Azteca D’ Oro

We ordered food for a party 7 hours ago to be picked up at 630p Not only not ready but they did not even begin making it until we arrived to pick up so waited 35 minutes or so No apologies It was ridiculous! Fiesta platter awesome friends loved it! Totally made up for delay! Party loved it!

I loved the atmosphere! The wall murals were beautiful. Jose made fresh guacamole at our table and specifically to our liking. I had a combination platter with a tamale and enchilada. The tamale tasted just like my moms. The food portions were large. Next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely be back at this place!

Great restaurant with GOOD food and service. Well priced for the amount of food you get. Definitely will revisit.

There drinks and bar is great the food is so so big portion but not really tasty or it might be me just used to New York Mexican food. Chipotle chicken. Is no good.

I have only amazing things to say about this restaurant! They quickly accommodated my party of 7 with no reservations in under 10 minutes. I came on a Friday during happy hour and their house margaritas, sangria, and beers are 2 for 1!!! The margaritas are just out of hand; I especially enjoyed the passion fruit flavored. Everyone loved their food. Our waiter Josh was phenomenal! He was able to keep up with my lively group and always kept a great attitude and smile on his face. I will be visiting this place again when I come back to Orlando.

Nachos are amazing and can eat 2. Ochata drink is also very delicious and well made. The mariachis come around and sing to you at the table. It’s great authentic Mexican food mixed with their culture and a great time!!!

Came here for dinner on a weeknight at my parents’ recommendation. I’m a loyal Agave Azul patron when I’m in Orlando but they kept singing Azteca’s praises so I finally decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did.
We were greeted and seated immediately in the bar area. It was happy hour, which is never a bad thing. While I didn’t get to sample a frozen margarita, they were good sized and looked delicious. Our server was awesome-​very attentive, and even took our orders without writing anything down. Being that there were 5 of us and everything arrived to order, I found this nothing short of amazing.
Speaking of amazing, this is authentic Mexican food. I loved and ate every single bite of my meal. My 4 year old son, who ordered the mac and cheese off of the kids meal, ended up taking his home and instead ate most of the hard taco that I had on my plate. They do their queso a little bit differently-​and it comes mixed with chopped spinach. I certainly wasn’t expecting that but I found it to be quite tasty.
All in all this is a fantastic Mexican restaurant and I’m looking forward to going there again next time I’m in Orlando.

I loved this place! The services is wonderful, you have a huge selection to choose from and man oh man is it good!
Big portions so be prepared to take some home.

Fajita sampler is enough for 2 to share. No waiting to sit at the bar. Gets packed after 7 on the weekend. Short wait to be seated. Nice to have something on the west side of town. Staff friendly. Nice atmosphere. TVS near the bar are if you want to watch the orlando city soccer or sports.

We finally made it in for dinner! Ended up being Taco Tuesday! Sweet! 8 varities of tacos, all were good with the only down side was the Pork Carnitas was a bit dry, but let me tell you, the fish taco more then made up for it!
Drinks were perfect and the Azteca Loco packs a punch!
The service was spectacular!!! Patty and Jose kept things moving the entire time but it was our Waiter/​Bartender Wilo that made it worth being here and secured a return visit!

I’ve came a couple times after my birthday dinner here and the service and food have been phenomenal. I even got my parents and sister to come back here with their friends. However, I am currently sitting here waiting on our server, Jessica, and honestly debating whether or not to come back. She has stopped by our table to only take our order and I have had to tell another server to get her to come back twice. We received the food already and now trying to wave her down again for our first refills. Whenever she comes to the table, she acts like we’re a bother to her… one of the worst dining experiences ever. Management needs to have a serious sit down with her because all the other servers have been a pleasure.

The food was delicious with huge portions and fair prices. The order came out quickly and mostly right.
The server tried, but I think she might not have been with it today… If she is ever with it.

