Yay for Veronica. I am really into skin care. I want to be forever young. She sure does the job. Go see her if you are near by!

Awful. Awful. Awful.
I frequent this shopping center because of the sushi restaurant and the market. I noticed there was a salon and thought to give it a try based on the convenience. It is pretty run down inside, and is very cluttered.
I popped in to see if anyone had time for a wash/​blow dry/​flat iron. Pretty simple, basic request. There was one man working and one woman working. The woman said she had time. Great! She looked skeptical so I asked if she has customers who get blowdrys/​flat irons, and she said yes. Great!
The wash was awesome. I requested she shampoo twice and she did with no objection.
Then it was time for the style. She had no leave in conditioner, no product meant for frizz or thick hair, and no serum or products that are meant to go with heat. She showed me the options and I picked something that seemed like it was trying to be morrocon oil. She kept asking if I wanted mousse — no, thanks. She dried my hair as if I had straight hair, no effort into the round brush at all. By the time it came time to flat iron, she used a brand I’ve never heard of before, that did not get nearly hot enough to make a difference. My hair was super frizzy because she only went over each (large) strand once, and there were tons of kinks and curls up at the top because she didn’t get close to my scalp to smooth out all my hair.
She ended up running out of time (I was a walk in, and she had an hour until her next appt) so she said she was sorry she couldn’t do more. I knew I would have to go home and re-​flat iron all my hair myself, so I told her it was okay. I walked out of the salon with my hair looking MUCH worse than when I initially walked in (and mind you, I walked in with dirty hair).
$ 35.00 + $ 5.00 tip (I felt bad) for a great wash, and that was pretty much it.
I don’t know my stylist’s name, she never introduced herself, and I am sure she is a very nice person. But if this wasn’t her thing, she should have said so and I would’ve totally understood. Instead, she ended up costing me time and money.
