I sure do love Aldi. Growing up my mother shopped here 20 years ago and boy have they revamped their image. I can buy organic produce here for LESS than the price of NON-organic items, say at Jewel. I hope their selection of organic items increases, but for now the organic kale, spinach, milk, tomatoes, honey, beef among other items are alll weekly staples in my cart. For health conscious individuals, I definitely recommend to check it out. To keep prices low, they do NOT accept credit cards, you bag your own groceries, and you pay a quarter to «rent» a cart. If this bothers you, dont go, but these are small inconveniences in relation to the savings.

Aldi. The stock up store. Remember those commercials in the 1980’s? Well, Aldi must have had a face lift and revamped its image because they’re definitely much better than they were 20 years ago. They had a nice selection of organic products, fresh produce and my favorite: Milagro Corn Tortillas! I had to stock up and ship these delectable goodies for my next Taco Tuesday. Miss ya, Aldi. And for your enjoyment, Aldi’s musical debut!

This is probably the best Aldi I have been to. I think it is because the shelves are actually stocked and they often have two or three cashiers.

I like the one in Oak Forest better. They have better customer service, maybe my skin wasn’t the right color?

I have never been to one before, and someone at work told me they go there all the time. So I went to get a cart and to my suprise. You need a quarter. O.K. I go back to my car and look for one. I head back and as I go in it hits me how small the place is. I don’t recognize anything exept red barron pizza’s? I manage to pick up a few things and I head to the register. Cash or debit card only. At this point it really wasn’t worth my time to even bother checking out. This store is fine for a lot of people. I’m not a lot of people. I will pay a little more for more products and better service. When I tried finding the phone number on yellowpages so I could put it on this review. I thought I would have to Unilocal them to, for not having the listing. Nope! It’s Aldi. I went to their web site and they don’t list the numbers for any of their stores. WTF! How cheap can you get?
