My co-workers and I love to eat at The Grill Kabob, almost weekly. The service is always impeccable. The owner or manager is always present at lunch time and makes sure the orders go out quickly and fresh each time. The food is great quality and made fresh to order. Sometimes that takes a few extra minutes but I’m always on my lunch break and still have time to eat and walk back to the office. Portion sizes are worth the value. I love that you can order the kabob or the shish. The kabob is just meat & the shish is meat & veggies. The hummus(both regular & spicy) are the best tasting, not gritty or grainy like some hummus dips at other places. The tzatziki sauce is better & more flavorful than others. I have not had the salads but my fav order is the Chicken Kabob(or Shish), with rice & hummus. Don’t forget the pita bread for that hummus. BOMBDOTCOM! Kudos to The Grill Kabob. Much better than the restaurant there before. 2 thumbs up. 5 stars.

Never wrote a review for them yet until now and their Block /Outlets of Orange location is closed down. Someone here mentioned that they actually moved to Anaheim, around Lincoln and Gilbert cross streets. Hope so because their food was fast, but still taste good. The place was super busy. Better food than movie theater stuff. Things that went into my tummy were… Gyro — had delicious meat strips. Lamb — pounded flat pieces with a light liver taste, but still tasted good. Nice homey Middle Eastern type white rice. Hummus — slightly gaining, the mildly darker kind. Yummy spicy lime green sauce. The nice register lady hooked me up with lots of cucumber sauce too. :D The Tahiti cucumber sauce had a good kinda of herb mix, but overall a bit on the sour side.

This place will work in a pinch if you’re craving Mediterranean food. I had a gyro with a side of rice and salad. Nothing special about the flavor or quality but friendly service and great location are helping this review.

I’ve always been a big fan of Greek food and Mediterranean food. When it comes to this food I just want exactly what I ordered. No bells and whistles just to keep it simple. That’s exactly what they do. Food: I order the gyro pita sandwich everytime I go and hummus and pita bread. The sandwich is what you could expect at any place but still fantasticly delicious. I put their spicy sauce they give me on it and I’m happy. The spicy hummus I like a lot. It has a great kick or punch in flavor and zest to it. Service: Now this is where they lose have a star. The guys that work the register are not so great. I wish they would smile a little bit. While taking my order they seemed annoyed. Location: They also lose half a star here. I love the block or they call it the outlets of orange now, but it’s become overcrowded and teen invaded. This place is hidden in the back of the foot court area. It’s kinda messy outside and the trash is always full and falling all over the floor. The inside is uncomfortably hot so I always sit outside. All and all I’ll probably come back to this place I enjoy it. I recommend it to anyone looking for they’re basic Mediterranean food.

I’m not sure how this place gets 4.5 stars. I guess if you compare it with the other food court places, it’s not too bad. It’s a great value. They give you lots of fries. The gyro was whatever’s. But compared to other Kebabs places, I prefer others.

Gyro platter was very generous with tons of veggies. It came with 2 sides and I got the cucumber salad(very fresh) and Crinkle fries(when is the last time you had these ?) The meat was excellent though I wish there was more. The gyro was soft, almost dough like. They served a spicy sauce which will knock you out. Overall good food and excellent service.

The food here is pretty standard. I ordered the lamb kebab special with rice. The lamb was a tad bit overcooked, making it a little difficult to chew. My main gripe is the lack of sauces to go with the rice. There really isn’t enough lamb/veggies to justify the amount is rice, ratio off. If you’re hungry, it’ll do the job, but not exactly a delicious meal.

This place really surprised me, I wasn’t expecting it to be be good. The chicken kabob is so juicy and spiced to perfection! The tzatziki sauce they offer is different from the traditional tzatziki, it is much better. This place offers Halal food at a great price. I do think they should advertise that more. The lady who took my order(I’m pretty sure she is the owner) was SO nice! She really wanted to make sure we were happy with our order and enjoyed the food. Next time I am at the block, I will be coming back!

We were warmly greeted upon entry. The man standing at the door offered samples of their most popular item, the chicken kabob. He offered us recommendations of some of his favorite items on the menu. Also mentioned that he enjoyed the rice. The passionate way he described each item is something I try to train into my associates as well. We were planning on eating here already, so we walked in. We did order the chicken kabobs. They we’re very flavorful. We ordered the hummus and rice as well. The rice was well cooked, the hummus was just okay, but the highlight was the chicken and possibly that delicious roasted tomato. So well seasoned. Came out hot, and perfectly cooked, kinda yellow looking. The spice and color indicated maybe curry was used as a marinade, but I’m not complaining. We received two drinks free, and overall service and food were satisfy. Only thing that could have been approved is the cleanliness. I noticed about six tables that needed busing. The associates working delivered food outside, and never came back out to clean tables. I believe there were only three other tables occupied, and overall a slow late afternoon. The drink machine was also out of ice. The cashier’s heard it attempt to dispense ice and did not offer to get ice from the back of house. But with the lack of cleanliness in the dining room, I doubt you would want ice anyways. I am still going to return, the chicken kabobs were delicious. Good portion size. Only got half a piece of pita bread sadly, but overall satisfied.

