Kind of boring for the grown folks. It did seem that the kids liked it. A lot of sing a long shows get kids involves in these types of shows. They sing latest hits but using different lyrics to go along with their costumes. It was just nice for us to sit down from walking so much and sitting in a nice shade for a little bit.

This a kind of a cheesy review featuring Beetlejuice from the 80’s movie of the same name. It features other monsters such as Dracula, Frankenstein, the wolfman and more singing and dancing to a bunch of pop song snippets. Some of the singers, especially Fantasia, were great but others really couldn’t keep it in tune. The choreography was a bit off for the dancers as well. It was worth getting out of the sun for a few minutes but I think I heard where this show is done after a few more weeks.

It was like a mildly okay high school production… not something I’d suggest if you are short on time at universal…

I hit up BeetleJuice’s Graveyard Revue twice. It’s a fun show and makes me long for the HALLOWEEN season. Its cool that BeetleJuice is still KICKIN’ at Universal and Im kinda surprised B.J. doesn’t have a spooky ride of his own(possibly to compete with Haunted Mansion at Disney) So why only four stars? Because I think MORE could be done with B.J.

This show has been a long running staple at Universal Studios. It’s been updated several times over the years. The premise of the show is that Beetlejuice rounds up some of his monster friends for a graveyard revue full of singing and dancing to some of your favorite rock and pop tunes. Is it corny? Yes. Is it campy? Yes. But is it fun? Yes! The most recent incarnation of the show features the monsters sighing mashups. While the singing and dancing does get my toe tapping, one of the best parts is Beetlejuice’s ad libbing and quick quips. Usually, there are some references to current events and pop culture which are always good for a nice laugh. When show times fit into my park visit, I’ll stop and watch this show! It’s good for a nice break from the craziness of the theme park!

Who doesn’t love beetlejuice? This is a nice musical show where you are entertained while taking a break from all the walking and standing around in the park. It is better than you think it is, so if you have never stopped to see it, go see it. There’s a reason why it has withstood the times and has been here for many years.

This is a fun show. It is NOT geared towards kids, and that’s OK for me. Great music, good looking actors and actresses in tight pants and short skirts with off color jokes and lots of groin thrusting action! Life is good!

Unless you have kids, skip it. I love the Beetlejuice movie, and expected this to be campy and perhaps musically entertaining. But it was just SUPER cheesy and poorly executed… the costuming, the dancing and singing, all of it. For some reason, I thought it would be live music, but there are no instruments — just live singing. If we had seated ourselves on the edge, I would have quietly snuck away! Instead we stayed for the full ~15-minute façade.

Anyone that grew up in the 90’s loves a good Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! moment. This show brought me back a little to my childhood. I loved Beetlejuice growing up and this was a fun show. The music was a variety of today’s hits mixed with some good old classic rock and even a little oh BJ you’re so fine, youre so fine you blow my mind, oh BJ! The wolf man, Frankenstein, Frankenstein’s bride, Beetlejuice, some cheerleaders, and Dracula made up this entertaining cast of entertainers. We saw the show durning the day and it was good. I’m sure it would be better at night so you would really enjoy the special effects and lighting.

This was cute. I went in thinking I would be bored to tears but it was actually pretty fun. Beetlejuice’s zingers are at first regrettably dull but his one-liners start to grow on you as you ease into the silliness of the whole thing. Take this show with a grain of salt, please. Don’t take it too seriously and you’ll enjoy yourself. It’s not meant for you anyway and your kids will most likely love it. Along with Wolfman, Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula, and two cheerleader-type girls shaking their pom-poms(ahem), Beetlejuice rocks out to some classic 80s hits such as the ever-popular female empowerment song, «I will survive»; the nostalgic, jealousy-ridden«Jessie’s Girl»(with a switch-up on the namesake); and ACDC’s rock anthem«You Shook Me All Night Long»(I’m actually surprised they didn’t change the very sexual line upfront!). The actors have fun with it all and at one point, Wolfman scared the crap out of some old lady in the audience. Ha. Beware the Wolfman! Oww-ooooooh!
