Subway

Love this location! I come in for lunch at everyone always says hello, is attentive and patient when I can’t figure out what I want lol! Lisa is my girl! She makes a mean sandwich and is always telling me what specials there are. I also love that they have Feta cheese! So good in my salads! They can get pretty busy during the lunch hour but they move fast! You won’t be waiting long at all.

Once again, I am the unwitting recipient of poor customer service at the hands of this particular Subway.
So, I walk into this store and order my sandwich. Everything was great up until I handed «Cecilia» my coupon for a free sandwich, which by the way, was sent to me in the mail by the store manager from a prior complaint. Anyway, Cecilia takes the coupon and looks at it with this puzzled look on her face like she’s never seen one of these things before and walks it over to «Maggie» (the one with the gray-​colored hair) and the two have a brief discussion. She walks it back to me, points to the expiration date that is hand-​written on the coupon and says, (and I’m paraphrasing), «it looks like someone altered the expiration date on the coupon, but that’s okay we’ll take it anyway.»
Okay, wow! If you’re going take the coupon anyway, why bother making false accusations, and in the process make me, the customer, feel like a total a-​hole. I told her that the coupon was not altered in any way, but any explanation to that effect, pretty much fell on deaf ears.
Look, I’ll be honest, I’m not trying to make any kind of statement, and I’m not one to complain, but I am NEVER going into that Subway restaurant ever again. These «women» (they’re more like rebellious teenagers with their oddly-​colored hair and having the personalities of goats.) do not know anything about how to deal with people. And I don’t blame them as much as I blame the person who trained them. Regardless, I ate my sandwich and got the heck out of there.
I normally eat at Subway restaurants and generally have a very good (4-​star) experience. It’s just this location is horrible. Don’t bother. These two women act like they would rather be somewhere else than treat you with any kind of proper customer service.

If I could give negative stars I would. I ordered 2 meal deals to go. One with a soda and one with a coffee. As I was preparing my coffee, using creamer from a stainless steal like container on the counter my hands got very sticky as if they never bother to clean it. After more observation as I begun adding cream into my coffee I notice the expired date on the creamer dating back to early June. *Sigh* So I switched it to a fountain low calorie drink which was missing the syrup. *Sigh again*
I’ve been to many subways where they keep the cream refridgetated or at least on ice. Here it just sits on the counter in a sticky mess. I know it’s not necessary to keep it cold but, other locations do.
I think a better option would of been to look in the back for a fresh box of creamer or an apology and an attempt to fix it. She was more worried about taking my reject coffee back than anything else after I had them replace it with a fountain cup.
Then after getting home guess what else expired? My chips.

Update: although they do rush sometimes, they are very, very friendly. Especially the owner!

This Subway is located in the Vons shopping plaza. It is a typical Subway with the typical layout. Not a lot of dine-​in seating, but given the location, not surprising.
The customer service is typical, not great and not bad. The selection of sandwiches is awesome, however I just read the article about how Subway (and many other food places) uses an ingredient found in Yoga Mats… definitely makes me rethink about eating out.
I ordered a foot-​long chicken breast sandwich with virtually all the toppings. I love vegetables and love the fact you can add whatever you want on the sandwich.

Am I out too much in Orange County? I always seem to find these little places hidden away, even for a Subway.
Friendly staff, quick service, my sandwich just the way I like it! Subway does it write with congruency throughout most every one I hit up. Thanks. I know what to expect.
