I always said it’s harder to find a good barber than it is to find a good dentist — and way more important!
One of the last REAL barber shops. Sports on the TVs (or sometimes good movies), good conversation, super friendly atmosphere. A place where you don’t mind hanging out if your barber is running a bit behind — which doesn’t happen often at all. This is not some bro’d-up locker room, nor is it a place that you feel uncomfortable in. These aren’t just a bunch of dudes that cut hair. They are professional hair-craftsman who know what you need, listen to what you want, and take the time to get it done right.

If you are a guy, don’t waste your time getting your haircut anywhere else. Straight razor shaves, great haircuts, beard trimming — whatever you need, get it here.

The guys at Popular Demand give excellent haircuts for men of all ages. They are experienced and have cut at other barber shops in the area. Owner Pat Doll has now created a brand new barbershop and he included everything in his place that would make getting a haircut a great experience for a customer. They mostly take appointments now but walk ins are always welcome. From little kids to guys who are serious about getting a fresh weekly cut before the weekend hits and who demand the very best are all part of the Popular Demand mix of clients. A convenient location, fair prices, easy parking literally outside their door and convenient hours, including Sundays, too! One of the best barbershops in the New Haven area with a great atmosphere and worth a drive–

I got to the barber shop today at 2:50 in the afternoon and there was a person in the chair getting a haircut and no one else in front of me. One of the 2 barbers working said he had an upcoming appointment however the other guy would take me when he was done. I saw there until 3:35 and waited patiently until the barber I was waiting for came over an said he had a father and two sons coming in for an appointment that he forgot about and I would have to wait until 6:00. What a joke this place is. I wouldnt go back if they paid me. STAY AWAY!
How unprofessional can you get. You take care of the customer that has been sitting for 45 minutes and patiently waiting for a simple haircut.
