I absolutely loved this place! First of all, it is clean. I mean really really clean. The bathroom, the tables, everywhere you look is spotless. Secondly, their teas are fantastic! Last, but not least, their crepes are heavenly. I ordered Nutella/Strawberry and can’t stop salivating while writing this haha. It was the most delicious sweet crêpe I have ever had. I am going back before I leave SLC area.

I liked this place. I went forever ago so I don’t remember exactly what I ordered, but it was good! They have a good selection of choices both savory and sweet(hence their name). You need to be patient here, as the service is slow. But overall it was good and I would go again.

We’ve gone to this place for years and loved it. They upgraded the atmosphere and changed the menu quite a bit in that time. The menu is a little eclectic with savory and sweet(hence the restaurant name) crepes and pasta. Be warned the pastas aren’t great so I recommend the crepes. My fav is the Thai Curry. My sister loves City Hunter. Savory crepes come with a side of potatoes so I always end up feeling full. All the dessert crepes are great especially the cheesecake crêpe(literally has chunks of cheesecake in it). There are 2 main reasons we keep going back for the last 4 years: 1) the owners are amazing. The couple who own it are extremely friendly and recognize return customers. 2) plenty of gluten free options– including a large selection of both savory and sweet crepes.

Before you read my review, you should know this about me: I’m a southern Californian born in Taiwan. I’ve lived in north Orange County all my life minus the four years I spent in UT for college. I love to eat, and refuse to eat anything I don’t think taste good. REFUSE. I don’t mind spending money to eat well. My parents owned two sandwich shops while I was growing up. I worked there as a kid, through college and beyond, so I’m a big fan of mom and pop shops. A few of my friends in UT/BYU told me about this place, and I was glad I went. It’s in a strip mall like setting, which I was a bit surprised to find. The good things about this place: 1. QUICK service. Holy cow, we got all three of our crepes in less than 10 minutes. She made them individually and I think she might have been the only one back there! WOW! 2. Clean establishment. I don’t know if I’d paint a place green because it suppresses appetite, but it sure it pleasant to look at. Cute décor. 3. The food is better than your standard crêpe place. The crepes themselves were alright(a little thick for my taste) but the innards were excellent. We had the strawberry with chocolate sauce(the strawberries were fresh) and the Korean Seoul something. That sucker was excellent. We also tried the Thai chicken. You may just ask them to kick it up a knotch if you like non-bland food. I think the owner is trying to go for a universal appeal and turned down the spice to zero, which is a darn shame. After some salt and pepper, it was good! The not so good things about this place: 1. It is NOT a place to take lots of your friends. Definitely a smaller, more intimate setting. You won’t find parking either. That’s about it. I literally have no other criticism. I spoke with the owner extensively. She’s originally from Taiwan and moved to Canada. Her background is interior designs. =) She’s in UT because her daughter has gone to school, gotten married and started her family there. Her daughter studied gourmet cooking and all the recipes in this restaurant are hers. Everything is made from scratch. Don’t be afraid to ask questions or tell her how you want things. I honestly think she’s welcome it!

I had only ever had dessert crepes so was interested in this place and was not disappointed. Now I have nothing but good things to say about Sweet and Savory. They have something for every taste. It is a cozy environment ran by a sweet, quick witted family that remembers their customers. The Thai Curry and Sausage and Gravy crepes are my favorites. I’m always so full that I haven’t had a chance to explore the dessert menu too much. They do have a yummy selection of teas though. I highly recommend this place!

This place threw me off at first because it doesn’t look like a typical crepes place… But the crepes were AWESOME! I’ve only liked my mom’s crepes(she’s a kiwi) and these were the first crepes that guve mom’s a run for their money. My friends had the Seoul and Thai curry crepes. I had the Teriyaki chicken crêpe. D.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s. Then I had the mango custard crêpe. If I could so delicious again x 10, I would. Great place for lunch. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but reviews were pretty positive. Luckily we weren’t in a hurry as its a pretty small staff, but very personable. Based on reviews I ordered the Touch of Seoul, and my wife took a chance on the Cowboy BBQ. Don’t know if the pictures will do it justice but the right texture for the crepes, he right amount of sauces, the tender and savory meat combined to make a wonderful mouthful with every bite. The roasted potatoes on the side were also very good. For dessert, every crêpe looked amazing but we had to go with the BananaFoster. Amazing!

Hit the spot! I got the ham and cheese savory crêpe and my husband and I shared a sweet banana Nutella ice cream crêpe. It was AMAZING! I loved the relaxing atmosphere the most. Good place for nice conversation. We were visiting from Dallas and will be definitely be coming back for our next Utah visit.

Very pleasant atmosphere, I like that it was a sit-down place. Not crowded at all for a weekend. The food was great and they had lots of choices. It’s a good enough size to get a savory and a sweet crêpe.

