Love the food — save room for La Domenica for dessert.

Food was OK at best. For the price they charged I expected much better. Great décor however the service was horrible. Very inattentive waiters. I never knew who our actual waiter was. Had to request for a drink several times. They forgot orders, etc. Overall environment felt very stressful with all the waiters running around.

Hands down, best Italian food! Friendly wait staff, food is always cooked to perfection, with love and flavor! Must make a reservation as it gets busy.

Went here for my dads 70th birthday dinner. There were 8 adults and 8 kids. We had the Sassafras room which looked out onto the terrace. Such a great dinner, great room. Everything was just excellent. Our waiter, Ricardo, was just fabulous. He was so knowledgeable about the menu, the martinis, the vodkas, their bourbon — everything. We had a fabulous dinner and I would recommend this place if you are looking to host a dinner party and want a room. They have a bunch of rooms to choose from depending on the size of your party. Would definitely go back there again!

Fresco’s is without question my all time favorite restaurant on earth. I came in here ~13years ago when they first opened. Once I actually drive my family 350 miles one way to have dinner here and they were thrilled. The owners are always on site to ensure an awesome experience. Wish I could give a Frank and Andrew 105 stars.

I’m a Dallas native and was in town for a business trip. My boss did not want me to eat across the street at the holiday inn I was staying at, so I was treated with a nice dinner. Service was pretty good, especially when there were Christmas parties going on in the next room. Outside of the nice décor and cozy atmosphere, the food was just ok. The food was kind of bland, and I was expecting better for the price. I think the price you pay is based on the amount of food served. I felt like I didn’t even leave a dent on my plate of Rosemary chicken! But what was on point was the booze and dessert!

Ok, went there last night, party of six. I’ll keep this pretty short. The service ok Nothing OMG but Ok. The farmhouse look is nice as long as you are the right room or else it is just plain room. Here is the problem, the food is just mediocre to bad. The veal parm was beaten to the point it was paper thin. So to make it look pretty and substantial a ton of breading, but the asiago cheese topping was a nice touch to hide the fact there was almost no veal.(lipstick on a pig). My local pizzeria has better veal. The fish was very plain the sauces were unimaginative. The salad, the Blue Cheese dressing tasted like it was from a 3 gallon jug. Cmon guys step up your game. Have you tasted you’re food.

4 and 5 stars??? For what? I mean if you are only reviewing the décor and ambiance then I agree. If you are reviewing the food then you have lost your minds and deserve to be banned from Unilocal and any other consumer review site. I was sent to this restaurant by a friend whose family has been coming here for years and still does. He had nothing but great things to say. Well I cannot support this sentiment. I dined here last night, Saturday. I drove up and parked in the lot. Its a bit unorganized due to lack of space. Not the worst thing I’ve ever seen but not great. I got out and looked around and it is a beautiful space, IMO. Very cool old school farmhouse converted into a restaurant. Has a nice outside patio type area and has a really cool wine cellar you can dine in. Fireplace and bar once you walk in makes it feel cozy yet it has plenty of tables within the rooms inside to give it that bigger feeling. Sat down at a table and the waiter came over asked if we would like drinks which we ordered and then came back for our appetizer order and our entrée. The waiter took his time, his very slow molasses filled time to take our orders, bring our food, and bring our check. The food was just not good. We had the Burrata to start, ICECOLD!!! Why would you do this to me? I did nothing to you! My entrée was the strip steak and my wife the braised short rib with pappardelle. Burned steak. Bad Short Ribs. So far the only thing that was ok was the initial bread basket we had when we walked in. One thing to mention that I found odd… the menu specifically states they do not do substitutions. Not even for allergies. Which the waiter specifically said to me. Also the menu says if you order a steak greater than«Medium» that they are not responsible for the result. WTH! You are responsible for all the food!!! However it does say that you can have fun concocting your own drinks. So in conclusion if you want to drink and hang by the fire, cool. If you want to eat great italian food, go somewhere else. I do not recommend this place to anyone following this Unilocal profile or anyone else.

