Wow, what service! We came back in town to find out that our AC was not blowing cold air. We called them, since they have been here in the past. The AC technician put on some shoe covers, before coming in, which was really nice. He arrived within an hour, the guy was super nice. Non-​salesman, non pushy and didn’t try to scam me, like mose AC repair companies would try to do. He went above and beyond, found the issue & fixed it. He also poured a cleaner into the drain to unclog any debris that may be there. Then he changed out my AC filter, that I happened to have sitting next to the AC unit and he threw away the old one. Great company and it was only $ 189 total for the repair and additional items he did at no charge. 5 Stars for honest reliable companies!

We are in Orlando, FL and over a year ago we started having problem with our A/​C system. Within a year we had brought in two different A/​C companies technicians and had no happy results. Now, a few days ago after my husband called many A/​C companies for quotes and information, we choose the Orlando/​Orange County Action Air of Florida. We were looking for a reasonable, reputable, dependable and trustworthy A/​C company. Since the first time we called the office at 407−521−0400, we received an excellent customer service from the office staff. Then, when Mr. John Nowakowski called us to get more information about our unit’s problem and for pricing, we were very impressed with his extreme professionalism, courtesy, listening skills, polite attitude and expertise. We were very comfortable explaining to him the A/​C issue we had and he patiently and clearly explained what it was wrong with it in full detail. He also informed us about their financial options which it was a relief for us. Mr. Nowakowski, the office staff as well as the crew are extremely committed to provide an outstanding and excellent superior affordable service. Their honesty, fairness, and trustworthiness are well beyond superior.
The two gentlemen (Bob and Xavier) assigned to repair our system came in 15 minutes early and the work was completed sooner than we expected and the results exceeded our expectations. Before they started the job, they checked the system and informed us in detail the problem. They also covered our wood floor as well as the working area, very consider it of them. They carefully removed and dismantled the old air handler and replace it with a new one making sure there was not damage to the frame of the door where the unit is in the floor and walls of the hallway. The job was done with and extreme carefulness and neatness. These guys were very informative, professional, friendly and courteous. We received a fast, friendly, and professional top-​quality service from a reliable, first class, sound company. We are extremely happy with my experience and the results of a job very well done. We highly recommend to anyone who might need or is in need of an A/​C service to check Orlando’s Orange county Action Air of Florida first. They were late to arrive, charged $ 55 trip charge to Winter Park, charged tax for service, charged 1.5hrs for work that was 1hr. They are a terrible outfit and dont deserve your business!!! I am not done with you…

I only give them one star because there is not a no star rating. We contracted this company to purchase and install a new heat and air unit. They offered a price for «no permit» which is required by law in Florida to have. My mistake for not running then. We said we must have it permitted and proceeded to the installation of our choice of equipment. They did not apply for our permit until we called the bank and reversed payment, then and only then did they apply for the permit whining all the way saying it’s too difficult and they require to many papers and they didn’t know where to go, etc. Once they got the permit, after they installed the equipment the week before (collected payment and would not return phone calls), and now knowing there will be an inspection, they try and tell us they want to make sure the heater is running okay and just to make sure they want to send a tech out to see it and they will bring another heater just in case (one that was not what we paid for and incompatible with our unit). When they get here we find out the NEW heater never worked so they left it unconnected in the unit. We refused to let them out the unmatched substandard equipment in. They weren’t going to tell us but I insisted they get my permit for inspection so now they had to try and cover their tracks. Shame on them! Story to continue… Unfortunately. Inspection tomorrow

I’ve used Action Air to replace or service four or five AC units at different properties over the years. Their service people were always friendly and accommodating, and their prices seemed competitive.
Unfortunately my latest experience has been poor. Asked to install a humidifier in my wine cellar, they were unable to connect to the controller I specified, and the unit was unable to maintain the humidity required to preserve the proper storage conditions. Their response was to ignore our calls for months, and then to deny that 70% was the correct humidity for wine cellars, a widely known fact.
Then, to add insult to injury, they charged me over $ 500 for «changes» I never requested and will have to hire someone else to undo, since they rendered the system less reliable than when they started.
When a company’s focus is on billing rather than service it’s time to find someone else.
