Burrito Jalisco

The food is on par with pretty much any «authentic» Mexican restaurant. However the reason I won’t go back is the absolutely deplorable service, both dine-​in and take out. In addition to slow service the waitresses are rude and consistently get orders wrong. And if to add literal insult to the injurious serving: they talk about customers In a negative manner in Spanish. I had a waitress call me an impatient white boy. Uh oh I’m also an educated, bilingual white boy who won’t be coming back here. I suggest you don’t either.

Food is good but service is horrible! Moses M. messed up BOTH of our orders and was very rude about it!!! Never going back because he seems to be one of only 2 people that work there.

Food has much improved from years ago or my taste has changed. Their tacos are so good and they recognize customers that come in often. And again the staff is so friendly! I always get steak taco with cilantro and onion only. Yum!

Yummy! Love almost all their food and their service is great too. Plus they are fast which is especially helpful when you’re bringing 2 young kids along for dinner.

food was good huge portions but my burrito was super greasy dripping from it and making a huge puddle on the plate chips and salsa is good and hot and you all need to give free refills on sodas

I’ve been going to Burrito Jalisco for years and every experience I have had there has been amazing. The Burrito Suizo is gigantic and delicious. Definitely one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants in the area.

I always order tacos with lettuce and tomatoes, no cheese or onions. Somewhere between the way the order is relayed to the cooks or the cooks not understanding, I get cheese on my tacos.
On 06/​18, I ordered the above and got onions and lettuce. Went back to Jalisco’s, no apologies for my inconvenience, etc. I confronted the female manager and she advised «that it could have been my fault for the receiving the wrong food; maybe I told her the wrong thing.»
After receiving my food the second time, I received lettuce, tomatoes, and onions.
I will take full responsibility for continuing to spend my money at Jalisco’s after numerous times of not receiving my food the way I asked for it.
To the female manager at Jalisco’s, please get rid of the attitude and get some customer service skills. I am finally done spending my money at Jalisco’s.
Called the owner, Lupita, and she was very apologetic and offered me free tacos at the same location, but I choose not to go there anymore because of the manager and repeated mistakes of receiving incorrect food.
Shouts out to Lupita for having great customer service skills, now she should get her manager some customer service training.
Food is good, but customer service is crappy!!!

My favorite thing here is the pork tacos! I order them with cilantro onions and cheese. I can only eat one they’re so big! I also like the chili relleno burrito. The food is authentic Mexican. There is nothing fancy here. The place is kind of run down but the food is good. They have ½ price margaritas I think M-​W! The prices are reasonable.

Great food, the staff however as a whole is aweful. It’s rare that you get anyone there who is genuinely happy to serve you. Overall they are pretty rude and make dining there unpleasant. I usually do take out and even then be prepared for a rude attitude especially if you deal with a young lady by the name of Viry.

Came here w my husband. I had steak sopes which were bigger than most places and they load it up w steak. They were really tasty the only thing I didn’t like is that you have to pay extra for sour cream — most places usually add it automatically. My husband had the steak enchiladas verde which he loved. The service was slow — we ordered guacamole which never came we had to remind him when he brought our dinner. The server never came back to ask if we needed anything and we waited 15 minutes after we were done eating before we flagged down another server to get us a to go container and our check.

Went there for lunch. Needing something quick and local. No meat fridays for me.
Ha a great lunch. Taco/​tostada combination. Stuffed pepper taco and veggie tostada. Man, did it hit the spot. Also had the pica de gallo (chop sauce). Thought it tasted off. Mentioned to the nice waitress, and she had the chef whip up a fresh new batch. Wow, it was good.
Lunchmate had a veggie burrito. Equally tasty as well. Left her a big tip. She earned it.
Will be back.

Great attentive staff, food always timely and well made. Only one small concern, my husbands burrito was really greasy last night, that has never happened before. But, we will still come back and try again.

The atmosphere is kind of south side strip mall restaurant. Plastic booths and nothing fancy. But the pork and steak tacos are THE BEST in the south suburbs! Great place to grab a pitcher of beer and some inexpensive but delicious Mexican. Friendly staff.

Very nice establishment. Food is great, and service is polite and friendly. Doesn’t matter if you dine in or carry out, mutual respect is given from all perspectives.

The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is lovely. Really enjoy the service and the music in the background. Cynthia is the best!!!

This place used to be amazing but has terribly fallen apart over the last year or so. Prices went up quality has gone down severely.

I have been going here for years, this is the second time I’ve ordered the steak & chicken fajitas, horrible, loaded with a pile of green peppers hardly any chicken or steak… so disappointed, I don’t know what’s going on but I thought I’d try again, margaritas are excellent, for the price of the fajitas I won’t be coming back: (

No doubt my favorite Mexican. It’s a pretty chill atmosphere with some great traditional Mexican food. I usually get the guacamole and chicken tacos but everything on the menu is pretty delicious.

I went there the other day for lunch with my Husband and I was so disappointed with the chips, ordered some guacamole, It was so bland and the chips… I could tell they were from the night before and they just threw them back in the fryer, they were hard as a rock… and they really should change their oil in the fryer, Took the leftovers home, why? I don’t know, I opened the guacamole the next evening and it never had even changed color, I told my husband when we were eating «this is fake guac»!! No taste they used some yogurt mix, We both decided we are so done with this place! When a mexican restaurant cant provide real avocados thats BAD!!! The server was very nice and thats why the one star.

This was a «second chance» for Burrito Jalisco for us. Our first visit we received our appetizer and our meal before our drinks. This visit was nearly the same. Hopefully you visit when there are 2 or more servers on duty at a time. Your likelihood of being attended to is much higher then! Would love to get our $ 4o back. We are great tippers, painfully these visits yielded 10% for our servers.