Happy hour from 3−6pm and 10pm-​closing every day. I always get their frozen margaritas which are two for one. (Each one served in really big goblets)
Their must try is the Blanco Burrito. I can probably drink the cheese that is smothered over the burrito. It is SO good!
Live mariachis one weekends to really make the place even more authentic.

Came here with the family on a trip to Disney. I wasn’t in the mood for Mexican but was happy with the experience. They had a Mariachi band going table to table playing and singing music which was pretty cool and they had a woman making balloon animals. My daughter loved her Minnie Mouse balloon and my niece loved her Unicorn.
We ordered the Queso for an appetizer and it was really good. It was a white queso with spinach. The bowl was empty in no time.
For my entrée I ordered the fish tacos which came with white rice and beans on the side. The rice was bland and I ate maybe 2 bites. The beans were actually really good and I am not a bean person. The fish tacos were awesome. They were blackened tilapia. It came with 3 and I wish I had more but was very satisfied.
Would I come again if I make it back to Orlando… sure…but only if I crave Mexican.

Happened to b here on Taco Tuesday: all u can eat tacos under12 $. Best part: u can mix tacos,
i tried probably 6different ones– my fave was simple ground beef soft shell. But all were good, was fun to get all different.

I’m not sure if it’s because this restaurant is in a somewhat rundown part of town or what, but this was a pleasant surprise! We came by for dinner not knowing what to expect, but we were overcome with positive vibes upon entering. While waiting to be called to our table (less than 10 minutes), we both commented on the cool interior that was unlike the typical Mexican restaurant.
The bar seemed cool, the chandeliers were funky and the mariachi band was awesome. This wasn’t the type of band you’d expect, but rather a modern approach that worked because the singer had a great voice; she was able to sing a large variety of classic songs. The meal itself began with complimentary chips and a couple bowls of delicious salsa. The salsa was on the chunky side which is my preference and it had a great balance of spice and tang. I ordered Chicken Fajitas (solid taste, large portion) while my gf ordered Tacos Al Pastor (very tasty). Both of our meals came with Mexican Rice (ok), beans (good enough) while my fajitas also brought guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo.
The meal ended with an order of their sopapillas which were actually very tasty; they were covered in a bit more sugar and cinnamon than I’ve seen in the past which was a welcome addition. Our server (Zeus) was very friendly and offered nice service throughout the night.
I can’t quite place my finger on it, but we really enjoyed our meal a lot. The food was solid, nowhere near amazing, but the totality of the meal truly left us with a good feeling. I’ll definitely return.

Azteca d’ Oro is a great addition to the westside Tex Mex dining scene. I’d been to the OBT location many times, but it’s great that there is now one on West Colonial.
This former Steak and Ale has been completely remodeled so that it looks like a Mexican restaurant on the outside, and the inside is considerably nicer than it was. They resisted the shabby Mexico look and instead went with a nice upscale feel, with a neat bar full of backlit bottles, and very cool glittery gold star lights throughout.
The food is well-​prepared Tex Mex, with all the favorites, and many different fillings available in each item. They also offer Molcajete bowls, which are filled with an authentic sort of stew.
Service is fast and friendly, and lunch pricing is very reasonable.

Went to Azteca D’ Oro for lunch today for the first time.
My wife was very excited because they have many Gluten Free options. All dishes are marked GF on their printed menu (See attached picture)
Sunday lunch was busy but we still had good service. The place is nice, I like their decorations.
Aside from all the usuals, they have a nice seafood menu with several options. I really enjoy their «Mariscos Mojo de Ajo»
Overall a very good experience.

My girlfriend and I came here for dinner, We were greeted right away by a super nice lady who showed us to our table. As soon as we sat down our waiter came by, introduced himself and gave us chips and salsa. Our food came out quick and was amazing. We both ordered a burrito which was plenty!
We could not have expected more from a brand new restaurant, Service was great and the food was even better. Staff was very attentive huge bar selection and massive menu!
We will definitely go back.