Was shopping at The Block and needed to get some lunch. Popped into this place and was very pleasantly surprised. Got the Gyro wrap. By far, one of the best gyros I have every had. The meat was so flavorful! Service was great. The owner was there and she was very nice as were the other staff. Highly recommend. Go here!

The moment we said that it was our first time here, the service went from good to excellent! We were a little overwhelmed with the menu because there were so many combos with 1 side here, 2 sides there, chicken, beef, gyro? But one of the employees helped us out and we got the combo plate with chicken, lamb, salad, and hummus(good enough for two people). She even threw in two drinks, a side of rice, and grape leaves for us to try! That was super sweet of her and, in my opinion, a good way to advance in your business. Everything was very yummy! Loved the chicken! Rice was fluffy and hummus was flavorful. Their most popular combo is the chicken and ground beef(which is what I would try next time). Great service, great food! We felt very welcomed, which is rare for newbies like us. The time spent on us felt like we were right at home!

I was craving Middle Eastern food, and remembered this place. I’ve walked by this location many times, even when it was the Italian restaurant. I walked in, and it took a moment for someone to help us. The prices for the specials were decent(for mall food) so I ordered a 1 strip kufta(ground beef kebob) and Karen had the chicken kebob(boneless chicken pieces) for $ 8. Both of us had it served on a bed of basmati rice. They also had a combo with 2 sides, for about $ 2 more. The food was cooked to order, so it took about 10 – 15 minutes for our food to arrive. Portions for the meat was adequate, and as always Middle Eastern places are generous with the rice. The chicken had a kick to it, but the tahini sauce that came with it helped put out the fire. The kufta has a good flavor to it, but was a tad bit salty. Both of us gulped down our drinks. I did mention to the lady/owner that we found the chicken to be a bit spicy… for us, but it was tasty and tender. She suggested the rotisserie chicken next time. Overall a good meal, and affordable. With 2 drinks our meals came to under $ 20. Had I checked in before ordering, I could have had our drinks for free, or at least 1 soda I wouldn’t mind coming back, as long as I remember to have them tone down the spices.

Small mom and pop place in the Outlets with super friendly staff and delicious food. I only got their #1(rotisserie chicken, leg) and it’s juicy and tasty, a clear winner. You get one side, pita, and a drink for $ 7. If you want two pieces of chicken you can order the #11(not on the menu) and get an additional piece of chicken and one additional side for $ 11. Hummus is bomb. It’s a solid choice for lunch and the service is so friendly. Highly recommended.

The food quality was good, but I’m not sold that it’s value for the money. The portions are generous but I still felt something was missing. Their sauce is heavily cilantro based with a little kick. I personally enjoyed it but sharing for those who don’t like cilantro. I had the small lamb kebob plate for a little over $ 10 after tax. The food took a long time to prepare and arrive to our table. The food did taste fresh. I did get the chopped salad as my side which are cubes of tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, etc instead of the garden salad. It was fresh but it can be bland for some people.

Not gonna lie, this is definitely my favorite place to go nowadays when I don’t bring lunch or when I want my hummus fix. The food is quick(unless you go at the peak of lunch hour), affordable, healthy, and oh so delicious. The customer service is great for a place like this, especially what it seems like the owner. She’s so welcoming and super friendly! I had asked for rice, not knowing the extra charge, and was willing to pay but she gave me it anyway, free of charge. After trying a variety of things on the menu, I finally found my three favorite things that is definitely a must order: I love the hummus here!!! Garlicky and delicious, and not as tart as a lot of places I’ve tried. And their piping hot, fresh, and fluffy pita. Soft but with a chewiness. Yummm Chicken kabob plate: so good, meat is tender and love the spices. Comes with your choice of hummus, rice, fries, etc. also love their sauces Rotisserie chicken: hands down. Moist and juicy, AND well seasoned! And the cherry on top? That crispy skin! You get to choose between the breast or the leg. Of course I got the dark meat. I’m not gonna lie, never a big fan of chicken when I can get a nice steak or something, but this place definitely makes me love chicken dishes a lot more.

This is a fairly new place at the Outlets of Orange and I am always a fan of Mediterranean food but this place was a little bit to pricey for me. I got the Lamb Pita which was $ 9.50. This comes with a side and we got the Hummus and the Pita Bread. The hummus was actually pretty amazing and the lamb was full of flavors. It just seems really small for such a high price. We also got a free drink that day because it was Memorial Day weekend. I think I can find other decent places for Mediterranean food but it was a good place overall. NOTE: Check in on Unilocal to receive a free drink

The menu was pretty confusing. I can see why the waitress/hostess/cashier asks everyone walking in, if they need help figuring out the menu. Those 2 and 3 items just mean additional sides, like rice or hummus. I got the Shish Special. $ 9.70 incl/tax. 4 small pieces of thin, tough beef. Not a fan of the sauces here… The hummus was pretty good and the pita bread was excellent. The food portion was decent because they piled on the hummus, but I just didn’t feel like the meal was worth it. While I was in there, I saw a couple people walk in, get confused by the menu or gawk at the prices and leave.