I didn’t think it lived up to the hype. Granted, I could have just been having one of those days where I generally don’t enjoy food as much as usual, or it could have been that I didn’t choose the best dish. My husband got the Seoul connection and I got the city hunter. They were pretty big and filling for crepes, but I thought mine was too cream cheesy and not bbq/ranchy enough. The meats in both crepes didn’t taste that great of quality to me. The bananas foster crêpe was delicious, however. Overall, I think I prefer the roll up café when it comes to crepes, even if you don’t get quite as much food for your money.

Pretty disappointing. I can get it, it’s the hype amd it’s new, refreshing, creative etc but the food/dessert isn’t worth it. Took about 20 Min just to get water. I got the berries crepes. In my picture, the circles are the blocks of cream cheese. It’s presentation was nice, but what matters is the food on the inside and the taste. It was terrible! Barely any fruits, block of cream cheese and nothing but whipped cream. Its a ridiculous amount of sweet and heavy! Not worth the money, it’s something you can make at home or get at a better place! Really disappointed especially waiting 20 min for water and another 20 min for a heavy diabetes dessert. Advice; why not spread the cream cheese or add ice cream with the crepes, less whipped cream amd more fruits. We’re not paying for that diabetes shit.

This place is 100% fantastic. We make a lot of crepes at our house, and I’ll be the first to admit that we don’t do it French style. Fortunately, neither does this place. They’ve taken a beautiful, perfect piece of food, and made it an art form. Their unique savory crepes are wonderful, and their sweet crepes are heavenly. I will now sing praises.(insert hallelujah chorus) We had the Chicken Cordon Bleu and the Seoul Connection. Loved how the flavors didn’t smother the crepes, and everything worked together perfectly! They’ve spend a lot of time making the place look great and their menus are crazy nice(I’m not sure how that helps, but you’ll see what I’m talking about). The owners were great, we chatted for a while because we came at an off time and the place wasn’t busy. Honestly, this place is amazing. Go here! Do it! Do it now!

This place rocks my world. It shattered me and broke me down, then built me back up as a stronger person. It taught me friendship, love, care, honesty… This is the place to go and the place to be. I came here TWICE in one week. TWICE! I don’t do that with many restaurants because I’m more interested in finding new places, but this place could not even handle me. On the first trip, I ordered a Raspberry Nectar herbal tea(PIPINGHOT and DELICOUS and served in ADORABLETEASETS), the City Hunter crêpe(STUFFED to the RAFTERS with CHICKEN, FLAVOR, ANDLITERALHAPPINESS), and a strawberry cheesecake crêpe(LITERALLYFULLTOTHEBRIMWITHACTUALCHEESECAKECHUNKS and FRESHSTRAWBERRIESANDCREAM!!!) to share with my loving mother. I can’t even talk about this food without feeling happiness stir within me. This place is amazing. The owners are a husband and wife team, and they whip up the most amazing crepes I have ever had. They’re sometimes a little slow, as the wife is the hostess and waitress herself, but she’s impossibly kind and always willing to chat and laugh with you. The location is… yeah, not the best or most convenient. But it’s honestly worth all the«trouble» to get there and STUFFYOURENTIREFACEWITHCREPES.

The Banana Foster’s crêpe was worth the extra dollar or two. Skip the more plain Nutella w/Strawberry sauce though. The eating area was clean and nicer than you’d expect from a strip mall crêpe house.

Savory and sweet has figured the perfect portion to price ratio. A bunch of previous reviewers have taken great pictures that show how well they are presented. My only wish is that they would use real whipping cream on the sweet crepes. I’m not a fan of readiwhip etc and it kind of ruined the taste. Real whipping crème would take it to 5 star level for me. The owner is really nice. She came to our table and thanked us for our business. It’s not often you feel appreciated and are thanked for frequenting an establishment.

I’ve been working near Orem this last week and have been horribly disappointed by the quality of dining available. That is until I found Savory & Sweet. It’s tucked away in a little strip mall with an unassuming storefront so I can see why my co-workers don’t know about it. It’s wonderful! First night there I had the Chicken Cordon Bleu and the Banana Foster for dessert. The Chicken Cordon Bleu wasn’t my favorite, but it was good. As for the Banana Foster, I have 4 words… banana foster from heaven! My only complaint here is that I didn’t have a spoon to scoop up all the sauce. I tried with my fork though and even though about cleaning the plate off with my tongue. It was THATGOOD! I went back on Thursday night and had a wonderful Thai Coconut Curry Crêpe for dinner and a banana, strawberry, nutella crêpe for dessert. Both were very good. I made sure to tell my co-workers to give it a try and I’ll come back when I’m here again!