My family took me out for my birthday dinner here. I was worried if they would be accommodating for my younger boys — and they were! We ordered an app for one and a regular meal for the other. There was not a kids menu but the waiter offered ideas and if we couldn’t find anything he said the kitchen would make chicken fingers. I would not come this this amazing restaurant to have chicken fingers! The food and service were great! I recommend a reservation for the weekend nights.

we’ve been here years ago and loved it but never went back for some reason. 18th century farmhouse, sometimes noisy where we were sitting, but with generous cocktails and food portions. big antipasto, followed by really good food. my pasta with sausage dish was exceptional. my wife and a friend also loved their entrees. big, fresh, delicious. sure to go back… sooner than last time.

The décor inside this place is beautiful. Very elegant. That was my first good impression. However, our waiter was not attentive and when we did see him he seemed rushed and Had a grumpy look on his face. Apart from taking our order and bringing us the bill we didn’t see him in between. I understand dinner time can be a busy hustle time, but these waiters were literally flying around the restaurant in which gave an uncomfortable stress like vibe. The food was plentiful, and it tasted pretty good but took a really long time to come out so when it did arrive I wasn’t hungry anymore. So I doggy bagged it. And last but not least parking is limited so if you plan on coming, try to beat the crowd and get there a few minutes earlier!

Unbelievable food and service! Went there the other night and sat inside, although outside seating is available. The pace of the meal was just right so I didn’t feel rushed. I hate that feeling when the entrees come out and you’re not even done with your appetizers. Also, the bread is to die for. I was told that it’s a special recipe made especially for them by Rockland Bakery. Our waiter, Ricardo was terrific. He knew the menu and the specials very well and the recommendations he made were very targeted. Lovely ambiance, music was just right, the food delicious and overall just an excellent dining experience.

Fresco has an amazing atmosphere, and offers upscale fine Italian dining. Pricey, but you are eating the very best. Their entrees are big, include a salad, and my wife and I shared a cocktail. Overall, very satisfying!

Went with another couple from NYC. Ordered Swordfish which was dry. I asked the waiter for sauce and was told there would be a charge for it. I said OK. 15 minutes later when the sauce arrived, all 4 of us were finished with our dinner. I said, thanks, but no thanks. There was a bit of an argument about it. 5 minutes later, the manager came over, holding the sauce and asked if I would pay for it and take it home in a doggy bag!!! We never experienced anything like this before. Very bizarre and very unprofessional and very poor service. We will never go back!

Was taken here last night for my birthday and it was wonderful! We sat downstairs in the wine cellar and the atmosphere was second to none. Our waiter was one of the best I’ve ever experienced. The martinis are phenomenal and the PENNEALL’ARRABIATTA was delicious! Highly recommend eating here and making a reservation in the wine cellar.

This is one of our local favorites… one that has never ever let us down. I actually owe it to them to write this review as I’d give it 10 stars if I could. The place itself is very old but it’s got a calm, clean and relaxing ambiance to go with its vintage. We’ve tried much of the menu and I can honestly say much praise goes to the professional wait staff as well as the chef. My recommendation, which comes as no surprise, is the chicken parm. Even when you’re chicken parm’d out, there’s just something about the way it’s done here that keeps you satisfied. Oh, and the Il Fresco Sundae… AMAZING! Oh, oh, and they definitely do not knock you over the head with their pricing. If you want lessons on how a restaurant should operate, take notes from Il Fresco!

The martinis here are not only creative, but they’re also huge and delicious and undoubtedly my favorite part of il fresco. The food, however, is nothing to rave about. I’ve tried several lunch and app items, and last night I ate dinner here for the first time. I got a salmon special in white wine lemon sauce, flavor was not very prevalent and the salmon was slightly dry. The service is always on point though. So come here for a cute atmosphere(like a grandmas house) and a killer martini and maybe an eggplant rollatini and call it a drunk night.
