WaBa Grill

I visited here yesterday… it was my first visit at any WaBa Grill… and sadly, it was my last!
Food tasted okay… I like Flame Broiler better.
However, one star is for this place decorating their walls with buddah idols! Don’t bring your false gods into the work place! I refuse to eat a place that displays idols… I will NEVER give you my money to support your idolatry!

Salmon was burnt and broccoli wasn’t cooked enough but the service was good very nice cashiers

Pretty good for fast food. Have only had the chicken bowl. The meat was tender and tasted good. Wish they had fried rice. Don’t like the little packets of teriyaki sauce but sometimes there are bottles available. Location is clean and quiet and has an outdoor area.
At this particular location the parking is a bit short at lunch time.

I like coming here for lunch its an easy healthy choice it doesnt take a long time. I like coming here compared to other waba grills this is one of the best locations the portions are good and consistent. One of the things that I don’t like is that they push for you to use the little packs of hot sauce and teriyaki sauce instead of the bottles that they use to provide. Those little packs are sometimes hard to open. The staff is really nice. The place is really clean.

The food is very good and they have tofu options which is great because I am vegetarian. My complaint is with an employee named Roxy. I work around the area so I call to place an order when she answers the phone she puts me on hold and never comes back on the line I walk in and I am still on hold. She has done this three times this was the last straw, I hope she learns from this review and pays attention to what she is doing.

Hey it’s Chain establishment food. Good quality tho, and this place is better than flame broiler & yoshinoya hands down. My go to when I’m craving teriyaki bowl.

I came in earlier today and the food was great! First time trying waba grill I had the chicken steak plate, it was bomb. Fast service and a nice staff they told me all about their menu because I mentioned it was my first time.

Food is good but service is horrible. The girl at the cash register seemed upset and when I asked for onions she gave me a look. RUDE!

Today I was so excited to find a food place near me job but I was quite the disappointment the chicken is thinly sliced and dry.

The service here honestly is not great this is my second time here in at 7 o’clock on a Saturday (normal is 9pm) I inside to go order food and everything was closing… but I was standing in front of the register for like a good minute before anyone approached me to tell me they were closing early today and didn’t give an explanation as to why… Except «we are closing early today»

I know there is suppose to be a good ratio of steak to rice, but twice I come, same guy happens to help me, and I pretty much get a bowl of rice. The amount of meat is a joke here. Waba grill is known for giving good portions of rice and meat, this place makes the company look bad. Don’t know why I came back to this waba grill but that won’t be happening again

the food was great! but the service is awful! EVERY TIME I call to place an order for my lunch, she always put me on hold! and then she forgot about me! I can hear her on the phone keep calling the next customer. I called 2 mnt, 5 mnt, 10 mnt… still busy! yes! she forgotten me! I have a short lunch. I don’t have time to go there and waiting for my food. ugh!

This location is consistent with other locations. I had the chicken bowl and it was delicious. It was too bad that they don’t sell kimchi at this location. I was the only customer in the restaurant and appreciated that my order was quickly delivered.

Overall a decent Waba, but I was disappointed that they didn’t have avocado. They also only had the sauce in the little packets which is kind of inconvenient.
The place was clean, service was friendly and fast as always. I also loved being able to watch the football game!!!

Healthy Food, Reasonable Prices, Good Customer Service.

Love the variety and the fresh, healthy cooking that Waba Grill brings to the table. I decided on the steak and chicken plate with extra meat added for and additional charge (approximately $ 2.50). I also got the salmon plate to go for dinner later. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The meat was marinated and was very tender as well.
The plates come with a small salad, I mean very small salad, white or brown rice and half an orange. I love the green onions on top and I always get extra. The Waba hot sauce goes well with everything. They also have spicy carrots and jalapeños if the Waba sauce isn’t enough for you.
I really prefer Waba Grill over Flame Broiler as everything tastes much fresher.
I love coming here and I’ll definitely be back.

It’s quick, it’s delicious, and it’s fresh.
I highly recommend the Chicken above the steak and ribs but the ribs are also really good. Majority of the time they do a great job giving generous portion of meat so the rice to meat ratio isn’t too off.
The teriyaki sauce is to die for! Makes everything taste super good. Don’t forget to get the 10%off for checking in and get it with green onions. One of my favorite places to come by for a quick meal!

This is a really tidy and modern Waba Grill location. It’s in a small strip among other healthy eateries and offers similar meals to those at Flame Broiler. I decided to take advantage of the fact that Waba has salmon on their menu which Flame Broiler does not. I got the salmon bowl with brown rice and veggies. It totaled to around $ 9 which really isn’t that bad for the quality of the food. Make sure you don’t make the mistake I did of not checking in before ordering so that you can take advantage of the 10% check in discount. The quality of the food was a notch above Flame Broiler’s but it definitely wasn’t as tasty and the portions aren’t as generous. I finished my bowl and though it was pretty tasty I wasn’t quite full and felt that the flavor was a bit lacking. The salmon was well cooked and moist and the veggies were fresh and crispy. If given the choice I’d still get a bowl of chicken, veggies and rice from Flame Broiler over Waba but it’s not worth dismissing altogether. I’m sure I’ll be back and will likely come when I’m not as hungry because as mentioned, the portions aren’t very big. I will likely bring my own hot sauce as well as their’s didn’t really do the trick.

Service attitude could not have been better! Greeting with a smile with a «water cup» and a wink while I waited. Top notch.
Food was carryout so I must be fair, but by the time I got to eat my steak Teriyaki, it was a bit dry and chewy. I got chicken, too, and it was just fine.
WaBa has locations everywhere in California. Tough Teriyaki would not keep me away. With the great service, am absolutely confident they would have made it right had I still been in the restaurant.

This place is convenient and consistent. I think of this as a nicer version of yoshinoya. The inside is clean and well designed. The food is pretty fresh and well portioned. Definitely a good place to go when you need a quick, healthy, and light lunch.
