are worried about the price, but if you want large portions of very good food you should stop in.

I definitely enjoyed Benihana… The drinks were fantastic… Our chef Hondy was great he needs to practice a little more, but he made it fun… The food was great… I would have like more vegetables in my hibachi… My kids enjoyed the Benihana experience… I would recommend Benihana’s for a great meal… Keep in mind you will smell like you cooked the meal when you leave… lol.

The food was excellent. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. We were promptly greeted and said our table would be ready shortly and offered to set us at the bar. Next time you are there, order the 1964… plum wine, saki, and kettle one vodka. I had 2!!! We got our table with a few other very nice people. The only drawback was the obnoxiously loud group of people behind us. Somebody didn’t teach them manners. Maybe Benihana would consider putting up real walls. The food was amazing just as I expected. Thank you Benihana for the generous $ 30.00 Birthday Certificate and the taking of our picture and putting it in a frame, We drove all the way from St Petersburg because I wanted Benihana for my birthday. Can’t wait to do it again.

Being a fan of Benihana it hurts me writing a 3 star review for them.
We were seated and our waitress was so slow. Took forever to take our drink orders and to being them out to us. It seemed every step just took forever. Now the good was delicious and the Cook was awesome. He did some tricks we never saw before and was funny.
We visited the location on idrive the week prior and the service was not up to par either. I hope this isn’t a new direction for Benihana because we visit too often to have this type of service.
This review is more like 3 ½ stars because the food was very good. So if you have a craving for awesome food and have a couple of hours to spare this is the location for you.

I will forever choose here over any other Japanese habachi place! I come a few times a year but this past week was for MOTHER’S DAY.
Clean environment, friendly staff, sometimes a long wait but not this time we got right in. We ordered Rockies Choice and as ALWAYS it was amazing. Our chef’s name was MELVIN who by the way did an AWESOME job. We were able to get the table to ourselves which was nice because Melvin really took the time to listen to our orders and prepare our food exactly how we wanted it. Overall, I had had a wonderful time with my family and will be back here again.

The food and drinks were amazing. The waitress was very attentive and quick. Great experience.

Amazing Habachi.
The food was cooked perfectly. The table ordered a variety of entrée options from lobster to chicken and everything was served in such a timely fashion. There were two persons in our party and the service was prompt and efficient.
We enjoyed a round of drinks and an appetizer at the bar and then followed up with dinner grill side.
Nothing was over cooked and the food was delicious.
Great place to visit whether a small party or large.

Love this place! Everytime in town, my place for a great hibachi meal. Service is fast. Food is delicious! Not to mention the Green Tea ice cream for dessert. Sake is always good. Make sure you make reservations if you don’t want to wait.

I have definitely experienced better. First of all, the staff were very friendly. Each time I entered they greeted me with a welcome in Japanese. And I entered 3 times, to get a menu, to order, and the last one was for the most unfortunate reason. While they have the customer service portion nailed in a great way, the food was disappointing to say the least.
I appreciated that as a solo traveler I could order half of rolls. I like variety in flavor. I also ordered a side of veggie fried rice. I had my evening all planned out: grab sushi to go, throw on comfy clothes, and watch the latest episodes of MasterChef. That is a recipe for a great relaxing night for me.
I ate a couple pieces of sushi before I noticed it… you can probably guess it… one of the worst things you can get in your food, I got it. Barf! I immediately packed it up and took it back. I also tried the fried rice and it was so heavy in onions. Almost a 1:1 ratio of rice kernel to chopped onion. Just not good.
Thankfully, the manager was very nice and returned my meal without question. Great customer service, just bad experience with food and I went to bed hungry and a bit grossed out.

This restaurant is immaculate. The options for dining are hibachi, tables, or the bar. The welcome crew were all really nice.
I had two rolls and tasted my friend’s roll. The spider roll was awesome. I have never had one that looked like this (it wrapped in some kind of yellow situation), but it was glorious. My friend has a Vegas roll. While these rolls looked like nipples, they were awesome! I also tasted their chicken rice from the hibachi grill. So very good.
Overall, I was very, very happy and would return.
