Sorry i had a bad experience. I ordered the milanesa napolitana as the picture looked great but when It came it was not at all the image. I took 2 bites as the meat was hard to chew. I asked for the check and no one even asked why I didn’t eat it or if i wanted something else. Common sense i figured would dictate the client didnt like the food. Go out of your way to make it right.

All I have to say is cheese empanadas! The crust was flaky, the cheese was hot & delicious! Definitely have to try these!

Some of my favorite things are meat wrapped in bread, so I was happy to see many of the menu options were variations of this theme. A churasco palta is steak and avocado tucked in a fresh backed bun. The completo was a hot dog with … many fixings … also with bread. Both were good, and the service was pleasant. They even updated the interior since I was there last. Definitely worth a visit.

Had to give it a 1 to counter some of these reviews. Ok, I’ll give it a 2 because the old man was so nice. Empanadas are not a dollar. $ 1.99 and that’s the best thing i had. Pretty expensive for latin food, and the«meat» empanada was more of an onion empanada, with a couple olives and a random egg slice. I don’t have sentimental ties to Chilean food from my mission, so if you don’t either, you shouldn’t trust these returned mormon missionary reviews, just as you shouldn’t trust them ON their missions: D

If you know Argentine food, you’ll definitely enjoy a quick stop in here. I’ve never tried Chilean food, but as one might assume, it’s quite similar to their eastern neighbor’s. The chimichurri has a little more of a salsa-like pizazz. Very tasty. The cheese empanadas were pretty tasty as well. Full disclosure– my dad was a chef for 26 years and often whips up Argentine food for the family, so I definitely had expectations of a place called«Lomito’s.» I truly wasn’t disappointed, but I also wasn’t blown away. And so I shall repeat, it’s worth a shot!

This place is good! Great food — definitely freshly made and not your basic restaurant food. Kind of a simple atmosphere but seemed clean and tidy. Definitely try it if you want Chilean, Argentine or Peruvian food.

The lomito palta tomate or Italiano was awesome. It blew my mind, better than in Chile ;) and the empanadas were delicious. Definitely coming back every time I can. Si es Chileno es Bueno dicen por ahi.

For me, Argentine food is comfort food. I said goodbye to my teenage years in Argentina, and some of my best days were spent there in difficult, but character-building times. Simpler times in so many ways. There’s something so simple, yet so mystical about the empanada. I once made a goal to eat 1000 of them in a year, and after falling ill on a batch about 400 in, I stopped that goal. But even then, I still think of the empanada as a comfort food. Flaky fried or baked shell, rolled in that special way, surrounding ground beef or chicken or jamon y queso. If you were lucky, it was real jamon y queso. If not, it was hot dog and cheese food. So it was a wonderful discover to find Lomito’s. There was much empanada-ing. And much choripan(although it was not the choripan of tradition – more like a thin sausage burger?) that brought me back to the days of chorizo and guiso and fideos and facturas. Oh yes, there were facturas too. I never loved dulce de batata, but if you can find the dulce de membrillo, you got’s to get you some. They sell the actual product there, as well as a few other things – yerba mate, dulce de leche, and to my surprise and delight, a surtido bag of galletitas. In my day it was the«desfile» bag(meaning parade) but it’s still mostly that same mix of terrible cookies that gave you comfort. That’s the thing – comfort. Back to those days. Those tough days when you were missing your homeland and bag of cookies made everything a little better. You knew you were going to be just fine, but having a few empanadas, or some cookies just made things a little sunnier.

Limited is a great place that gets overlooked pretty often. The first thing I would say is to understand the idea of the food and don’t go in expecting something completely familiar if you have never tried Chileno food. That being said, the food is great. I’ve never experience anything but good cuts of meat and well cooked, carefully prepared food. The only downside is that it’s not the most comfortable environment to eat in the actual store.

When I come back to visit Utah this is always a spot I must stop by. I’ve been going here for years. My favorite is the churrasco palta, which the owner always reminds me of every time I walk in when I forget the name. The owner is the most genuine person ever and cares about his customers. I believe it’s under new management now but it’s still in the family and the food is still fantastic. This place is a must try, and as I said before«churrasco palta» is all you need to say to have a fantastic meal. The pastries are also quite delicious. Do yourself a favor and try this place!

Lomito’s a great little hole in the wall, it looks a little run down but don’t let that scare you away. They serve Chilean, Peruvian and Argentine food, the menu is simple but all the food is great. I got a fantastic chicken sandwich which had some of the better guacamole I’ve ever had. The service is a little odd, it’s an order at the counter kind of place so I wasn’t expecting much but I did feel a little like we’d interrupted a conversation or something. There are also have very delicious desserts(including churros!!!) and very importantly THEYHAVEINCAKOLA which is very amazing and is like cream soda but citrus-y? I’m not sure how to describe it but it’s awesome and you should definitely try it.

Cristian and his family run a fantastic joint. Hyper-authentic, and fabulously well done. I love the empanadas and churrasco palta and during September/Chilean Independence Day, they have a fantastic mote con huesillo. Love it.

I just want to say, I have tried both Lomitos and Pantrucas multiple times and while I think they are both great, I prefer Lomitos just a bit more. In my experiences, Lomitos has been more affordable, faster, and just as good. I love just getting a couple of cheese enchiladas and browsing the Chilean candies they have in the counter. Also, they sell my favorite Chilean bread that I would always eat while I was a missionary in Chile. This isn’t to say I don’t recommend Pantrucas. Try them both and decide for yourself which of them you prefer. Just make sure to look up their schedule before you go since they have siesta time during the afternoon!

This is a great spot. Writing a bit after I went, so I don’t even remember what I got, aside from it being a Chilean sandwich. They have Argentine, Chilean and Peruvian food. The owner is Chilean, so I figured I had to go with the Chilean options. They also have a great dessert display with baked goods from each of the countries.

Love the cheese empanadas, absolutely amazing. There is a great salsa you can get for them that makes this the best combination of cheesy and spicy.

This place is great! Every time you go you’ll see the same guy, happy as always. The last time I was there I had the Lomo Saltado and was so pleased. It was well seasoned and proportioned. The secret is to get the fry sauce and the chimichuri sauce and mix them. That is a dream team combo that goes well with just about everything I’ve had here. Empanadas are also really good, whether they’re fried or from the horno(oven). Oh, and I love the mil ojos, which is the perfect little snack for after the meal

REALLY yummy BIG sandwich! I had the«lomito argentino»(Argentine steak, fried eggs, and ham sandwhich). The combo comes with fries and soda. The fries were p way better than at any other fast-food or sandwich restaurant I’ve been to. Loved the fries. Loved the sandwich. Loved that they play soccer games. The place is small(which I don’t care about). The décor is very outdated though and I wish they’d let me help them with that… they could really use some help. The staff wasn’t unfriendly, they were polite, but not necessarily friendly/bubbly. It still wasn’t a deal breaker for me in this case because the food is great and we don’t have any place that this in the valley so I’m glad they are here! I do recommend this place for the food(at least what I tasted was great and NOT bland as some reviewers said). I still want to try other things on the menu like their empanadas. Some things were just a tad overpriced but still affordable. Our order did take a long time(about 30 minutes) even though they didn’t have other orders but I want to think it’s because they didn’t have anything pre-made and it was all super fresh? I really want to like this place and the tasty food does help!
